Wig’s Word of God Today 12-13-2011

Amen, I say to you, tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the Kingdom of God before you. Matthew 21:31e

Zephaniah 3:1-2, 9-13, Psalm 34 & Matthew 21:28-32

John the Baptist spent a lot of time in the Jordan baptizing every type of individuals calling all to repentance preparing the way for Jesus to share Eternal Salvation for all who believe. Many of the religious leaders of the time scoffed at John relishing him to a lunatic living in the desert eating wild bugs and speaking strange words. Not so with the common folk of the day i.e. tax collectors, prostitutes and sinners of all types.

They came seeking forgiveness of their sins and found John talking about the One to come Who he wasn’t fit to untie His sandal strap. Jesus just got done telling the chief priests and elders He wouldn’t tell them Who has given Him the Authority to heal the sick, raise the dead and above all forgive sins for they wouldn’t even believe the one in the desert to baptize themselves and come clean with God. They were so filled with conceit they couldn’t see the Truth in every miracle Christ performed as the One Who was sent by God to give every human opportunity to know and live forgiveness.

Many of you may read my love of loving Christ Jesus in brevity here each day but still struggle with areas of life that seem to control you. I for one am here to remind you by God’s Will to seek His Truth in every situation and His Truth will set you free. Each of you have made the decision to know Who Jesus Christ is by your willingness to share my thoughts each day but more so by your commitment to live in a relationship with Him through your practice, prayer and proclamation.

I heard a NFL player the other day say he wished Tim Tebow would stop saying He loves Jesus Christ first and then thanking Him every time he was interviewed on any news program. The response from Tebow reminds me of how one with True love responds about Who is first in life and that’s God. As my wife’s tag reads on the front of her car, “God First- All Else Will Fall Into Place.”

Tebow said when you get married do you tell your wife only on that day you love her? He said of course not, you tell her every time you get the chance. (I love you Toni.) Tebow continued, “that’s how I feel about my relationship with Jesus Christ is that it is the most important thing in my life. So any time I get an opportunity to tell Him that I love Him or given an opportunity to shout Him out on national TV, I’m gonna take that opportunity.” Amen Tim Tebow- I love your love of loving Christ Jesus. I love you Jesus!

A parable of two sons asked to work for dad

Their vineyard needed pruning and upkeep

However, the son’s response made him sad

The first was asked to go and work

At first he said no but went instead

Yes sir he replied but instead stayed in bed

You chief priests and elders witnessed John baptize

But refused to take part by your conceit to start

Wig’s Word of God Today 12-12-2011

Then the dragon became angry with the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring, those who keep God’s commandments and bear witness to Jesus. Revelation 12:17

Revelation 11 & 12, Judith 13:18-19 and Luke 1:26-38

The world has difficulty recognizing God’s Truth more so when it comes with extraordinary events and evidence of it immaculate ability to give overwhelming evidence. Sure, many of the world believe God sent His Only Son to die for sins of the world curing people along the way of every known illness or infirmity but people have always had a hard time believing anything when it comes to God’s grace over the woman who became “the handmaid of the LORD.”

Today there is a celebration worldwide because the mother of Jesus chose to show herself to a poor simple God-fearing man who had been converted to Christianity in Mexico after the liberation by Hernando Cortez from the idolatry and human sacrifice of the Aztecs. Few converted to Christianity in the first 10 years after Cortez’s liberation but all of this changed when the Mother of God better known as the “Lady of Guadalupe” appeared to Juan Diego on a hill named Tepeyac. Over nine million Aztecs were baptized and accepted Jesus as their LORD and Savior after the appearance of the Mother of God.

The amazing thing about this apparition is the lady gave Juan Diego flowers to pick and give to the bishop that in no way could have grown there in winter December month. As importantly, Diego wrapped them in his cloak called a tilma made of cactus fibers and upon opening the cloak to give them to the bishop revealing the gorgeous, sweet scented flowers suddenly there appeared on the face of the tilma a precious image of the Mother of God.

