The LORD will give you bread in adversity and water in affliction. No longer will your Teacher hide Himself, but with your own eyes you shall see your Teacher. Isaiah 30:20

Wig’s Word of God Today 12-3-2011

The LORD will give you bread in adversity and water in affliction. No longer will your Teacher hide Himself, but with your own eyes you shall see your Teacher. Isaiah 30:20

Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give. Matthew 10:8e

Isaiah 30:19-26, Psalm 147 & Matthew 9:35-10:1-8

Last night my wife and I spent time in Adoration praying together and reading the Bible as I was preparing myself to write poetry about Genesis 1:34 asking God’s Spirit to lead me to a better understanding of His Word. There I was alone with God and His Word and His Truth was feeding me the bread I need during the adversity and affliction of writing poetic versus to Our LORD and Savior and The Father to give them pleasure I will be sharing with the world one day. The pursuit of poetry worthy to be read by the Father of all is lead by the Spirit of Truth He seethes into my being each and every moment of every day. Never alone but guided by the Spirit of holiness.

What God has hidden in what people will say is He not showing His face, has been poured out to us in every microscopic detail of our lives. Since becoming a teacher, one thing I’ve noticed is we are never alone in this world because God is in everything around us. To the quiet times of a class to the awe of excited learning coming from multiple child hearts of God, He is in everything we do living in the five senses to share His Spirit with us to give us absolute awe.

The amazement of fire’s burning embers as the heat warms your face before burning you and causing tremendous pain. Look for God in your love of music and the sounds of a child’s laugh. Make some homemade ice cream and share a flavor with a kid conversation tasting and hearing the properties of God’s Creation. Bake some fresh bread or find a sweet smelling rose to know that in your heart God is amazing by the smells of His Truth. In all of these things and your total life will be made of His Presence by living faith, praying earnestly and talking about God to experience the purpose of living His Will. Amen

By God, His Son and His Spirit we pray to Trust You LORD in every affliction and adversity. We pray to surrender to Your Truth. We pray for Tim constantly. We pray for the babies being lost to abortion. We pray for every child and parent. We pray for Bob and Mary Carter. We pray for Jhaysonn’s healing. We pray for each other- our families and friends. We pray for Prayer Point. We pray for all Christian radio stations especially LIFE FM of South Florida. We pray for the Spirit to accept, bravery in God to change and intelligence of Christ’s Truth to know. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I believe I shall see the LORD’s goodness in the land of the living. Psalm 27:13

Wig’s Word of God Today 12-2-2011

I believe I shall see the LORD’s goodness in the land of the living. Psalm 27:13

Isaiah 29:17-24, Psalm 27 & Matthew 9:27-31

I watched a movie the other day about a saint’s life who displayed immediate goodness when replying to anyone he met. As he walked along with no shoes on his feet and no money his pockets, he would ask people he encountered for some food and when he was turned down, he would always answer with “oh thank you, please enjoy your meal.” There wasn’t a hint of spite in his voice or jealously, just pure open love and concern for anyone.

His love of the LORD displayed Psalm 27’s message of seeing the LORD’s goodness in the land of the living and I often wonder can I live my life in such humble servitude. I pray every day that I am living the Will of God in all things seeking not to have fame and fortune but to live in faith, charity and love. I want to avoid gossip and live simply asking the LORD to use me in His Way and not my own. God has a way of showing me His Goodness in the land of the living for in my heart I share my love of loving His Son. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to find Your Goodness in all aspects of life. We pray we can share the Truth with the people in need. We continue our nine days of praying for Jhaysonn as we ask You LORD on day seven to guide his will to honor Your Truth and be healed by his faith in You. We pray for my uncle recovering from open-heart surgery.

We pray for the children of the world and their parents and teachers. We pray for our Nation and Prayer Point as we pray for the USA. We pray for LIFE FM to be God’s voice in South Florida. We pray for the Spirit to guide our peacefulness to accept the things we cannot change, bravery in God to change the things we can, and intelligence of Christ’s Truth to know the difference. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Trust in the LORD forever! For the LORD is an Eternal Rock. Isaiah 26:4

Wig’s Word of God Today 12-1-2011

Trust in the LORD forever! For the LORD is an Eternal Rock.

Isaiah 26:4

Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only the one who does the Will of My Father in Heaven. Matthew 7:21

Isaiah 26:1-6, Psalm 118 & Matthew 7:21, 24-27

Are you willing to empty yourself completely and do the Will of God in every aspect of your life? Mankind has a difficult time to let go and let God. We may say to ourselves, “God doesn’t really expect that of me, does He?” But I assure He does. He expects us to give every ounce of our life’s desires to His Purpose- His Will. I have to think that this is what Christ meant in Matthew 10:34 when He taught us by saying, “Do not think that I have come to bring peace upon the earth. I have come to bring not peace but the sword.” We fight against the desire of God to empty ourselves completely taking on His Grace in faith, charity and love. We truly have to let go and let God.

