Many (people) followed Him, and He cured them all. Matthew 12:15c

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-15-2011

Many (people) followed Him, and He cured them all. Matthew 12:15c

Exodus 12:37-42, Psalm 136 & Matthew 12:14-21

Often I have people who will write me and tell me they began studying the Bible because of my daily Scripture study and I think it’s important to note that if you follow along with my study daily you will find that you are reading the Bible from cover to cover which we have done two times over if you started studying with me four years ago. Every time you read the Bible you find new and interesting things only God wants you to learn. You may read a verse over and over and all of sudden the Holy Spirit will move you to understand the verse in a way that lift your soul to be One with God.

Even as Jesus was silently moving away from the Pharisees to avoid capture and thus enter into His Fulfillment at the Appointed Time, He was healing people and asking them to keep His healings to themselves to fulfill this prophesy. I like to think this verse has a lot to do with anyone who follows Jesus today: Many (people) followed Him, and He cured them all.” For if you follow His Word and become intimate with His faith, charity and love, you too will love your love of Jesus and be cured of all selfishness.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today that Your Son’s Truth heal all who surrender to His Teachings to Glorify You Father above all things. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I desire mercy, not sacrifice. Matthew 12:7b

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-15-2011

I desire mercy, not sacrifice. Matthew 12:7b

For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath. Matthew 12:8

Exodus 11:10—12:14, Psalm 116 & Matthew 12:1-8

How many times have you thought there’s a need to sacrifice yourself in order to please God? We are always willing to sacrifice something to God if we get something in return. “God, if I get this job I’ll… God if I could only be on that team I’ll… God I’ll stop drinking if You…” You know what they are: empty promises. Promises we make to God only to fall back into our ways of selfish desires of lust, flesh and money. What we want from God is neither temporary nor permanent. We want instant satisfaction from our sacrifice instead of life-altering promises to live in Truth for His Glory.

As Jesus was being scolded by the Pharisees for the Disciples eating on the Sabbath, Jesus reminded the men that God desires mercy not sacrifice recognizing the need to eat when they are hungry. Our God wants us to learn His Word and take time to share His Mercy instead of looking for something to sacrifice be it your own body’s need for nutrition, exercise, rest, or something we sacrificially give up to gain instant satisfaction from God to find sacrifice to live instead of mercy to give. How many times has God answered your prayer based on a sacrifice? How many times has He blessed you because of the mercy you live and give? Your love of loving Christ Jesus is His desired mercy.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today early for the mercy to live in You for Your Glory. We pray today for people to share mercy with the needy and hope with the proud. We pray for the love Pala shared with a homeless couple yesterday in Central Florida will be continued by others who follow Your Truth of sharing faith, charity and love. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Learn from Me, for I am meek and humble of heart. Mathew 11:29b

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-14-2011

God replied, “I Am Who Am.” Exodus 3:14

Learn from Me, for I am meek and humble of heart. Mathew 11:29b

Exodus 3:13-20, Psalm 105 & Matthew 11:28-30

It seems funny to say “God sent me. you know, I Am Who Am,” but many of us live according to I Am to accomplish He Is. He is the Only Way to Heaven. He is God’s Only Son Who Am the Beginning and the End. But announcing God does seem intimidating to some. Afraid It’ll change them, Jesus. You know, how He changed you?

When you meet I Am and begin living as He Is, a pure simple desire begins to burn inside of you to get to know God better. You start looking for your Bible. You start humming hymns. You start praying. You start sharing. You start giving. You start looking for someone to share the deliverance of slavery to self by announcing, “I AM has sent me.” Jesus says, “Learn from Me” to gain His Truth as a guide to living in complete communion with Him and I AM for They Are One in the Spirit to make Three.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, We pray today to learn from Jesus to live meek and humble of heart. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Bless the LORD, my soul; do not forget all the gifts of God, Who pardons all your sins, heals all your ills. Psalm 103:2-3

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-13-2011

Come, now! I will send you to Pharaoh to lead my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt. Exodus 3:10

Bless the LORD, my soul; do not forget all the gifts of God, Who pardons all your sins, heals all your ills. Psalm 103:2-3

