Do you ever feel you are at a loss for words when speaking about the good things God brings to your life? Not knowing what to say is indication you are not giving your all to God for if you were there would not be the slightest hesitation when speaking about the love of Jesus Christ. I know, many of you might think you’re not a natural born speaker, right? In the joy of seeking a relationship with God and His Son’s Truth, one becomes acquainted with the Holy Spirit of God Who dwells in us all and will manifest His Truth in Your soul by your practice, prayer and proclamation.

You have to read your Bible to gain God’s wisdom in practice to live by His Word every second of every day. There is many a person who can quote Scripture but God wants you live His Word not memorize each and every verse. You have to pray about everything you do in life. Once God is your habit, you will find yourself saying prayers aloud in every place imaginable. This practice and prayer leads you to purposely talking about God and His Son to anyone, anywhere and anytime. Your proclamation becomes the life you live for the Glory of God the Father. Jesus Himself by the Power of the Holy Spirit will “give you a wisdom in speaking that all your adversaries will be powerless to resist or refute.” Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to practice, pray and proclaim Your Truth by the wisdom drenching our soul through the Holy Spirit of You LORD. We pray for the children of the world and their parents and teachers. We pray for our Nation and the success of Prayer Point to stop and pray for the USA. We pray for LIFE FM to be God’s voice in South Florida. We pray for the Spirit to guide our peacefulness to accept the things we cannot change, bravery in God to change the things we can, and intelligence of Christ’s Truth to know the difference. Teacher, when will this happen? And what sign will there be when all these things are about to happen? Luke 21:7

Daniel 2:31-45 & Luke 21:5-11

Many Christian Scholars believe Luke was sharing with people of faith to maintain the love of Christ’s Teachings on a day-to-day basis focusing on the love and direction of God’s Word in everyday life to avoid evil. I believe all of mankind would like to know when the Second Coming of Christ will be so they can be prepared completely but God instructs us to be a people who are ready at a moments notice. There is many a sermon now-a-days that focuses on the Second Coming trying to predict when God will come and swoop His Mighty Arm and eliminate the needless sinful humans of the world. Some may point to the destruction in different parts of the world as a Divine Sign from Heaven above but I say follow the Word of God by example in living and understand good-naturedly what God is asking you to do in living by faith, charity and love.

Be a sign for people to know His Truth by what you wear, what you live and the people you surround yourself with for His Glory. Allow this sign of your love of loving Christ Jesus to be an example for people to know they can ask questions of how they can find faith in His Truth, how charity can be accomplished and how to live life in love for the Glory of the Father. Sunday morning when I was in Gainesville having breakfast with my wife and son, a man walked over to me in the parking lot as we were leaving and asked for some help. As we talked and prayed by his car with his wife after giving them some breakfast, he told me my Emmaus shirt I was wearing drew him to me. I responded as I hugged him tightly saying, “God is more than a shirt you see. He is the life you can lead.”

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today we are always ready to go at a moments notice never being afraid of where You LORD will take us. We pray LORD for the people of the world who are in need and are seeking the Truth You have for us to follow in Your Word. We pray today for the children of the world and the people drawn to teach them Your love. We pray for LIFE FM to be God’s voice in South Florida. We pray for Prayer Point to draw people to pray for our great country. We pray for the Spirit to guide our peacefulness to accept the things we cannot change, bravery in God to change the things we can, and intelligence of Christ’s Truth to know the difference. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

People spoke how the Temple was adorned

By stones and votives that seemed to be the norm

Jesus noted all you see here will one day be gone

No stone left unturned all being thrown down

Each wanted to know when this will happen

Teacher can you share the time and the date?

Will there be a sign to allow us to relate?

Do not be deceived by false sayings they will state

Many will be saying I am he and the time has come

You will see nation rise against nation and son against son

My wife was reading excerpts from a book about Mother Theresa the other day and she said something that struck a cord with me as I listened. She read a part about how a wealthy people had asked how they could do more in giving and Mother Theresa told them the next time they buy a suit or a silk scarf they should buy one that is less expensive and give the rest to the poor. When you give until it hurts, then you are giving a part of your livelihood that doesn’t go unnoticed by God.