The Image of Our Lady that appeared on the tilma, which can still be seen in Mexico City today, is truly miraculous and has been the wonder of scientists for hundreds of years. All, after exhaustive investigation with sophisticated analytic detectors, have concluded that the work is beyond the power of men to produce. The Image still retains its original colors, even though it was unprotected by

any covering during the first 100 years of veneration.

The bluish-green color of Our Lady’s mantle is unique. It seems to be made of an unearthly shade that as yet no artist has been able exactly to match. Just as astonishing is the fact that only the seam still holds the tilma together. The law of gravity does not allow a single flimsy cotton thread to bind two heavier materials of cloth for more than ten years, much less four hundred and fifty! The world has truly seen miracle after miracle by God through His handmade and whether you believe it or not the miraculous events are the reasons why those who believe still visit the site of the original apparition today.

The Lady of Guadalupe is the Miracle of God’s Grace

The poor farmer walked six miles one way

To receive the Body and Blood of Christ each day

For six years he had been a man truly devout

Not a stone bruise on a foot would call him out

One day he happened along the way until he heard a sweet voice

Amongst music and joy he would eventually run and report

My Diegosito come closer and please do not be afraid

I have come to ask you to help me build a chapel to pray

The music was sweeter than anything he had ever heard

Coming from the sky her voice made him feel reassured

Running to the bishop to report what he had seen

The bishop was unconvinced asking for more to believe

Diego went and asked for his evidence due

The bishop said no unless you can truly prove

She sent him for flowers on the hill in December’s freeze

Flowers of a different region he found in full bloom to please

Gathering them up he placed them in his tilma

A cactus based material adorned to fulfill her

As he placed the flowers at the bishops side

The smell from heaven truly opened their eyes

Instantly appeared the image of Mary’s face

Applied by God’s unknown miraculous fate

Now 450 years later it’s still in a perfect state

Converting Souls to know God’s Son to taste

The Lady of Guadalupe is the Miracle of God’s Grace

Wig’s Word of God Today 12-11-2011

Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the Will of God for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Isaiah 61:1-2a, 10-11, Luke 1:46-54, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-24 & John 1:6-8, 19-28

The wonder of being thankful sure goes a long way when praying and asking the LORD for your petitions and/or wants and needs of living for His Will. I mean really stop and think about that: Are you praying for what you need or what you want by being thankful? There’s not a human on this earth who will not or is not going through something right now that will not instinctively turn to God and ask for help in times of despair and need.

Usually this will include something from the seven deadly sins of wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, or gluttony. We all are choking our lives with something from this list that when it spins out of control we look for God to help. We reach out and ask Him to help us not to drown without even being thankful for His Strong Arm of Truth. “Help me LORD (I’ll say thanks later attitude) before I go under.”

We must prepare ourselves to be in His presence every minute of every day by our practice, prayer and proclamation. Being thankful is the way we should all begin our petitions as He lives in us to share for others to win. The Bible teaches us to “Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the Will of God for you in Christ.” It is my prayer to always be thankful LORD as I pray everyone will go and see the movie the Greatest Miracle. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

By God, His Son and His Spirit we pray to Rejoice in You LORD always seeking to be thankful for all things. We pray to find the Truth in every step we take. We pray for Tim constantly. May Your hand be with the Man on your Right, with the Son of Man Whom you made strong for Yourself. Psalm 80:18

Sirach 48:1-4, 9-11, Psalm 80 & Matthew 17:9a, 10-13

The Psalmist laments in a time of military defeat asking the LORD to come restore their power through the king in place to serve God as their leader. While above I have affirmed God’s glory by capitalizing references to the Davidic line of heritage, I point out to you that the same line of heritage brings about Jesus to overcome all defeat in any situation by His example of faith, charity and love.

The New Covenant affirmed His Father’s Commandments and displayed for us the journey we must surrender to for forgiveness of sins resting in Eternal Life. I would argue that we begin an Eternal Life with all advantages given once we lay down our lives and give every moment to His Truth. When you read His Word, the letters become the Breath of Life for you to follow. Pure and rich oxygen of Heaven bringing peace in any situation. Your love of loving Him becomes your collective passion.