In His Truth we find Eternity. In our Trust we find peace. Only God can give us this feeling of safety in the midst of uncertainty. No matter what happens in your life, there is the Eternal Rock of Christ Who will guide us to know this communion He asks us to live in Him as He is in us. It is instantaneously given when we surrender to His Way in every aspect of our lives. When we perfect the Spirit of Christ in our hearts, we do more than imitate Him, we allow His Truth, His Qualities and His Love to be demonstrated in every facet of our existence. Our love of loving Christ Jesus is our sign of practice, prayer and proclamation we accomplish for the Glory of God the Father. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today we live for Your Will LORD. We pray we build our house on Your Eternal Rock of Truth. We say a prayer of recovery for my uncle’s successful open heart surgery. We pray for Your strength to be given to a friend who needs guidance to conquer addiction. We are on day six of our nine days of praying for Jhaysonn’s miracle treatment to heal him completely LORD.

We pray for the children of the world and their parents and teachers. We pray for our Nation and the success of Prayer Point to stop and pray for the USA. We pray for LIFE FM to be God’s voice in South Florida. We pray for the Spirit to guide our peacefulness to accept the things we cannot change, bravery in God to change the things we can, and intelligence of Christ’s Truth to know the difference. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved. Romans 10:10

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-30-2011

For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved. Romans 10:10

Romans 10:9-18, Psalm 19 & Matthew 4:18-22

You can rest assured in the belief you have in your heart what you confess with your mouth in loving your love of Christ Jesus that your life has new meaning, a new beginning and a new confidence in the Truth established in His Word to live for joy promised with Eternal Life. Yes, we have been saved from Eternal Torment by our confession that Jesus is LORD and Savior of every aspect of our lives and by His Truth we are guided to live in faith, charity and love. “For the scripture says, “No one who believes in Him will be put to shame.” Romans 10:11

Enjoy what Paul has to say to us of those who do believe and conquer because of His Name. “For everyone who calls on the Name of the LORD will be saved. But how can they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to preach? And how can people preach unless they are sent?

As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring [the] Good News!” But not everyone has heeded the Good News; for Isaiah says, “LORD, who has believed what was heard from us?” Thus faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the Word of Christ. But I ask, did they not hear? Certainly they did; for “Their voice has gone forth to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.” Romans 10:13-18

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to be a vessel for which You are presented to those who need to hear Your Son’s Truth. May His Name be on our lips to conquer fear, despair and provide hope for the weary at heart. We say a prayer of thanksgiving for my uncle’s successful open heart surgery. We pray for the strength to be given to a friend who needs guidance to conquer addiction. We are on day five of our nine days of praying for Jhaysonn’s miracle treatment to heal him completely LORD. I give You praise, Father, LORD of heaven and earth, for although You have hidden these things from the wise and the learned You have revealed them to the childlike. Luke 10:21b

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-29-2011

I give You praise, Father, LORD of heaven and earth, for although You have hidden these things from the wise and the learned You have revealed them to the childlike. Luke 10:21b

Isaiah 11:1-10, Psalm 72 & Luke 10:21-24

In today’s world, there is a secular portion of society that will always state the opposite of what God has intended for the world because they want us to believe selfish needs rise above the rest of society’s goals of faith, charity and love. God-fearing people don’t claim to be the smartest, they live a life of revealing love in Christ to accomplish living without fear or indulgences and pray for those in the world who are uppity and conceited.

I see the language of God in babies and children when they talk for while we don’t understand the words they graciously say in gaga goo-goo, the LORD rejoices when He hears and sees their joy of living in the sounds coming from their hearts. I remember as a child one of my aunts saying as her son gaga goo-goo at her as she read Scripture to my young cousin, “he’s talking to God, for even if we can’t understand his words, God understand his words and his heart.”

This aunt is my Aunt Mary who is struggling with Alzheimer’s today and her husband my Uncle Bob who is scheduled for triple bypass this morning in Jacksonville, Florida. A couple who were always stout Christians who loved the LORD and shared His Truth with anyone they could around them. I ask you please take a moment and pray for them both as they struggle with God’s Will in their lives. A mother who now talks like a child but is understood by our Father. A father who will go under the knife today to repair a broken heart who has a heart of Christ. God bless them both. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to always be childlike in our love of You and Your Son Jesus. We pray for my Uncle Bob Carter who needs Your Healing Hands today in Jacksonville as he has open heart surgery. We are on day four of our nine days of praying for Jhaysonn’s miracle treatment asking Your Healing Hands to lift him into a complete cure. Amen.

