Go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. As you go, make this proclamation: “The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” Matthew 10:6-7

Genesis 41:55-57; 42:5-24, Psalm 33 & Matthew 10:1-7

Look into your hearts and describe what you see: Does the LORD’s Word dwell there? Does the His Command of non-judgment resound in your soul? Are you mindful of your own needs more than the needs of others? Do you believe Joseph’s brothers are getting their due reward from Joseph here in Genesis 42? Can life be bought and sold without punishment? Can killing a child go unchallenged? How does one make a distinction between right and wrong when the evidence is so obvious that death occurred?

We have been struggling with legalized murder for way too long and the blood has spilled into our daily lives in live murder trials allowing the young and the old alike to experience obvious tragedies of humanity. The voiceless whether bound by the mouth with duck tape or concealed in a womb have lost their voices for justice as we sit in our living rooms watching the mindless acts of disrespect to our LORD’s Commandments be trampled on by people who spit in our faces.

Do they still deserve forgiveness? In a world where self drives us to kill voiceless children and write it off as a learned trait, we as Truth believers in Christ Jesus must continue to seek the lost sheep and make the proclamation; “The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” Trust God will Judge accordingly if repentance does not come from anyone for any sin. By loving your love of Christ Jesus you will pray for all voiceless children who are senselessly killed as well as the parents who are afforded the same forgiveness of Christ’s Redemption whether we like it or not. Look into your heart and describe what you see.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today for the victims of senseless acts of murder as well as the parents, doctors, nurses, family members, jurors and law makers who allow these acts of sin against Your Word be carried out. We pray for our guidance LORD to be a people who judge not yet pray for the lost sheep of Your Humanity. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom. Matthew 9:35c

Genesis 32:23-33, Psalm 17 & Matthew 9: 32-38

When I awoke this morning, I was sitting at my desk reading Scripture when it dawned on me that I was supposed to be in Mass at 6:30 in less than 40 minutes and I had almost 25 minutes of travel time. I was off a day because of the July 4th holiday and I rushed to get dressed and make my scheduled Lector engagement. Such is everything in life it seems sometimes as the Pastor reminded us today in his preaching that we are always wrestling with commitments, family and God in one thing or another just as Jacob wrestled with God today in Genesis 32. God renames Jacob “Israel” which means God’s wrestler and offers Jacob his blessing after a night of tussling with God.

Yes, I agree, many of us wrestle with God in many things each and everyday but He will never abandon you even in the times you spitefully callout His Name in vain to lash out at the circumstances of life. We learn sooner or later that God is in control of everything, every little detail of our life and when we accept His Presence we seek His guidance for everything we do. If we cannot live in His Will for every instance we are falling into a world of self guided by inner desires of selfishness. It’s only when we learn to allow our lives to be guided by His Word, by His Knowledge and by His Truth do we live in a harmonious joy gaining Eternal Life from His Son’s Redemption. Are you wrestling with God or is God wrestling with you to love your love of His Son Jesus?

So we ask in prayer: Dear Gracious LORD, we pray today for strength to wrestle life’s worry away by Your Word and Your Son’s Redemption. We pray for Rochelle who is wrestling with life’s issues. We pray for Augie Silva’s continued healing and we ask LORD to guide his for Your Purpose. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Today we celebrate 235 years of birth and liberty. Yet are we really celebrating Truth in America? While we continue to be the longest on-going Constitutional Republic in the history of the world, one with no uprising of governmental overthrow, we have truly been overthrown by a minority secularist movement that has attempted to take God out of our history books, our colleges, our pledge of allegiance, our families and our Founding Father’s own breath of words that created our Great Country on Divine Principals inspired by the Word of God.

Today we celebrate a history of God’s blessings on a country that strived “to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”  Yes, We the People of the United States of America, in order to “proclaim liberty throughout the land and to all the inhabitants thereof,” inscribed this Leviticus 25:10 verse on our Liberty Bell which rang on July 8, 1776 as members of Congress took the Declaration of Independence and read it aloud from the steps of Independence Hall, proclaiming it to the city of Philadelphia.