We give way to experiencing Jesus in the same way in our everyday life. A collective passion of Trust to overcome the headaches of living. Many of the people around you are experiencing life in havoc from worries of children, alcoholism, drug abuse, and loss of employment resulting in chaotic financial worries. There must be an example in us to encourage anyone He places in our time to follow and find His Hand to guide and ensue in your walk to find His Way- His Will.

By God, His Son and His Spirit we pray to find peace in You LORD to overcome all things. We pray for Tim constantly. We pray for every child and parent. We pray for Bob and Mary Carter. We pray for each other- our families and friends. We pray for Prayer Point today at a Choice for Women on 117^th and Sunset to help find people Truth in saving their baby. Wig’s Word of God Today 12-9-2011

I am the LORD, your God, teaching you how to prevail, leading you on the way you should go. Isaiah 48:17b

The smile of life’s journey is on my face this morning as I look back to Who taught me how to prevail and conquer the fear of living life to share faith, live charity and proclaim the Truth; Jesus Christ. He taught me by my surrender of living in a relationship with Him fearing nothing seeking to always prevail to share His Redemption. I’ve listened to friends and family alike scoff at the surrender my life has now become but I enjoy the vindication by the wisdom I have enjoyed reaping Truth by my practice, prayer and proclamation. God teaches us how to prevail by living His Word and people will see this in us all who take the Yoke of Christ and fit it squarely on our shoulders to love our love of loving Him.

Last night I traveled to see and old friend and attend a presidential round table discussion group to share our thoughts and feelings about whom we support for president. Before I arrived there, my old friend Jimmy and I had dinner together and before we began I prayed over our meal asking our LORD to guide Jimmy to His Will. As we caught up from the last 6 years, I explained to him that God has given me a life of liberty filled with faith, an amazing wife and a sense of peace knowing as long as I read His Word daily and act upon His Truth, I will find wisdom to live life in His joy. As we parted, I prayed God would enlighten his soul with His Truth and I think he was surprised I hugged him as I do all Christian Brothers and Sisters saying “God Bless You.”

By God, His Son and His Spirit we pray to prevail by our surrender to His Word. We pray for Tim constantly. We pray for every child and parent. We pray for Bob and Mary Carter. We pray for a young man named Connor. We pray for each other- our families and friends. We pray for Prayer Point. We pray for Michael who is looking for work in ministry. Wig’s Word of God Today 12-8-2011

In Him we were also chosen, destined in accord with the purpose of the One Who accomplishes all things according to the intention of His Will. Ephesians 1:11

Genesis 3:9-20, Psalm 98, Ephesians 1:3-12 & Luke 1:26-38

The Father’s Plan for Salvation has been set in stone since the beginning of time where the Father chose to send Himself in the form of a man to exist sinless for us amongst the people to give us understanding and example to live by and Redeem all sin by the Blood on His Cross. The “Yes” of a worthy subject gave us Divine love to comprehend and establish a New Covenant of Love on earth not destroying the previous laws and covenants of the LORD but affirming them by the peace and charity brought to the world in Christ Jesus.

When you can align your life with the Will of God for all things for the Glory of God the Father, then you establish a true communion and surrender for the purpose of sharing and living in faith, charity and love. As I stood in front of hundreds of people early last night holding a sign reading “Prayer Point- Stop and Pray for the USA,” I could hear and witness the Will of God being transformed by complete strangers who prayed with me countless times lifting up our nation for the Glory of God. I could sense of joy of Christ Jesus amongst happy faces destined to live God’s Will for the Salvation of souls. Join me in sharing our love of loving Christ Jesus. Amen.

Come to Me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

Isaiah 40:25-31, Psalm 103 & Matthew 11:28-30

The Gates of Hell are opened by your acceptance of Satan’s lies and may be entered when you are burdened to find not rest but the eternal flames of torment. In today’s selfish world of lust, greed and disrespect, all of humanity are burdened with choices that seem to be out of control yet are being followed by the lies of hell’s noose. Families are choosing to work two jobs and leave their children in day care or by themselves after school to find evil lurking in every corner. No one seems to care that kids are being raised by neighbor’s children and teens who know not the Word of God but the word of evil spirits directing their good intentions to follow paths of ugliness and sin.