Lord, I am not worthy to have You enter under my roof; only say the word and my servant will be healed. Matthew 8:8

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-28-2011

Lord, I am not worthy to have You enter under my roof; only say the word and my servant will be healed. Matthew 8:8

Isaiah 2:1-5, Psalm 122 & Matthew 8:5-11

There were many people in Christ’s Gospel who believed the words of Jesus but none as faithful as the Centurion who describes his position and faith in replying to Christ when Jesus said He would come and heal his sick servant. I can only imagine how much he loved his servant, so much so he was willing to approach the Christ in public asking for his assistance in healing him from a far. His faith in Jesus’ mere words is strong enough to find favor from Christ and his servant is healed immediately. We find this need in our world today of trusting in the LORD’s Word above all else seeking a daily communion with His Truth in faith, charity and deed.

Each and every morning when I open my Bible, I find such a comfort in knowing the Truth about living that I am compelled to refer to the Word of God often during the day to reflect on all issues of my life where prayer in His Word gives me hope to solve any situation. Many of you might feel that you are not worthy to have Jesus enter under your roof but I’m here to remind you that God’s Only Son embraces and forgives all humanity. In your love of loving Him, welcome Him into your home, your work and your heart and believe He will solve any situation. His love will cure any sickness, addiction and heartache. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to always feel worthy to have Your Son a part of our lives in any situation. We pray we have faith as strong as the Centurion to live life in Truth. We are on day three of our nine days of praying for Jhaysonn’s miracle treatment asking Your Healing Hands to lift him into a complete cure. We pray for Over the Rhine to help people find Your Word in their lives. Amen.

God is faithful, and by Him you were called to fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our LORD. 1 Corinthians 1:9

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-27-2011

God is faithful, and by Him you were called to fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our LORD. 1 Corinthians 1:9

Isaiah 63:16-19, 64:2-7, Psalm 80, 1 Corinthians 1:3-9 & Mark 13:33-37

When you believe with all your heart and soul you are called by the Will of God, your life will take on a new meaning to accomplish living in communion with God’s Truth. You may have started out your vision of how your relationship will grow in God having a clear picture of it but you haven’t achieved it yet because God’s growth of any soul is a life-long commitment. Be prepared to go through trials and tribulations but hold fast to the Truth of Christ where your relationship will lead you to Him.

You may even begin to question God’s purpose for going through this or that but He has reason and a Divine Plan for all of us. You can’t relax and expect the memory of your surrendered relationship with Christ to suddenly appear. You must be proactive in your study of His Word constantly praying to live in His Will to accomplish an open dialogue with the people you meet to proclaim the Good News in confidence. Believe me, God knows each and every moment you live and He’ll guide you to be His Steward of Truth. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to live in a fellowship with Christ Almighty. May our lives represent His Truth. We are on day two of our nine days of praying for Jhaysonn’s miracle cure asking Your Healing Hands to lift him into a complete cure. We pray for the children of the world and their parents and teachers. We pray for our Nation and the success of Prayer Point to stop and pray for the USA. Be vigilant at all times and pray that you have the strength to escape the tribulations that are imminent and to stand before the Son of Man. Luke 21:36

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-26-2011

Be vigilant at all times and pray that you have the strength to escape the tribulations that are imminent and to stand before the Son of Man. Luke 21:36

Daniel 7:15-27 & Luke 21:34-36

There were nights when I was a child that my father would come home so plastered from drinking he would do things he wouldn’t remember the next day or ever because of the amount of alcohol he drank. Many of these times my dad would drag us out of bed and make us clean our room with a belt flailing or I would be awakened by my sister who would huddle with my brother and I in a trembling fear. I remember saying many times “God please stop him” as the fighting would escalate to my mom taking us kids out of the house as fast as she could.

I am reminded of these times today as Jesus warns humanity to take caution in forgetting about God and His Commandments for those who drink to excess and lose respect for their loved ones will be left behind in Christ’s Second Coming. “Beware that your hearts do not become drowsy from carousing and drunkenness and the anxieties of daily life, and that day catch you by surprise like a trap. For that day will assault everyone who lives on the face of the earth.” Luke 21:34-35 My life has led me to be vigilant at all times. I am thankful to God for His Son’s Redemption and I pray anyone who joins me in my Scripture study is as vigilant as I am. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today we are vigilant at all times to be ready for Your Call at a moments notice. We pray today for Your Miracle to heal Jhaysonn Pathak who had a relapse of Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. Luke 21:33

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-25-2011

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. Luke 21:33

Daniel 7:2-14 & Luke 21:29-33

Once you begin to become conscious of God in every aspect of your life, you see His miracles in the hardest moments and the joyful of times. Every decision you make is made with God in mind to live in His Word creating calm in the roughest waters of your life. Words that will never pass away from God Who will never pass away. You will learn to imitate His peacefulness, His Wisdom and His Truth by making the Words of Life a part of your every day existence.