The United States historian David Barton of Wallbuilders.com once asked: How has America garnished such stability and blessings when other nations are encountering tumultuous struggles and multiple revolutions? What was the basis for American Independence? He noted, “John Adams said ‘The general principles on which the Fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity.’ Perhaps the clearest identification of the spirit of the American Revolution was given by John Adams in a letter to Abigail the day after Congress approved the Declaration. He wrote her two letters on that day; the first was short and concise, jubilant that the Declaration had been approved.

The second was much longer and more pensive, giving serious consideration to what had been done that day. Adams cautiously noted: ‘This day will be the most memorable epic in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival.’ It is amazing that on the very day they approved the Declaration, Adams was already foreseeing that their actions would be celebrated by future generations. Adams contemplated whether it would be proper to hold such celebrations, but then concluded that the day should be commemorated – but in a particular manner and with a specific spirit. As he told Abigail: ‘It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty.’”

I conclude our country’s freedom to choose what we want to pray to is alive and well in America but the heritage of our Funding Father’s Christian/Judeo beliefs are systematically being stripped away from every facet of our history by a minority secular movement in which has been distorting the facts to instill confusion in the hearts of young and old Americans alike. For far too long, the majority of Christian/Judeo American’s have been silent allowing untruths to be instilled in the minds of children and young adults who are the foundation of our American Future.

I believe in my heart and soul God has warranted His Blessings on those who fear Him and in instill in the country He built by His blessings will return to Her Biblical Roots by standing up and being counted in every election across the land in 2012. The very heart of the American Family is at stake. The future of American historical Truth is at stake and by God I will not sit back and be silent no more. I will have a voice of His Truth to guide our “Blessings of Liberty” home. Our home. Our America.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today You give the majority who believe in Your Truth the strength, courage and drive to take back our Godly Heritage here in our United States of America. We pray Your Truth will prevail. I pray today for the union of my Soul-Mate in Christ Toni and me to always be blessed by Your Love on our Second Wedding Anniversary today. We are Your TNT for Truth LORD and today we will celebrate our marriage in prayer for our country’s return to You. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I give praise to You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although You have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike. Matthew 11:25

Zechariah 9:9-10, Psalm 145, Romans 8:9, 11-13 & Matthew 11:25-30

I think it goes without saying that our world today lives in the flesh diluting the Spirit in every facet of society weakening the Church in followers and believers. Sometimes I wonder if the world will ever be able to return to a world that fears the LORD and the consequences of living a life of sin and self. I ran across a friend the other day that was obviously frightened by something in his life and after some conversation I learned he was struggling with making decisions about a relationship he had just ended. He had fallen for the weakness of the flesh and mixed that with wrong decisions.

What occurred to me was that he made decisions based on the flesh and not the Spirit. All of us are called to make decisions every day about life and they must be driven by the LORD’s Word to habitually overcome the temptation of the flesh mingled with responsibilities to live a life in faith, hope and love. As Jesus reminds us today, God will reveal all to the childlike who follow directions with the smile of an Angel. You know, how a child will follow you just by leading with happiness and joy? Well God’s Word is our happiness and His Truth is our joy that we as adults must learn to follow as a child will follow with confidence and trust.

So we ask in prayer: My LORD and my God, we pray today to always remain childlike in our following of Your Word to live in faith, hope and love gaining harmony for humanity. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Genesis 27:1-5, 15-29, Psalm 135 & Luke 2:41-51

Sometimes we wonder why deception is placed in the Bible such as Rebekah’s plot with Jacob, her favorite son, to deceive her husband Isaac and thereby cheat Esau out of “The Bless­ing” all dying Jewish men gave their oldest son on their deathbed. The extent to which mother and son went to deceive the Father and brother required quite a charade. To make sure Jacob wasn’t discovered, Rebekah not only put the hairy skin of a baby goat on Jacob’s hands and neck, so that he would feel like Esau, but she also dressed him up in Esau’s clothes so that he would smell like Esau.