Since this is the week of Thanksgiving, I’m sending out a challenge to my friends and lovers of God’s Truth to look for something you can do this week that gives until it hurts. Maybe you’ll tell a homeless person you’ll bring them a plate of food on Thanksgiving or offer to buy them a hotel room for the night to give them a warm shower. Maybe you’ll share a pie with them you baked from scratch. Maybe you’ll travel around your home and look for people who are in need and give them some fresh clothes. When you love your love of Christ, giving until it hurts feels so good for you are doing it all for the Glory of God. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today we can offer the livelihood of our lives’ to share Your Truth. We pray for Roberto Soriano and his needs to be blessed by You LORD. We pray for Prayer Points to give people hope for God’s Truth. We pray for LIFE FM and the DJ’s who bring their flare for Your Gospel to the radio waves of Miami. We pray for the children of the world and the people who teach them Your love. We pray LORD for the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, courage to change the things we can, and wisdom to know the difference. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

A Widow Who Trusts the LORD with Her All- Luke 21:1-4

Jesus watched the wealthy add their tithe

The plate was ringing with their sinful little lies

As the poor widow added all she learned to hide

Giving her livelihood before God’s tearful eyes

‘I tell you truly’ Christ said to confess

This poor widow gave more than all the rest

Not making tithes from a surplus of wealth

Giving her all absolutely forgoing her health

She made her offerings from her poverty to tell

How much she loves the LORD to avoid going to hell

Her livelihood was given the pains of giving in awe

People often ask me how I managed to engulf my life with the Gospel of Christ Jesus to successfully become a Teacher of His Children after years of selfishness and sin. Today’s Gospel of Matthew describes how and that’s by doing all I can for the people of the world in need of God’s Truth. We must all take the time to separate ourselves from life’s struggles daily and get closer to God in practice, prayer and proclamation to give our all to His Truth in living for His Glory. Each step of life must include habit forming rituals to live in a relationship with God’s Only Son by reading your Bible every day, praying over everything you do for His Magnificence and proclaim His Truth to the people of the world around you with every step you take. You must purposely look for people to share God’s Plan with from the richest to the poorest helping God’s Divine Plan for your life. You must look to live His Will not being afraid of failure but embracing how to learn the new desires of life by seeking the company of Christ’s faces in humanity.

Today I am specifically writing to a friend to say I believe in you and I love you for who you are not what society wants you to be. Over the years you have always been the kindest man I’ve ever known but lost in Satan’s lies of greed, lust and lies. In your struggles with life’s decisions, you have let the outside influences of selfish sexual lust, alcohol and drug addictions to direct your life. Today and every day from this point on I am asking you to follow a simple but beautiful way of taking back your life. First, read your Bible and pray every single day. Let His Name be the first thing you say every morning when you awake and be the last before you go to sleep. Read your Bible often and look for a Bible study class to live the Word of God. Seek a Spiritual Advisor. Hopefully this will be someone who can share with you the Spiritual insights of God’s Plan for your life. Remember: you are who you surround yourself with.

Satan has dug the hell holes of life in every corner of the world. If you want to avoid falling into them, you must carry Christ’s Truth in your mind in every thought and joy. Associate living with His Word and surround yourself with people of God. Once you see every step of your life as His faith, charity and love, then you’ll find the courage to be everything God wants you to be for the celebration of Truth. The courage to be silent to acquaint your heart and soul with God’s Splendor. The courage to give to people unknown without the fanfare of praise. The courage to walk over Satan’s holes and glide right by in the Glory of God the Father Who will lift the soles of your feet to securely share His Truth throughout the world. His Miracles happen every day. God has something in store for you- for us all by our surrender. Hold your hands up with me today and surrender. Raise your hands everyday in praise. He is your Savior. His is our King. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to always feed when we have too much. We pray to give water to those who are thirsty. We pray we can clothe the naked in Your Name. We pray for Prayer Points as we begin to ask Your people to pray with me for our great country. We pray for LIFE FM as they continue to share Your Gospel on the radio waves of Miami. We pray for the children of the world and the people who teach them Your love. We pray a prayer of thanksgiving for my friend Tim D who opened his heart to my family. My prayers for you are steadfast to find His Plan above. We pray LORD for the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, courage to change the things we can, and wisdom to know the difference. It is He Who judges the world with justice, Who judges the peoples with fairness. Psalm 9:9

