Remember no more the sins of my youth; remember me according to Your mercy, because of Your goodness, LORD. Psalm 25:7

Wig’s Word of God Today 12-23-2011

Remember no more the sins of my youth; remember me according to Your mercy, because of Your goodness, LORD. Psalm 25:7

Malachi 3:1-4, 23-24, Psalm 25 & Luke 1:57-66

Psalm 25 is an acrostic poem where the poem follows the form of the first letter of the lines to make a name or in this case each verse begins with a successive letter of the Hebrew alphabet. Below in my poem today I will write an acrostic poem using the word LORD and describe the learning accomplished in practice of reading your Bible daily. Psalm 25 indicates this in its final verse where it uses the start of the beginning, middle and end verse to form the word aleph, which is the first letter of the alphabet, from a Hebrew root that means, “to learn.”

I think we’d all agree that learning is the crucial element of one getting closer to God for without study you’d surely miss out on the Truth His Word describes for us to follow each and every moment of every day. I am hopeful in His Word the LORD will forgive my sins because of His Son’s Life, Death and Resurrection, where by Jesus proves to us our Father will see us as worthy only if we repent and live in His Truth of Surrender. There is no way the LORD will completely forget but He allows the Blood of His Son to wipe our sins clean from the depths of our soul making us worthy by faith, charity and love. We too must forgive to love, love to live and live to learn by loving our love of loving Christ Jesus. Amen.

By God, His Son and His Spirit we pray to learn from Your Word daily to accomplish faith, charity and love. We pray for every child and parent. We pray for each other- our families and friends. We pray for our leaders and police officers. We pray for Prayer Point. We pray for people traveling for Christmas. We pray for Tim. We pray for LIFE FM. We pray for the Spirit to accept, bravery in God to change and intelligence of Christ’s Truth to know. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Speak boastfully no longer, Do not let arrogance issue from your mouths. For an all-knowing God is the LORD, a God who weighs actions. 1 Samuel 2:3

Wig’s Word of God Today 12-22-2011

Speak boastfully no longer, Do not let arrogance issue from your mouths. For an all-knowing God is the LORD, a God who weighs actions. 1 Samuel 2:3

1 Samuel 1:24-28, 1 Samuel 2:1-8 & Luke 1:46-56

Many of us struggle with the sin of pride and we follow the rule of thumb to fight for being the best at something but God gives us all remarkable gifts and talents that are God-given truths to follow overcoming the boastful sin of pride. Your Christ-driven talent comes from His Truth to allow the souls of sinful living to come home to righteous breathing. Boastful no longer but humbled by His Truth to live daily for faith, charity and love. Hannah describes a balance she knows God will execute in His Time to accomplish His Will of humbling the proud, reversing fortunes of the poor and bringing life to her through Samuel.

She trusts and honors God so much she gives her first-born Samuel to Him as a little child to grow and find not an arrogant mouth but a God-given tongue of righteousness. She emptied herself just as God asks us to empty ourselves for the glory of His Son’s Salvation. My study in brevity is alive in Him to help you find how God has blessed you with the aptitude to work for Truth allowing the work to speak for itself. Hannah’s action spoke volumes of her love and trust of God’s guidance, strength and vindication. How can we boast by work alone to find our Cross held high over our heads for the glory of God the Father? How can you love your love of loving Christ Jesus in work alone?

By God, His Son and His Spirit we pray to be humble and to empty ourselves before You always. We pray our actions speak for themselves of our love for You. We pray for every child and parent. We pray for each other- our families and friends. We pray for our leaders and police officers. We pray for Prayer Point. We pray for people traveling for Christmas like my brother Chris. We pray for Tim. We pray for LIFE FM. We pray for the Spirit to accept, bravery in God to change and intelligence of Christ’s Truth to know. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Blessed are you who believed that what was spoken to you by the LORD would be fulfilled. Luke 1:45

Wig’s Word of God Today 12-21-2011

Blessed are you who believed that what was spoken to you by the LORD would be fulfilled. Luke 1:45

Zephaniah 3:14-18a, Psalm 33 & Luke 1:39-45

In our surrender to the LORD’s Will in our lives, we all experience the LORD’s voice in different ways. Maybe you hear Him when you’re changing your son’s diaper. Maybe you hear Him when you mow the grass. Maybe you hear Him when you’re in prayer. We must seek to understand His Word by practice- opening the Bible and analyze It to fulfill His Will. I’ve heard it said before that if the voice contradicts with the written Word of God then you must abandon the thoughts of seeing it through. Here in Luke the Mother of God is saying “yes” to an angel’s (Gods) words of confusion, excitement and surrender. She is confused for she knows she’s been with no one. She’s excited for an angel of God talks openly in sight with her. She surrenders to His Plan of Salvation.