Rebekah and Jacob pulled off the bait and switch routine. It was all wasted effort, as we shall soon learn, and the only thing they accomplished was to accrue a list of sins. Rebekah, especially showed a lack of faith in God because God had already told her that the younger son, Jacob, not the firstborn Esau, would receive the birthright and “The Blessing.” But she believed that she had to give God help – just like Sarah when she used Hagar  to give Abraham a child. We always get into trouble when we try to help God out by taking matters into our own hands. “Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.”

Many Biblical Scholars write that Jesus was a faithful little Jewish boy but at the age of 12 He began to show that His infancy stages were over and His concern began to turn to His Divine Kinship of God’s Only Son to live His Father’s Will which takes precedent over His family ties. Jesus points out later that following His Truth will pit you against your own families and friends because many will not be able to give up a life of self for an Eternal Life free of material gain.

Jesus began to do His Father’s Work even before He left His mother’s care and was obedient to His parents before taking His Ministry to the people but we learn these things to accomplish our own respect for our parents hopefully being taught the ways of the LORD so we may fulfill God’s Will as adults when we leave the care of our parents. We live a life of free will and by learning to be obedient to His Truth we naturally care for those in need when they need it to Glorify the Father in everything we do. Glorify the Father in your love of loving Christ Jesus. Amen.

So we ask in prayer, Dear God, we pray today for the deceivers of the world. May they learn Truth in Your Word to live each day. We pray for a fruitful life of Your Will. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-1-2011

No one has ever seen God. Yet, if we love one another, God remains in us, and his love is brought to perfection in us. 1 John 4:12

Yes, Father, such has been Your Gracious Will. Matthew 11:26

Deuteronomy 7:6-11, Psalm 103 & 1 John 4:7-16 & Matthew 11:25-30

Moses was explaining to the people how much God loved them that He brought them out of slavery and fed them when they were hungry and set upon a rock the commandments by which they were to live. No one had ever seen God except Moses and Moses relayed the covenant God had established by obeying the commandments brought to the people explaining; “that the LORD, your God, is God indeed, the faithful God who keeps his merciful covenant down to the thousandth generation toward those who love him and keep his commandments, but who repays with destruction a person who hates him;
he does not dally with such a one, but makes them personally pay for it.”

When we lose the desire of self to follow God’s Commandments, we become Children of God who live a life in Truth becoming ever aware that God remains in us bringing forth a perfection of His Love within our heart and soul. People may ask; “How can you love a God you can’t see?” I have heard this before and I’ll stop and look up to Heaven and close my eyes and say;

No one knows where the winds come from yet we can feel its force against our cheeks. No one knows where the flowers come from yet we can smell their blooms. To see God all you have to do is look around you; a child playing equals God’s grace, water rippling in a pond by God’s breath, the love I have for you is God’s Spirit dwelling in my soul that comes out in smile on my mouth, a twinkle in my eye and the gracious Will of God in my soul.” We see God in everything around us and we sustain our belief by living His Word.

So we ask in prayer: Heavenly Father, we pray today humanity will learn to know You by the joys of life around them. We pray they will come to know Your Word before You repay them with Your judgment. We pray for Your Gracious Will Father to be lived by us forever more. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Jesus knew what they were thinking, and said, “Why do you harbor evil thoughts?” Matthew 9:4

Genesis 22:1b-19, Psalm 115 & Matthew 9:1-8

We live in a world where it seems the LORD has allowed us to offer our children as a sacrifice for life its self by the sinful ways of living all around us. It’s as if He is saying, “My people, the world is a sinful place and can destroy your family if you do not follow the ways of the LORD as I have allowed to be told by the Prophets and written in My Word and give your life to the Truth brought to the world by my Son Christ Jesus. I allowed Him to die for your sins instead of you allowing the sin of the world to kill your soul. Repent and have Everlasting Life or follow the ways of self and burn in hell forever.”

There are many of us who see His love in everything we do and will follow His Word to accomplish His Will just as Abraham did when offered up Isaac as the LORD had commanded granting him “descendants as countless as the stars of the sky and the sands of the seashore.” Because He followed His Command the LORD said His descendants would “find blessings” for their lives “because you obeyed my command.” How many of you have found blessings for your lives because you have followed the Way of the LORD? Even in the midst of severe havoc or dismay, can you still say you find blessings in the LORD? Simply by following His Commands?