They can no longer die, for they are like angels; and they are the children of God because they are the ones who will rise. Luke 20:36

Psalm 9 & Luke 20:27-40

Today in Luke, the Sadducees’ question is based on the law of levirate marriage recorded in Deuteronomy 25:5–10, which ridicules the idea of the resurrection. Jesus rejects their naive understanding of the resurrection and then argues on behalf of the resurrection of the dead on the basis of the written law that the Sadducees accept. Because they are the ones who will rise: literally, “being sons of the resurrection.” After successfully answering the three questions of His opponents, Jesus now asks them a question. Their inability to respond implies that they have forfeited their position and authority as the religious leaders of the people because they do not understand the scriptures. This series of controversies between the religious leadership of Jerusalem and Jesus reveals Jesus as the Authoritative Teacher whose words are to be listened to and acted upon accordingly.

Today I’d like to pay tribute to someone who has taught me everything I know about honesty and hard work. This person has a heart filled with God’s Truth for I have never heard an intentional lie come from their soul. They have has taught me to take care of my heart by looking at life with Truth, patience and love. They have given me the opportunity to share my feelings, disappointments and dreams. In brevity today I write of my love for a person whose heart glows in Truth for God and displayed courage for me to follow as an example for my entire life. No amount of words can truly describe how I feel for this person. With all my heart and soul I say Happy Birthday to my mother Betty Jean Carter Wiggins Pitts. I love you and I know God is proud of you!

So we ask in prayer: We pray today LORD as I do everyday for my mother Betty Pitts and her birthday. Give her Your strength to live in Your Will. We pray we are seeking Your Truth in very aspect of our lives to live in faith, charity and love. We pray for Prayer Points and we thank You LORD for helping me to have sign ready now for next week. We pray for LIFE FM and the DJ’s who bring their flare for Your Gospel to the radio waves of Miami. We pray for the children of the world and the people who teach them Your love. It is written, ‘My house shall be a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves.’ Luke 19:46

Luke 19:45-48

As Jesus entered Jerusalem, He fulfilled the prophesy of Malachi in cleaning up the Temple area before teaching the children of Israel the Truth of God the Father sharing the covenant of love. Malachi 3:1-3 states: “Now I am sending my messenger—He will prepare the way before me; And the LORD whom you seek will come suddenly to His Temple; The messenger of the Covenant whom you desire— see, He is coming! says the LORD of hosts. But who can endure the day of His coming? Who can stand firm when He appears? For He will be like a refiner’s fire, like fullers’ lye. He will sit refining and purifying silver, and He will purify the Levites, Refining them like gold or silver, that they may bring offerings to the LORD in righteousness.”

The LORD is telling us to come before Him clean to worship Him with a pure heart able to open your soul to find His Truth there to live by. I think many of us are in need of a good spiritual cleaning to give ourselves every opportunity to serve God instead of the everyday things of life we are consumed with living. The LORD is asking us to live in the surrender of faith, charity and love to be the eyes and hands of His Son’s Gospel. What’s amazing about our Redeemer is He came to Jerusalem knowing He would face death as He sat amongst them teaching the Way of the LORD. The same people whom He taught and prayed with would soon line the streets and spit in His face and lash out at Him as He carried the Cross of Redemption to die and rise again. What’s consuming you today that prohibits an absolute surrender to God’s Son of Truth? Is your love of loving Him complete in faith, charity and love? Are you spitting in His Christ’s face?

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to keep a clean heart as we worship You to find peace in our lives. We pray we are seeking Your Truth in very aspect of our lives to live in faith, charity and love. We pray for the children of the world and the people who teach them Your love. We pray for my Kairos Prison Ministry Team as they enter the prison today to share God’s Truth. We pray LORD for the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, courage to change the things we can, and wisdom to know the difference. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Psalm 50 & Luke 19:41-44

When I write about the Trinity, I always capitalize the beginning letter of all known uses of God’s Name. Maybe some of you have notice this in my discernments but I do this to emphasize His Kingship over the entire Universe. As I continue to translate from beginning to end the Bible into poetry, I am finding the different Names His messengers gave God was given by His own Penmanship of Truth. The One and Only Who makes for peace anywhere, anytime and anyplace. In Luke today, we find that Jesus was saddened by His entrance into the city that had lost its touch with God’s Truth rejecting Him as Savior of the world. We know in the end that His Kingship would last all Eternity as He was made out to be a lunatic Who was killed for sharing love, performing miracles and saving the world from sin.