Our lives are not unlike the choices she boldly accepted that day. We struggle in confusion over the choices our God-given Free Will drives us to do. We think we are in charge but we are as far from it than we realize. To live for Him we must read the Word of God with fervor and desire to live with less yet openly sharing more. We are excited about God’s Truth as it begins to unfold with tender loving consequential grace infiltrating our hearts- our very being to immerse ourselves in His Salvation. Here the surrender that takes place is sometimes sudden or transitional because each of us has our own Divine Plan to live for God. We must examine our very being in His Light constantly to steer clear of selfish acts of disrespect to our Hope, our Friend, our Salvation. In loving His love of loving you love your love of Christ. Amen.

By God, His Son and His Spirit we pray to say yes LORD as Mary said yes to You for every concern our life has to offer by You. We pray for Robert Maldonado today for his surgery and recovery. We pray for every child and parent. We pray for each other- our families and friends. We pray for our leaders and police officers. We pray for Prayer Point today at US1 and the IHOP near Florida City from 9:30 –10:30 AM. We pray for Tim. We pray for LIFE FM. We pray for the Spirit to accept, bravery in God to change and intelligence of Christ’s Truth to know. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

In Elizabeth’s womb making some God noise

The Holy Spirit dwelled in her cousin’s heart to say

Crying out in a loud voice her blessedness to stay

Most Blessed Hail Mary full of grace

Your womb carried humanity’s fate

A fruit so precious and sweet for all to taste

I will not ask! I will not tempt the LORD! Isaiah 7:12

Wig’s Word of God Today 12-20-2011

I will not ask! I will not tempt the LORD! Isaiah 7:12

Isaiah 7:10-14, Psalm 24 & Luke 1:26-38

It seems many of the world are missing the boat when it comes to understanding that God knows everything you want and need but people still go on asking Him for miracles as believers or wondrous things as a nonbeliever so they become believers. I find many people to be living haphazardly when it comes to giving God everything He asks for pretending the LORD doesn’t care or take notice in the way we conduct ourselves. I believe the LORD brings us back to the same point repeatedly to teach the true lesson of obedience and understanding of how to live for His Will.

This may come from a hollow or judgmental thinking giving way to a loss of living the Truth of God’s Word. God will never lose patience with reminding us by bringing us back to the point over and over again until we finally learn our lesson and succumb to a complete communion with Him. In each step we take, we must recognize God is in control of everything and knows the soul’s obsession before we take action of disappointing Him but allows us to learn from the mistakes we live by the beauty of Free Will. God will never lose patience with us directing us to learn what He wants by our practice, prayer and proclamation. Amen.

By God, His Son and His Spirit we pray to ask only for wisdom and guidance to accomplish Your Will LORD. We pray for every child and parent. We pray for each other- our families and friends. We pray for our leaders and police officers. We pray for Prayer Point. We pray for Tim. We pray for LIFE FM. We pray for the Spirit to accept, bravery in God to change and intelligence of Christ’s Truth to know. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

In You, LORD, I take refuge; let me never be put to shame. Psalm 71:1

Wig’s Word of God Today 12-19-2011

The woman bore a son and named him Samson, and when the boy grew up the LORD blessed him ‘and the spirit of the LORD came upon him.’ Judges 13:24-25a

In You, LORD, I take refuge; let me never be put to shame. Psalm 71:1

Judges 13:2-25, Psalm 71 & Luke 1:5-25

I often sit in prayer and embrace the complete ecstasy of being One with God in all things by closing my eyes and sitting back in quiet allowing His Truth to course through my veins. I crave this place often with my wife Toni. It’s a place of refuge and safety where any outside noise becomes lost. As a child, my grandmother from my mom’s side would live in this refuge- a place of holiness and divine everywhere she went.