Do you think Jesus can hear your thoughts in Heaven above? Do you think His ability to know your thoughts and feelings can change the way you act even when you sin? There’s a joy received when we study His Word and find Him healing another such as the paralytic whose sins He forgave commanding him to pick up his stretcher and walk. This joy transcends into our everyday life when we see family, friends and strangers alike become healed because of Jesus Christ. But how much do we need to know of other’s religions to grant us the knowledge to overcome evil thoughts and instill the love of God in their soul?

A close Brother of mine in Christ shared the story of buying religious books in an airport bookstore and he was recommended to buy a book on Scientology by the clerk. After some discussion with her why he wouldn’t buy the book, she explained “it’s good to know how others think before evangelization.” He wrote the following to many of us last night; “She taught me a valuable lesson. When we recruit it’s important to study the candidate and there views of God and ask the Holy Spirit to guide us to chose the right words. All of us know this but I was touched by her. This woman was clearly poor and uneducated in the world’s eyes but in my eyes she was a giant among God’s followers. I was privileged to have a conversation with her as we both said God bless you as we parted. I was humbled because God reveals his truths to the poor of this world and the humble.” Thanks Michael Fusco for sharing. My body is tingling right now with God-bumps from His Sprit of love.

So we ask in prayer, Dear God, we pray today to train our minds in the Ways of the LORD as well as the views of the lost and confused so we may better guide them to understand Your Truth. We pray we can always follow Your Commands with the faith of Abraham. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Heavenly Father

Wig’s Word of God Today 6-29-2011

The Lord will rescue me from every evil threat and will bring me safe to His Heavenly Kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen. 2 Timothy 4:18

For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Heavenly Father. Matthew 16-17d

Acts 12:1-11, Psalm 34, 2 Timothy 4:6-8, 17-18 & Matthew 16: 13-19

I know in my heart and soul the fright of life can seem so overwhelming sometimes that we have nothing we can do but sit down and cry. You may even think God has abandoned you leaving you to wash your hands in your tears but He is abundantly a part of everything you are doing. He will rescue you from every evil threat, overwhelming situation of grief or the most impossible situation you may have seem to have gotten yourself into. Today in Acts, we learn of Peter’s angelic rescue from prison. Not only did his ankle chains fall off, his prison door open and he seemingly walked unnoticed by the four sets of guards, but God intentionally strengthened Peter’s conviction time and time again.

There will come a time in all our lives that we will experience God’s rescue by our love of His Word, by our prayer answered by our preaching of His Son’s Truth. It may come in times of you won’t understand. It may come in times when you think what is happening is wrong. It may come in times when you believe with all of your heart that there would be no way God would put you through such havoc or heartache. But these are exactly the times that God is teaching you something to live for His glory. You may never understand what it is but I promise you God’s favor rests on those who accept life’s hurdles with faith, humiliation and love. One day we will learn that God did not allow Peter to escape anymore, but allowed him to face his death with courage, respect and love by his life’s work of sharing the Gospel of Christ Jesus.

When Jesus asked in Matthew 16 who people said that he was and Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God,” Jesus knew that His Father had revealed this to him by his absolute surrender and following His Son becoming a Rock the church was built on. There comes a time in all of our lives when Jesus reveals to us his Truth to live each and every day for His Father’s glory. Everything around us becomes centered on living in Truth. We know that all our mistakes of our past are forgiven. We know that our past life should be forgotten. We know in our hearts that we have to live each and every moment of every day in complete communion with our love of loving Christ Jesus to live in Truth to accomplish the Will of the God. When you surrender to the love of Christ Jesus, there is no other way to live but in Truth.

So we ask in prayer, Heavenly Father we pray today that You will rescue us from every evil threat we ever encounter. We surrender to living in Truth for the glory of God and we accept each and everything we encounter as Your Will living in faith, charity and love. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Nothing but an excuse?

Or the life of a recluse?

Guiding you to choose?