The Name of God means many things but in my heart every Name ever used exemplifies faith, charity and love given to Humanity to find Truth in living. Here are just a few and their meanings from the Old Testament. ELOHIM……Genesis 1:1, Psalm 19:1 meaning “God,” a reference to God’s power and might. ADONAI……Malachi 1:6 meaning “Lord,” a reference to the Lordship of God. JEHOVAH–YAHWEH…..Genesis 2:4 a reference to God’s Divine Salvation. JEHOVAH-MACCADDESHEM……Exodus 31:13 meaning “The Lord Thy Sanctifier” JEHOVAH-ROHI……Psalm 23:1 meaning “The Lord my Shepherd.” JEHOVAH-SHAMMAH…. Ezekiel 48:35 meaning “The Lord who is Present.” JEHOVAH-RAPHA………Exodus 15:26 meaning “The Lord our Healer.” JEHOVAH-TSIDKENU……Jeremiah 23:6 meaning “The Lord our Righteousness.” JEHOVAH-JIREH………Genesis 22:13-14 meaning “The Lord will Provide.” JEHOVAH-NISSI………Exodus 17:15 meaning “The Lord our Banner.” JEHOVAH-SHALOM……..Judges 6:24 meaning “The Lord is Peace” JEHOVAH-SABBAOTH…… Isaiah 6:1-3 meaning “The Lord of Hosts.” JEHOVAH-GMOLAH……..Jeremiah 51:6 meaning “The God of Recompense.” EL-ELYON….. Genesis 14:17-20, Isaiah 14:13-14 meaning “The most high God.” EL-ROI…. Genesis 16:13 meaning “The strong One who sees.” EL-SHADDAI…………Genesis 17:1, Psalm 91:1 meaning “The God of the mountains or God Almighty.” EL-OLAM …..Isaiah 40:28-31 meaning “The Everlasting God.” What does the Name of God mean to you? Call upon Him to find True peace in your life. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to always know Your Name means True Peace for all humanity. We pray today for the recovery of Tom Endter. We pray for the children of the world. We pray for Prayer Points and the sign maker who lost her grandmother Tuesday. We pray LORD for the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, courage to change the things we can, and wisdom to know the difference. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Jesus was saddened the day Jerusalem came into sight

As He walked He prayed aloud they knew what was Right

Peace has escaped them because they are selfish and doomed

If they only knew the days are coming the Visitation loomed

The enemies of God’s Truth will rise and encircle you all

They will smash you to the ground even the children will fall

No stone will be left unturned as the unguided begin to crawl

God has kept the righteous glowing for the Visitation of All

Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings. Psalm 17:8

Psalm 17 & Luke 19:11-28

When we seek protection from the LORD, we have an understanding of what it means to be called a prayer warrior for His Truth. We know that God’s Protection is a joy of surrender to His Son’s Way of life by our practice, prayer and proclamation. Many people have a hard time understanding why our faith can be so strong in the midst of such adversity. Satan wants you to feel as if you have gained the whole world when in fact he’s stealing your Promise from your grasp by his selfish ways of evil turmoil. We know God will challenge us and keep us His Servant by adhering to the Truth of His Word.