The stories she told me included the story of Samson and if you look back at pictures of me, you’ll find the long hair-mimicking look of the Samson in my mind. I often call out to Mildred Carter now-a-days meditating I would have found more time to pray with her and mimic her. Many might say “I wish” I could/would do this or that but I pray in a state of God’s Will not wishing but praying to accomplish His Grace.

My grandmother who loved the LORD so much prayed constantly as well and was even taken home in a church pew at a Sunday evening service. I remember feeling such peace when I was told she had died knowing the LORD knew her heart and soul to be humble, meek and devout. No tears at first, just smiles.

I like many of you I believe in this state of seventh heaven where God’s Will dictates our actions of faith, charity and love. Using your Free Will to live in His Wonder. Free Will to find His Refuge of Truth. Using your Free Will to embrace your love of loving His Son Jesus. Amen.

By God, His Son and His Spirit we pray to find Your Refuge LORD and trust Your Will. Amen.

Made known to all nations to bring about the obedience of faith. Romans 16:27d

Wig’s Word of God Today 12-18-2011

I will sing of Your mercy forever, LORD proclaim Your faithfulness through all ages. Psalm 89:2

Made known to all nations to bring about the obedience of faith. Romans 16:27d

2 Samuel 7:1-16, Psalm 89, Romans 16:25-27 & Luke 1:26-38

There are so many ways to show faithfulness to the LORD and His Truth. If you take a moment to think about the joy and pain of God’s history, you see His faithfulness unfold in every history book ever written. People of faith are not without trials and tribulations. On the contrary, people of faith experience His Will with tenacity and insistence. We may see the shell but God knows the soul of each and every creature alive by His Nostril of Life. Each breath taken by every living thing experiences His Life-giving magnitude. Greatness unfathomable by the mortal brain but experienced in the unsounded depth of God’s Eternal Love and Forgiveness of His Universe. The obedience of faith navigates the depths of His immeasurable universe by faithful respect of His Word.

I have met and witnessed many people who have taken the leap of faith in His Ocean of Righteousness. Some I have met while seeking a haircut or looking for men to build a community of Godly friendships. My barber John has given me faith to mimic as a faithful servant of God who has become a trusted Christian friend. My first encounter with obedience to faith in a men’s group was learning from two towering men of God when I entered my first Emmaus. These two men struck with me deference of God’s Truth amongst the problems and tests of one’s courage or perseverance with unwavering ecstasy to living God’s Word.

The Roadmap to Life was shared that first night and their route to a life of faith, charity and love. One was the leader of my first Emmaus while the other was the leader of my second. I went from a candidate to a team member embracing a newfound brotherly men’s group to guide me, teach me and surround me with God’s Eternal Mercy of Christ’s Love. Everyone knows you are who you surround yourself with and these men opened their arms and welcomed me into a circle of God’s Truth.

I’ll never forget listening to the first leader speak of God’s tender love and forgiveness in the midst of a storm that would sink the biggest of boats yet stayed afloat because of obedience to faith. I identified with his life and his desire to live life in God’s Eternal Forgiving Embrace. The second leader called me one day after my first Emmaus and asked me to join his team of Emmaus Brothers and he grew into an immediate friend who was willing to sweat and cry with me. These two men have taken the leap of faith becoming Ordained Deacons of the Church yesterday. My elation for their achievement, allegiance and vow has been constant in daily prayer for their steadfastness to live for His Will. My prayers have been and will be constant daily for you both. Thank you both for living your love of loving Christ Jesus. Amen.

By God, His Son and His Spirit we pray to be eternally obedient to Your Word by our faith, charity and love. We say a prayer of thanksgiving for George Labelle and Jose Villena. Guide them LORD to be ever faithful. Amen.

Blessed be His glorious Name forever; may He fill all the earth with His glory. Psalm 72:19

Wig’s Word of God Today 12-17-2011

Blessed be His glorious Name forever; may He fill all the earth with His glory. Psalm 72:19

Genesis 49:2, 8-10, Psalm 72 & Matthew 1:1-17

Take a moment a bow your head and pray with me. Heavenly King and Almighty Father, we pray today in thanksgiving for the glorious deeds Your Wonder has accomplished for Your Humanity. May Your Glorious Name be on the lips of Your people forever more as the Glory of Your Truth fills every mouth and heart with the Salvation of Your Son’s Blood. In Your Son’s Precious Name we pray. Amen.