I give praise to You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike. Matthew 11:25b

Exodus 3:1-6, 9-12, Psalm 103 & Matthew 11:25-27

The voice dwelling in the Burning Bush of Truth, Truth in the Voice calling you from burning embers to stand before a giant saying, “God said, “Come no nearer!.” Heart stopping sounds from an amazing experience as God’s Light sheds His Awesomeness, His Power invoking you to accomplish God’s Will where trust anxiously rests in your heart and soul producing action or contemplation. When we act, we act with confidence in His Ability to lead us at will but truthfully, we mostly stop and think about it contending the risk isn’t worth it. “It”- that of being led before wolves to be eaten alive amongst the unbelievers of Christ’s Gospel.

As Moses, we must trust God’s Plan for us and conquer Pharaoh’s and always be ready to serve His Truth with honor and love. So who have you been? Are you the “action” or the “contemplation?” In action we accept His pardon of sins and ills rejoicing in His strength sweeping the world with just one breath of His nostril. In contemplation we become un-childlike and thus have become to wise to live His Plan sulking in self serving pride. Come now and lead your families, your friends and your community to the gifts of God becoming childlike in your revelations to act with joy and trust.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today for everyone I said I would pray for. We pray today for understanding LORD how to live by Your Truth. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

For the LORD hears the poor, does not spurn those in bondage. Psalm 69:34

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-12-2011

For the LORD hears the poor, does not spurn those in bondage. Psalm 69:34

Yes, Father, such has been Your Gracious Will. Matthew 11:26

Exodus 2:1-15a, Psalm 69 & Matthew 11:20-26

Somewhere in the midst of July, four years ago, I sat and listened to the Holy Spirit tell me to share my absolute love of reading the Word of God to anyone, anytime anywhere succumbing to the mentality of living His Truth. “I’ll pray with anyone, anytime and anywhere.” I’ve tried to never miss a day of writing. I’ve been late. But I’ve hung in there. For His Sake. Tired many times. Confused and ever desiring to live in Him. I fight on as Moses did in the desert finding not only love but the courage to fight for his people.  We never know what a basket’s going to bring us for the sake of Humanity.

“For the LORD hears the poor, does not spurn those in bondage.” “Yes, Father, such has been Your Gracious Will.”

In being poor I feel rich. In being rich I feel poor. Sometimes I just feel tired. Sometimes I just want what He wants but other times He wants more. Some how I find the strength to do what He asks of me as my mind races for the next line to appear on screen. With a laugh I continue, knowing His Will keeps me on track. I will go on in His Will. We all have some bondage in our lives living poor to accomplish His Will. In being late I am early for in His Purpose I live for Him.

So we ask in prayer: My LORD and My God, I pray today for peace and understanding of what our world is coming to by action and love to live by Your Will. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

Whoever does not take up his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. Matthew 10:39

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-11-2011

Whoever does not take up his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. Matthew 10:39

Exodus 1:8-14, 22, Psalm 124, & Matthew 10:34-11:1

The Cross of Salvation is not an easy One to carry denying you pleasures or at least you think it denies you of some of life’s indulging pleasures but truly we find ourselves in temptation all the time. Pleasures of self run on silk highways lined with hooks of health destroying sin where the gold-laden highways of heaven are lined with the open arms of the Trinity each affording you Eternal Salvation and rest for accepting the Cross and all of its pleasures and pains.

Jesus tells us today in Matthew 10: 34-40 something we all need to study and try to understand. His Cross is heavy because we can make it heavy. His Cross is as heavy as your Bible lifted high above your head. His Cross is only heavy when we deny ourselves the ability to share His Truth of living. When parents deny this right as a child grows, then the child will experience God from someone else on their own. When you live in God for you and your child, your communion with Him affords you the ability to overcome them being taught by someone else even if your selfishness steals away your earlier life, God wants you to know your love of Him will guide the lost home from an Eternal Flame of Hope of living for Him.