God knows we will falter for we only human submitting to the drip of Satan’s honey of greed and lust. God’s Way directs you away from this lustful sin fulfilling your every desire of faith, charity and love. Be not afraid to fall for He will catch you in His Eternal embrace of love. Your life may be challenging but the reward of commitment comes from prayer in His Word. You can defend anything you encounter by God’s Truth. Rebuke the ways of Satan by carrying your Bible with you by your side. Don’t be afraid to open It often during the day reading aloud to soothe your mind, heart and soul. He too will keep you as the apple of His Eye hidden in the strength and security of His Eternal Wings of Truth. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we call out to You praying we are always the apple of Your Eye. We pray LORD we can be faithful servants seeking only to gain knowledge of Your Way by our faith in Your Word through practice, prayer and proclamation. We pray today for Tom Endter who is having neck and back surgery. We pray for the Prayer Points sign to be completed today so I may be a beacon for Your Truth. We pray for LIFE FM as they share Your Truth. We pray for the children of the world. We pray for my brother Chris Wiggins who celebrates his 48^th birthday today. We pray LORD for the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-15-2011

Salvation is from the LORD! May Your blessing be upon Your people! Psalm 3:9

For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save what was lost.

Luke 19:10

Psalm 3 & Luke 19:1:10

Today marks a very important first step in the lives of many people who accept the Salvation of the LORD Jesus Christ to become His people of mercy. Many of these people will believe in their heart and soul that they are not worthy but His Redemption reaches all peoples and He expects you to come as you are not hiding any faults for His knowledge reaches into the depths of your soul and will conquer all fears and transgressions. It is a time of rejoicing for those who get down on their knees and pray a short and simple prayer: Dear LORD, I pray to acknowledge Your Son as my Savior and I believe He died and Rose again for my sins. I repent of my sins and seek His Truth to guide me in Word and in Deed. I am sorry LORD. Please forgive me. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

Previously I have been writing about a new ministry I am beginning this week from a calling from God to help people everywhere to reach out and pray for our great country. For the next year or as long as God calls me to accomplish this, I will be establishing Prayer Points around Miami to ask people to pray for the seven centers of power, which are Government, Military, Media, Business, Education, Church and Family. Today I will be located in front of Calvary Chapel Kendall along 117^th Ave from 5 to 6 PM. I invite you to look for the 15 foot flag pole with an America Flag and a POW flag with a sign that reads “Prayer Point- stop and pray for the USA” to actively stop and pray for our great country. Honk, wave but more importantly, stop and pray for the USA. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to call out to You for forgiveness. We pray for the lost who will see Your Son in our eyes today. We conclude our nine days of open prayer but continue our daily prayers for Andy Nezbith to receive the donor he needs for a new kidney. We pray for a friend of a friend named Kyle who has leukemia. We pray for a young boy named Christian who is battling brain tumors. We pray for the children of the world. We pray for Prayer Points today as a beginning for people everywhere to be thankful to Your mercy. We pray for LIFE FM and its ability to reach countless people to share Your Son’s Gospel. We pray this in the Name of Christ Jesus. Amen.

Psalm 119 & Luke 18:35-43

Many of the world have gone through transitions in life beginning with growing up in selfish acts of sin to finding they need more by way of the Truth told in Christ. This change may be based upon that lost feeling we all have when God seems absent yet sustains our very reason for living. The blind man asking Jesus for his sight is not unlike many of humanity seeking the LORD and calling out to him in the middle of the night to answer life’s questions or in times of trouble to find He has always been right next to you in every situation of celebration to chaos. We are lost without God and the only way we can find ourselves is through periods of solitude and self-awareness.

I used to think that I had to have numerous people around me to find comfort and direction. Sometimes I would even talk to a complete stranger about life decisions not understanding what a pastor once told me that I need to be by myself to find God in every thought and feeling I have. For some reason many a person feels they have to have people all around them to find peace yet they are seeking advice from the lost and weary at heart that have no idea the composition of your heart and soul as God surely does. The blind man’s faith healed his eyes to behold the Truth amidst him. Are you a person of faith who can seek God in solitude to believe He can heal and direct you for His Glory? Seek solitude and ask God to give you the things you need by loving your love of Christ Jesus. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to find courage to be alone to ask You LORD for wisdom and healing. We continue our prayers of healing for Andy Nezbith to receive the donor he needs for a new kidney. We pray for a friend of a friend named Kyle who has leukemia. We pray for a young boy named Christian who is battling brain tumors. We pray for the children of the world. We pray for Prayer Points and the need for people everywhere to be thankful to Your mercy. We pray for LIFE FM and its ability to reach countless people to share Your Son’s Gospel. We pray this in the Name of Christ Jesus. Amen.