Our monthly Kairos Prison Ministry met last night in Dade Correctional in Florida City to over 100 inmates waiting for an early arrival of 10 or so men who wanted nothing more than to serve the LORD seeking to share His Son’s birth with the Men in Blue. The light blue color of their pants and shirts many paled by years of washing them over and over and over reminds me of the open ocean in various seas I’ve traveled in the world in the Navy.

We sang Christmas songs and prayed with smiling forgiven faces of consequential Free Will. Some happy and some sad. Some anxious and some mad. I spoke of making way for the LORD in preparedness guided by the Holy Spirit as John did for Jesus in the desert. Prepared to me means to practice I told an inmate who nervously described his soon release after 18 years.

Some time after he spoke I walked over, simply asked him his name, and began with his name in prayer continuing with “LORD you tell us to acknowledge You in all our ways and You will direct our path. I pray you guide his choices to be Your choices of studying Your Word, living in prayer and actively seeking to proclaim Your Kingdom by his charity. May he work for You LORD. I pray he trusts You LORD. I pray You provide for his needs. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen. God bless you.”

This week we as we all work to prepare our way for the LORD’s birth, many of us wearing our “Keep Christ in Christmas” t-shirts, remember His birth brought Salvation to the world and some how some way we have to share this in life-living example, non judgmental charity and unwavering proclamation. We must unite as one people in God to live for His Truth. “My soul is screaming, Hey you- I’m in to Jesus. I’ve seen the Truth and I believe” mentality. Not describing just living. How can you move the mountains of apathy in your home, your community and your world? Active faith. Active prayer. Active charity. Amen.

By God, His Son and His Spirit we pray to praise the Glory of God the Father. We pray for Tim constantly. We pray for every child and parent. We pray for each other- our families and friends. We pray for Prayer Point today praying for the lost souls of Christ’s children at the abortion clinic on 117th from 7-8 am. We pray for Ray. We pray for LIFE FM. We pray for the Spirit to accept, bravery in God to change and intelligence of Christ’s Truth to know. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Observe what is right, do what is just, for My Salvation is about to come, My justice, about to be revealed. Isaiah 56:1

Wig’s Word of God Today 12-16-2011

Observe what is right, do what is just, for My Salvation is about to come, My justice, about to be revealed. Isaiah 56:1

These works that I perform testify on My behalf that the Father has sent Me. John 5:36b

Isaiah 56:1-3a, 6-8, Psalm 67 & John 5:33-36

Jesus always claimed the Divine Power to rule life over death as He raised the dead and explained all would enjoy Eternal Life if one would believe in His Truth. The Truth’s He spoke constantly as He gave His life to God’s Divine Plan for Humanity hanging on a Cross for all to see. John the Baptist Jesus explained was the lamp lit in the desert they were content for a while to go and see but would not believe in his work for the Father.

The work of Christ came directly from God Himself yet people wouldn’t embrace His Truth only the words of mere mortals which Jesus dismissed and described as unacceptable. There is a need in us all to be liked or accepted by our family, friends and peers but Jesus reminds us that our work is for the Glory of God Himself and we should not contend ourselves with the praise of any human being or group.

I have been trying to get puppies placed for my homeless friend Bill whose two dogs he loves with all his heart bore him a litter of six puppies. Yesterday the owners of Shiver’s Bar-B-Q who feed Bill and his two dogs often brought out the Forever Friends Rescue to help not only take the puppies but to also spay his female for free. As we gathered the puppies with Bill’s help, I stopped and prayed thanking God for sending me to do His work even in this small but important task as the puppies nervously did their business (PU) on me when I carried them to the van. When we love our love of Christ even the smallest and dirtiest jobs are such a reward for the Glory of God the Father. Amen.