I AM the Son of Man

All life rests in My hand

Choose to live by My command

Or die with sin from your own plan

I am revealed by my Father’s proof

In My life I gladly did live to choose

Living for His love will garnish something cool

In You revealed the wind of Truth

Why are you terrified, O you of little faith? Matthew 8:25b

Genesis 19:15-29, Psalm 26 & Matthew 8:23-27

We learn today that Abraham’s nephew Lot was the only decent God-fearing man in Sodom resulting in the two angels rushing him out of town to save his families life before the LORD’s wrath came upon the town and consumed everyone in fire. The angel warned the family not to look back or they could be swept away and consumed by the wrath of God but Lot’s wife longed for her old life in Sodom and the LORD’s Will turned her into a pillar of salt as she lagged behind her families escape. I for one believe in the LORD’s wrath and urge people to repent and seek the Salvation granted by Christ’s death on the Cross.

When  I was in the Navy, I sailed the South China Seas on a US Naval Fast Frigate named the USS Jack Williams FFG-24. We were sailing the South China Sea in waiting for the Chinese to complete a pass-ex with an American ship for the first time in ions we were told as we experienced the roughest seas I had ever encountered. The ship rocked back and fourth on 10 to 20 degree rolls for an entire week. People were sick and scared as the Captain reassured everyone announcing repeatedly during the week “God will protect us.” I remember the trust I felt in my heart for the captain’s words and how relieved I was one day to wake up to calm seas and a beautiful sunrise.

The disciples fright was a natural feeling in a boat that is being tossed around like a soda can on the sea but their fright turned to amazement as they awoke Jesus to exclaim, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!” As the Captain of any ship will try and do, He calmed not only the men’s fear but the winds and the seas with His Divine abilities and thus the Disciples fear turned to absolute wonder when they said to themselves, “What sort of man is this, whom even the winds and the sea obey?

He is the One and Only True God who can calm any storm within our minds, hearts and souls if only we will display the faith He showers on us all by our surrender to His Way of Salvation. He will send angels to carry us out of burning homes just as He did to Lot and his family or He will send you a Captain of faith who will command a Navy ship with confidence in his abilities as a God-fearing Christian. If only you will take your love of loving Christ Jesus and carry the faith of His hope, charity and love. Amen.

So we ask in prayer, Dear God of All, we thank you for the faith you give men and women who surround us for Your Truth to live in joy of Your Son’s Salvation from sin. Give us the courage to live in this faith in everything we do. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go

Wig’s Word of God Today 6-27-2011

The LORD’S kindness is forever, toward the faithful from age to age. He favors the children’s children of those who keep his covenant, who take care to fulfill its precepts. Psalm 103:17-18

Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go. Matthew 8:19b

Genesis 18:16-33, Psalm 103 & Matthew 8:18-22

Many will say; “If only I could speak to the LORD as Abraham did in Genesis so I can have all the answers of life and therefore live according to His Will.” But yet He lives in all of us who have accepted His Divine Teachings of Truth through His Word where our surrender is a part of everything we do. Does this mean that the one who wishes to talk to God does not know He dwells in his heart and soul and is as close as the breath you breathe? Many  people I have learned want to know God but have yet to accept His Son’s Truth of love that dwells in the heart every believer. So, therefore many a person who claims to believe has yet to completely grasp His Word to live according to His Call in their life as a true disciple of Christ Jesus.

Hence, when the Scribe said in Matthew 8:19b, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go,” shows how in his heart he had fully surrendered to God to live in communion with His Son by faith, charity and love to give all to receive all in Everlasting Life. The next disciple said to him, “Lord, let me go first and bury my father.” But Jesus answered him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their dead.” Matthew 8:21-22 Jesus was reminding them that to follow Him one must let go of all to accomplish the Will of God and in matters of death He was referring to the spiritually dead (those who do not follow) to bury their physically dead.

In our love of loving Christ Jesus, we surrender all to His Truth to accomplish The Father’s Will and to Glorify His Name forever more. We speak to God every moment of every day by our thoughts, by our words and by our actions. If only we recognized that every time we think, speak or act, we are speaking directly to God knowing He’s listening and acting too, then we’d live more in harmony with His Purpose for faith, charity and love. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Heavenly Father, today we pray we will follow Your Son wherever we go being ever conscious that You are listening to our every thought, every word and every deed. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen

Listen, He’s waiting with open arms