Our Father is seeking to give us true rest in our demise of society’s fall of being led by materialism, gluttony and insatiability. Our yoke is heavy and no on can deny this but our LORD brought His Son to the world to give us a shoulder to lean on in every situation big or small to give us undeniable support in any situation. We must take the time to learn from Christ’s Gospel each day and understand our need to follow His Word to help the lost and confused. For Jesus said, “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for your selves. For My yoke is easy, and My burden light.” Matthew 11:29-30 How can we be an example to follow if we don’t seek His Word to guide our faith, charity and love? How do you love your love of Christ?

Prayer Point number one is finally happening today after months of planning and setbacks due to a sign being delayed and a heavy teaching load this year in school. Tonight I’ll be attending the One Conference Rally to hear Christine Caine talk about her worldwide campaign to stop human trafficking. At 6:30 PM tonight I will be near the Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts at 174 East Flagler Street, Miami, FL 33131. Please take a moment to stop and pray for the seven centers of  power i.e.; Government, Military, Media, Business, Education, Church and Family. Look for the American flag and the POW flag on a 15-foot flagpole with a sign that reads “Prayer Point- Stop and Pray for the USA.” Let’s keep our great country One Nation Under God! Amen.

By God, His Son and His Spirit we pray to seek Christ to lighten our burden of life. We pray we are always prepared to share His Truth with anyone, anytime and anywhere. We pray for Tim constantly. We pray for every child and parent. We pray for Bob and Mary Carter. We pray for a 12-year-old girl named Jessie with a brain tumor. We pray for each other- our families and friends. We pray for Prayer Point tonight to stir God’s feelings of love for a country in need. We pray for all Christian radio stations especially LIFE FM of South Florida. We pray for the Spirit to accept, bravery in God to change and intelligence of Christ’s Truth to know. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Speaking to crowds at length

Jesus stops and makes them think

If my burden is heavy and troubled?

Why not allow Him to carry us double?

Come to Me if labor is hard

Find my Truth in best regard

No burden too much for My strength

My yoke is easy with Eternal length

Learn from the Meek and Humble of Me

My Word will guide you to always see

A yoke that is easy and burdens light

In just the same way, it is not the Will of your Heavenly Father that one of these little ones be lost. Matthew 18:14

Isaiah 40:1-11, Psalm 96 & Matthew 18:12-14

God reminds us that we are to never forget the ones who sin and go astray for it His Will that all be forgiven by the Blood of His Son Christ Jesus. The Kingdom of Heaven is measured by not by some sort of rank and file like society but the meagerness of a childlike soul who is celebrated for repenting and finding the Truth in God’s Way of living. We are to conduct ourselves with fervent focus to make sure all children be given every opportunity to know the Truth of God’s Promise giving even the ones who sin endless opportunity to repent and find their way home.

Give yourself every opportunity too to live a life where the blessings of God’s grace will fall upon you in sharing the Truth you live. Study the Bible diligently making sure that no one misses out on the blessing of God by your faith, charity and love. A friend mentioned yesterday how she was taught to study the Bible because she pointed out many people take the Good Book, set it on a table, and never open it because they are intimidated by it. She encouraged reading the Bible in three sections beginning in Genesis, the Psalms and the Gospel. You will find by reading each a little each day you can see the transformation of God’s Plan for humanity and the Redemption Christ gave His life for our saving grace. I appreciate her insight and I always welcome people’s ideas and comments to grow in the LORD in mind, body and soul. Amen.

By God, His Son and His Spirit we pray to always welcome the lost little ones of God’s providence. We pray we always prepare our lives to share His Truth. We pray for Tim constantly. Romans 8:28

When His Truth Will Guide to Eternally Feed- Matthew 18:12-14

Jesus asked his disciples an opinion

Where one of a hundred sheep went astray

Does a man go after the one leaving the ninety-nine?