As I looked at a telescope picture of our universe this morning, I peered at such vastness of how big God really is. He tells us heaven and earth will pass away but the enormity of His Universe seems to shadow the things of this life to me. We all seem to agree that God is in control and it is He Who judges the actions or beliefs of others. In His Words I find comfort to avoid the sins of the world seeking faith, charity and love. Active in my thoughts, words and deeds for His Glory. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray for the strength to guide our lives by Your Words. We pray for our Nation as we seek to live the freedoms our Founding Fathers designed with You in mind LORD. We pray for the children of the world and their parents and teachers. We pray for our Nation and the success of Prayer Point to stop and pray for the USA. We pray for LIFE FM to be God’s voice in South Florida. We pray for Tim Deegan to live: We pray for the Spirit to guide our peacefulness to accept the things we cannot change, bravery in God to change the things we can, and intelligence of Christ’s Truth to know the difference. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

He is the Living God, enduring forever, Whose kingdom shall not be destroyed, Whose dominion shall be without end. Daniel 6:27

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-24-2011

I decree that throughout my royal domain the God of Daniel is to be reverenced and feared: For He is the Living God, enduring forever, Whose kingdom shall not be destroyed, Whose dominion shall be without end. Daniel 6:27

Daniel 6:12-28 & Luke 21:20-28

I see it as no coincidence I am studying Daniel on Thanksgiving Day 2011. Our One and Only God of heaven and earth has a way of talking to humanity through Scripture in our current times as reflected in Daniel chapter six when Daniel faces a tough decision. A similar decision we as humanity have to make in today. Just like Daniel, we have to stand up and fear nothing to love our God above all powers, people or government.

The prohibition issued by King Darius during the life of Daniel prohibiting anyone from making petitions, prayer and devotion to no one but the king or would be casted into the lions den was not enough to keep Daniel from praying to the God Without End. As so the religious freedom the Pilgrims celebrated almost 400 years ago as our first Thanksgiving was the spark that led to the freedom you and I enjoy today. The freedom to worship the One and Only True God. Our little Pilgrims wouldn’t agree to worship God the way the King of England said and our lives now enjoy freedoms beyond the boundaries of living in a land wrecked with religious restrictions.

So today my friends, I pray we reach out together and take action in our times as Daniel and the Pilgrims did so many years ago. They each loved their God beyond constraint trusting and building lives of faith, charity and love. Daniel trusted God so much he walked out of a lions den unscathed. The Pilgrims trusted God so much they allowed a complete Indian stranger to teach them to survive allowing God to direct them to our present day discourse of religious persecution. America stood as a Fertile Land of God and our Founding Fathers built a Constitution to allow anyone the opportunity to worship any God without fear of persecution or death if living in the Land of the Free.

Will the world’s religions ever truly come together without insults, physical harm or death worries to be a world of love in freedoms beyond the boundaries of living? In America we value this belief and uphold it purposes seeking to understand how we can live up to such world desire of Truth. I am eager to say we are to practice, pray and preach to share the love of God in all ways imaginable. We should be proactive in our efforts to love anyone, anytime and anywhere mentality to live in forgiveness, tolerance and devotion to progressing humanity with God’s Divine Plan. May all Thanksgivings remind us to forgive beyond measure, tolerate diversity and devote our energies to God’s forgiving love. Happy Thanksgiving to each and everyone.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today we may understand Your Will to establish binding Trust in Your Word. We pray everyone is thankful for the blessings You LORD bestow. May we learn to accept Your Will in any circumstance and celebrate the outcome with peace and tranquility. We pray for the USA today as we celebrate our religious freedoms on Thanksgiving Day 2011. Amen.

God Bless His Truth for America,

Romans 8:28

Spirit led God inspired Christ fed

Trust is our Guide to be the Land of the Free- Daniel 6

Happy Thanksgiving

Daniel prayed in open each day

To the God we know is Truth to stay

Unafraid of the Lion’s mouth

King Darius decreed he’d never come out

Daniel knew he couldn’t worship two

Only One God in the eyes of the Eternal You

For He made heaven and earth

The king decreed showing Daniel’s worth

The Pilgrims loved God the same way

Following Daniel in the Good Book to stay

Serving Him with all of their might

Coming to a land unknown to only God’s plight

Trust became their center of theme

God would guide them to Eternal Pristine

As today we celebrate the moment of need

Trust is our Guide to be the Land of the Free