Everyone who acknowledges Me before others I will acknowledge before My heavenly Father.  But whoever denies Me before others, I will deny before My heavenly Father. “Do not think that I have come to bring peace upon the earth. I have come to bring not peace but the sword. For I have come to set a man ‘against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and one’s enemies will be those of his household.’ “Whoever loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me; and whoever does not take up his Cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. “Whoever receives you receives Me, and whoever receives Me receives the One who sent Me.” Matthew 10:32-40

Yesterday I addressed a youth group from our church about the importance of practice, prayer and preaching and I was struck with great gratitude for Deacon Alpha and his wife Glardia who had undertaken 23 adolescents from 9 to 21 instilling in them the love of God and the Truth of Christ Jesus.

Sacred Heart Youth Group

I enjoyed the youth’s energy and immediately was praying for their guidance and peace. Amazing how hard it seems sometimes to get through to the youth of today. I’m prayerfully thankful for them both for starting the prayer group’s leadership. How difficult it is for us to undertake but how dreadful the consequences are if we don’t art least try to instill in our children the importance of practice, prayer and proclaiming. Jesus said “whoever loses his life for My sake will find it” signaling to us our surrender to His Truth will bring families together instead of driving them apart. Deny to die. Carry to marry. Soul-2-Soul.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today for all youth to be guided by trust for You. We pray today for Deacon Alpha and his wife and every little child who was there yesterday, may you look over them and give peace to the ones who need it most. We pray for the Sera family and the loss of a son and a brother. Give them all peace in Your Holy Name we pray. Amen.

God Bless His Truth for America,

Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins

The disciples approached Him and said, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” Matthew 13:10

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-10-2011

So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; It shall not return to me void, but shall do my will, achieving the end for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11

Creation awaits with eager expectation the revelation of the children of God. Romans 8:19

The disciples approached Him and said, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” Matthew 13:10

Isaiah 55:10-11, Psalm 65, Romans 8:18-23 & Matthew 13:1-23

God’s Word has a purpose fulfilling our destiny with guided direction allowing Humanity to live with reverence for Him, reverence for His Truth, reverence for the faith He instills in us, reverence for the charity He instills in us and reverence for the love He instills in us.  Isaiah reminds us of this fact telling us His Word will not return void but fulfilling His Will if you follow it each and every day. Not once a week on Sunday- but every day.

One day we will be see His Glory and you will resound Eternal Pleasure for living His Truth in practice, prayer and prophesy. How many of you can remember when you all of a sudden get it? You know, the Bible “ah hah” moment. The Holy Spirit seems to be talking to you from your heart and soul and you say, “thank you LORD, I’ll keep trying to understand.” God doesn’t expect us to get it right away, He expects us to keep trying and trying and reading and reading. One parable after another will be opened to you and your love of loving His Truth will help you to understand to always be reverent to His Truth for the Glory of God the Father.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, I pray today for You LORD to open the young minds of the Youth Group I have been asked to address today about prayer and Your Truth. Guide my heart and tongue to accomplish Your Will. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Nothing is concealed that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known. Matthew 10:26

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-9-2011

But Joseph replied to them: “Have no fear. Can I take the place of God?” Genesis 50:19

Nothing is concealed that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known. Matthew 10:26

Genesis, 49:29-32; 50:15-26a, Psalm 105 & Matthew 10:24-33

Long before Jesus comes to the world and institutes His Redemption God had planned from the very beginning of time, we experience true forgiveness from Joseph as he tells his brothers not to worry about them selling him into slavery because it was preordained by God for him to experience his destiny and to live God’s Will. How many of us can take into account this type of forgiveness and truly let go of some sort of past wrong allowing God’s grace to envelope our soul and place us at peace with ourselves. Yes, we must gain peace with us to truly allow the Spirit to move us beyond a day-to-day relationship with God.  I truly believe one becomes in complete communion with God when we let go of past hurts, wrongs and crossings seeking a peaceful soul to Glorify God completely.

Do you remember when Pope John II forgave his shooter? I can still remember watching JP II holding him in a prayerful embrace removing all guilt and grief for committing the nightmare of shooting a person. We have no idea how people feel to shoot someone except for the people who have either sinfully, legally or in self defense pulled the trigger and changed their lives forever. A difficult task to understand or empathize with even to the degree of the outcome. Can you consciously forgive someone who just shot you not knowing if death looms within seconds? Blessed John Paul II did on his way to the hospital. Long before Jesus died for the Forgiveness of sins, many in humanity beckoned God to help us owe up to our sins and looked to God in forgiveness for anything at anytime in our lives. Perfection came in Christ-Purpose came from Man-Power comes from God.