He will rejoice more over finding the one than all in kind

For God does not want any to be forgotten

All must have the opportunity to know His Truth

We must search for the lost child of His soul

Celebrating their repentance for Eternal Life to prove

For God’s Will is to find each and every one

Knowing they all have a life to gain and lead

Not one of His Sheep will lose their way

Wig’s Word of God Today 12-5-2011

Say to the fearful of heart: Be strong, do not fear! Here is your God, He comes with vindication; With Divine recompense He comes to save you. Isaiah 35:4

When He saw their faith, He said, “As for you, your sins are forgiven.” Luke 5:20

Isaiah 35:1-10, Psalm 85 & Luke 5:17-26

People sometimes ask me: How do you study the Bible? By taking a set time each day and reading His Word to better understand His Will in my life. However, as importantly, I study the Bible to make sure people who are looking for God will be able to see Him in me by my knowledge of His Truth in an active faith, active charity and active words. I take the time each day to rehearse His Word in silent active prayer. Every time you read the Bible you are praying aloud or internally which is heard and appreciated by our LORD and Savior.

I try and incorporate Bible reading in my daily routine as often as I can to practice, pray and preach. I find peace amongst His Living Word. If you follow my Scripture study daily, you will find an opportunity to better understand His Truth by your practice along with me and I dare to say you will find the ability to proclaim with unwavering confidence. You too will begin to see incredible things in your life and by your faith you will experience bringing someone to Christ allowing your Scripture study to be intensified and glorified for the love of God the Father. See your love of loving Him in active faith, active charity and active Word. Amen.

By God, His Son and His Spirit we pray to live in Your strength by our practice, prayer and proclamation. We pray for Tim constantly. We pray for every child and parent. We pray for Bob and Mary Carter. We pray for each other- our families and friends. We pray for Prayer Point. We pray for all Christian radio stations especially LIFE FM of South Florida. We pray for the Spirit to accept, bravery in God to change and intelligence of Christ’s Truth to know. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Wig’s Word of God Today 12-4-2011

He is patient with you, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9b

Isaiah 40:1-11, Psalm 85, 2 Peter 3:8-14 & Mark 1:1-8

I believe we all see patience and tolerance from the LORD in a hopeful anticipation that humanity will repent and find the Truth in living for His Will. Oh, He’s forgiving and charitable when it comes to our lack of obedience to His Word but He wants you to grow in Spiritual Awareness by living in repentance seeking growth in submission to sacred learning not scholarly advancement. His Light will go on as you grow in the LORD each second of every day by living His Will driving a better understanding when you simply read or listen to Scripture.

Living for the LORD doesn’t seem hard to people who incorporate God’s Word into their days constantly praising His attraction of life’s success. Take a look at your self and see where you are lacking this understanding to give your all to His Truth for your life. How does faith live out for you? Do you believe His Word is Sacred? How does prayer give you peace? When and why do you pray? Do you feel comfortable talking about God? Do you believe Christ died for your sins? God wants you to be devout and His sympathy allows us all to enjoy forgiveness by our admission to loving our love of His Son Christ Jesus. Amen!

I often tell a story I call a “Bible in a Car Accident” that I experienced some years ago two days after I left an Emmaus Retreat here in South Florida. With His Word held high over my head as I exited my car after being rear ended by an uninsured driver, the driver of the car thought I was going to throw the Bible at him placing his arms over his face saying “no, don’t hit me.” At that very moment I was yelling “praise God my Bible didn’t move and I’m Ok” reminds me how we all can be obedient even in the wildest of situations bringing God to the forefront of our decisions gaining Spiritual Awareness and growth in His Truth. Have Word will study as I travel mentality. Have God will Trust faith and pray. Know Christ will live forgiveness and charity to proclaim.

By God, His Son and His Spirit we pray to live in repentance showing all glory to You LORD. We pray for Tim constantly. We pray for schools to know Your Harmony (Oh Harmony). We pray for every child and parent. We pray for Bob and Mary Carter. We pray for Jhaysonn’s healing as the ninth day concludes knowing our prayers are steadfast every day. We pray for each other- our families and friends. We pray for Prayer Point. We pray for all Christian radio stations especially LIFE FM of South Florida. We pray for the Spirit to accept, bravery in God to change and intelligence of Christ’s Truth to know. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