By God, His Son and His Spirit we pray to always do what is right for the Glory of God the Father. We pray for Tim constantly. We pray for every child and parent. We pray for Bob and Mary Carter. We pray for each other- our families and friends. We pray for Prayer Point and the needs of the USA. We pray for Aaron Kuehne. We pray for LIFE FM and the Kid Hero’s for Faith. We pray for the Spirit to accept, bravery in God to change and intelligence of Christ’s Truth to know. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with great tenderness I will take you back. Isaiah 54:7

Wig’s Word of God Today 12-15-2011

For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with great tenderness I will take you back. Isaiah 54:7

Acknowledged the Righteousness of God. Luke 7:29e

Isaiah 54:1-10, Psalm 30 & Luke 7:24-30

The Christmas Season always seems to bring either the best of times or the loneliest of times embracing/rejecting family, friends and neighbors. It is a time we should intentionally seek out people of God to enjoy His consolation of love and forgiveness with people who love and care for you. There will be times when you may feel God is not hearing your prayer or giving you all you deserve but He wants you to find His Truth in every corner you turn to live for embracing the Truth He guides us by in His Word.

If you are lost and misguided, turn to God in prayer and ask Him to guide you through the Christmas Season with people of faith, charity and love finding the time to seek out the lost souls of Christ’s love. You may find more than you can imagine by living His Truth in action for increased faith, guided charity and intense love from complete strangers who are God’s angels of intersession. When you sin, God will be separated from your communion with Him but in repentance, He will embrace you with great tenderness lifting your soul to new heights of Truth.

The Pharisee and Scribes chose not to acknowledge the Righteousness of God and rejected John the Baptist as a harebrained fool in the desert but the people he baptized found forgiveness, faith and love that guided them to embrace the Words of Christ. This Christmas Season do not be afraid to acknowledge the Righteousness of God in your intentional acts of charity. Everywhere you look, you will find God’s children lonely, abandoned and scared. He is calling us to evangelize, avoid lies and sweat some tithes. Please come knock on my door and sing Christmas Carols by loving your love of Christ Jesus. Amen.

By God, His Son and His Spirit we pray to always acknowledge righteousness in the glory of God the Father. We pray for Tim constantly. We pray for every child and parent. We pray for Bob and Mary Carter. We pray for each other- our families and friends. We pray for Prayer Point and the needs of the USA. We pray for Aaron Kuehne. We pray for Michael who is looking for work in ministry. We pray for LIFE FM and the Kid Hero’s for Faith. We pray for the Spirit to accept, bravery in God to change and intelligence of Christ’s Truth to know. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Turn to Me and be safe, all you ends of the earth, for I am God; there is no other! Isaiah 45:22

Blessed is the one who takes no offense at Me. Luke 7:23

Isaiah 45:6-25, Psalm 85 & Luke 7:18b-23

My thrill of being a teacher of God’s children comes not only in that very moment when a child will go, “a ha” or “I get it,” but in every step I take to teach humanity the joy of knowing you are safe in the arms of God for there is no other. In my classroom of the world I share the love of God to allow individuals an opportunity to know the Truth in living His Word.

In my classroom of my school I teach children to know right from wrong, how to read and write and how to be conscious of the less fortunate. I like to tell my parents each year I’m not just your child’s reading, math, history and science teacher, I am proud to say I will teach your child how to live in faith, share compassion and provide hope for people around them as they grow up. I believe we want an active youth who will seek ways to share faith, charity and love.

I know in my heart and I am teaching by example for in the world of separation of church and state we are not allowed to talk about God’s Only Son. In my Montessori classroom, we teach tolerance and understanding of all religions where the Creator of all is loving, charitable and compassionate to each and every human. I do feel blessed because I take no offense in the Son of God and surrender my life to His Truth but I share this surrender in a silent sort of way which speaks volumes of Who God’s Only Son is; Truth. I love my love of loving Christ Jesus. Amen.

By God, His Son and His Spirit we pray for everyone who repents and accepts Jesus as their LORD and Savior. We pray for LIFE FM. We pray for the Spirit to accept, bravery in God to change and intelligence of Christ’s Truth to know. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

God Bless His Truth for America,

Spirit led God inspired Christ fed

Blessed by the One Who Takes No Offense of Me- Luke 7:18-23

John the Baptist wanted to ask

Jesus are you the One to come?

Or should we look for another?

Not to rush You or cause you druthers

We want to know to live for Your Truth

You are curing and giving sight to the youth

The sufferings of poor are obvious no more

As the lame are walking opening Your door

Go and tell John what you have seen

The sight of blind have opened to see

The Good News proclaimed for all to be

Blessed by the One who takes no offense of Me