Nothing is concealed that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known.” Matthew 10:26

So we ask in prayer: Dear God and Almighty Savior, we pray the Spirit will bless our young servant Andrew as he travels seeking and living the Truth You have shown Humanity forever. May his work benefit Your Glory LORD filled with practice, prayer and proclamation of forgiveness of sins and Eternal Living with You. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

For it will not be you who speak but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. Matthew 10:20

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-8-2011

For it will not be you who speak but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. Matthew 10:20

Genesis 46:1-7, 28-30, Psalm 37 & Matthew 10:16-23

After years and years, God’s plan may jump out of a shadow and surprise you with a long-lost brother, daughter or friend. You may ask why it takes so long for your prayer to  be answered or why it took so long for this event to happen but God’s plans aren’t privy to us only His constant love and trust must we abide by. We learn Joseph’s prayers come true in seeing his father years after his brothers sell him into slavery and his forgiveness comes at a point in their life when his abilities are needed most during a time of famine. God’s Plan for you may have a lot of trials and tribulations but the process of learning God’s Will sometimes takes longer than most other things you may have been taught in your life. His Teaching envelopes your soul when you surrender to His Will and trust His Plan for your life.

It will be in these times of trials and tribulations that the Lord’s Spirit will come to you and guide your tongue of what to say and how to say it. There will be people all around you who will want to prohibit your abilities to openly discuss God’s love for them but amidst the wolves you must “be shrewd as serpents and simple as doves.” There are evil spirits everywhere seeking to destroy your patience by their cunning tricks of elaborate desires of the flesh and selfish shiny new toys that will lead you down a road of hell and disease.

As you lay in your death bed after years of denying your LORD, remember His Son died for your forgiveness of living a sinful life and He’ll embrace you with His Arms of love. If you live a life that is shortened by sin and turn to Him in the end, He’ll teach you what to say and how to say it to gain absolution of your life of self. If you find His Truth sooner than later, you’ll be given the tools to share His Truth when you need it most by the Spirits unending guidance of your tongue for the conversion of souls. You will love your love of Christ by your simple dove-like nature sharing His Truth for Eternal Living in Christ amidst the wolves of destruction.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to trust Your Spirit when we are guided in words and in actions to accomplish the Glory of You Father forever and ever. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins

Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give. Matthew 10:8d

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-7-2011

Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give. Matthew 10:8d

Genesis 44:18-21, 23b-29; 45:1-5, Psalm 105 & Matthew 10:7-15

The gift of Salvation comes from a Father Who loves His People so much He allowed His Only Son to stretch His Arms across a Cross and die for you. You. Sometimes I think this seems hard to fathom or understand for many people; He died for YOU.  But His intentions were to eliminate any doubt in our minds that we are worthy of being forgiven of our sins and to allow our lives to reflect a communion with God as His Children. As Children of God, we live to accomplish His Will and therefore share God’s faith, hope and love with anyone and everyone we encounter allowing Humanity to live in harmony with His Grace.

Jesus reminds us today that this gift is given to us as a ever present reminder His Redemption was for all bearing the fact that there was and is no cost to claim its Eternal Gift but only the need to live according to His Word by repenting from a life of sin in living to embrace His Truth by practice, prayer and proclamation.  We must find time to read our Bible everyday to live in accordance with His Word by a practice of seeking His Truth. We must pray unceasingly over everything we do to find trust in His Word to fulfill His Will. We must proclaim His Truth without hesitation with family, friends and strangers alike to fulfill the sharing of His Redemption.  Without cost you have received your love of loving Him and without cost you are to give your love of loving Him.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today for guidance in sharing Your Truth with the people we meet. We ask You to help us in our confidence, in our speech and in our knowledge of sharing The Truth of Your Son’s Salvation. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

God Bless His Truth for America,
