Not by bread alone does man live, but by every Word that comes forth from the mouth of the LORD.

Wig’s Word of God Today 6-26-2011

Not by bread alone does man live, but by every Word that comes forth from the mouth of the LORD. Deuteronomy 8:3d

Just as the living Father sent Me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on Me will have life because of Me. John 6:57

Deuteronomy 8:2-3, 14b-16a, Psalm 147 , 1 Corinthians 10:16-17 & John 6:51-58

When we rely on our own capacities without giving everything to God, we sever in ourselves the communion with God that produces all necessities of life including the but not limited to dietary needs, physical readiness and spiritual livelihood. We must establish a communion with God in all things, a bond if you will to be One with His purpose to eat the right foods sharing our lot with the needy, maintain our temple of His likeness by exercise and physical training and feed our soul with His Eternal Word of Life to complete the communion of His Will for all necessities of life. This communion will serve His Purpose to share the Redemption of His Son’s Truth in gaining Eternal Life by our repentance of sins and living for our love of His Son Christ Jesus.

On Friday night, I could see this in a family I met in Naples as I attended a conference called Liberty Counsel Awake with Mathew Staver and David Barton who are stout Christians establishing a movement to stop our great country from moving away from our Christian Heritage by strengthening our religious freedom, the sanctity of human life and bonding the family in America as the true foundation of American History. Please learn more about their Grassroots Movement at www.lc.org and www.wallbuilders.com. The family I met was promoting “One Nation Under God U.S.A” to establish the rediscovery of American History and renew in our current generation the vision and covenant of the Founding Fathers and Mothers of our Great Land.

After speaking with them for some time, I asked permission to take their picture of their family unit to share with my readers of my daily Scripture study to allow an opportunity to discuss what I see an American Family in love with God and its country history looks and acts like. I commented to the children how fortunate they are to have a mother and father who practices the Truth of God’s Word and affords them the opportunity to know the Truth about their country’s foundation and establishing in them a desire to share this in their “One Nation Under God U.S.A.” movement.

Just as Jesus reminds us today in John 6, this family is a true example of what it means to live a life of Christ’s love by being in total communion with His Word for the growth of their body, mind and soul. When worldly means of living escape our ability to survive in God’s World, there is truly on One Way to survive and that’s by the Truth in God’s Word to live in communion with His Son’s New Covenant of Love. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear Father of All, we pray toady for the movement of One Nation Under God U.S.A. to give all Glory to You and Your Son Christ Jesus for the good of America’s future. We pray today for One Nation Under God’s Families, Liberty Counsel and David Barton to always be protected by Your Divine Hand of Strength leading them to a victory of Your Truth for America’s Future. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Is anything too marvelous for the LORD to do?

Wig’s Word of God Today 6-25-2011

Is anything too marvelous for the LORD to do? Genesis 18:14

My soul proclaims the greatness of the LORD; my spirit rejoices in God my Savior. Luke 1:46-47

You may go; as you have believed, let it be done for you. Matthew 8:13b

Genesis, 18:1-15, Luke 1:46-55 & Matthew 8:5-17

How many times have you said; “I know the LORD can’t do that.” or “How can I expect God to take me there?” When I hear people say things like this, I am reminded of Abraham and Sarah who were way past child-bearing years yet gave birth to a son by the LORD’s command. Sarah’s disbelief became belief and she bore a son Isaac within the year the LORD had promised.

I know, I know, many of you are saying, “But that’s Bible prophesy, the LORD will not oblige me in any requests.” It is thinking like this that will prove any instance of negative thinking will bring you what you believe. If you believe the LORD will bring you amazing wife in Christ, then she’ll come to you when you least expect it. If you believe the LORD will bring you a job, then He’ll give you the strength to knock on doors and see people until you gain your work. If only you’d believe in His Power will you gain what you desire.

Just as Mary proclaimed, “My soul proclaims the greatness of the LORD; my spirit rejoices in God my Savior. For He has looked upon His handmaid’s lowliness; behold, from now on will all ages call me blessed. The Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is His Name. His mercy is from age to age to those who fear Him.” Luke 1:46-50 So too must you believe in the LORD’s ability and reap the rewards of living a life surrendered to His Truth. Only by living in His Truth can you expect to gain His Grace.

The Centurion asked Jesus for healing of his servant because he believed Jesus was the only one Who could heal him. Knowing His ability of being the Son of God by his belief did this Centurion receive the grace of his request when Jesus said, “You may go; as you have believed, let it be done for you.” Matthew 8:13b Your life is the same by your belief in the Truth of Christ’s life, death and resurrection. In loving your love of Christ, you too will confidently proclaim His Truth and reap the rewards of Eternal Life. Amen.

So we ask in payer: Dear LORD, today I pray for David Barton of Wallbuilders.com who is working hard to bring Your Truth back to America’s forefront. I thank You too LORD for giving me the opportunity to pray with David in private last night as I had believed You would. LORD, give those who believe the ability to see the fruits of their labor nourish them and guide them by their love of loving Your Son’s Truth. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

You formed my inmost being; you knit me in my mother’s womb

Wig’s Word of God Today 6-24-2011

You formed my inmost being; you knit me in my mother’s womb. Psalm 139:13

Isaiah 49:1-6, Psalm 139, Acts 13:22-26 & Luke 1:57-66, 80

Many will argue there is a reason to abort a child in the womb but God’s Word describes otherwise. Many will say a person should be able to divert their baby to a trashcan surgically if hey have been raped or experienced incest but the Word of God says otherwise. Many will point out that a woman is control of own body and she should have the right to choose if she wants to keep her child or kill it but God’s Plan is not a plan we are supposed to mess with.

I have expressed before that God doesn’t make mistakes but people will point out that He does by choosing to rip their child from their wombs with oversized tweezers tearing this precious being limb from limb while literally pulling its head clean off its shoulders. Many don’t know they use a vacuum cleaner thing to suck the child out of a womb pulling eye balls out of sockets and tearing arms off at their shoulders. Yes, I know, it’s a terrible description of such a horrendous death but we have masked it for way too long. We have covered up in the United States of America a legalized way on paper to murder a child and walk away with despicable feelings a mother and father will deal with for the rest of their lives.

As a young man, I too experienced this horrendous act with my first wife as she wished not to be pregnant when she walked the aisle in her wedding dress. Why wasn’t there anyone there to stop us? Why didn’t our schools educate us on the facts of abortion? Why didn’t they explain the REAL consequences of killing our child? I was blind to the real consequences and years later I still regret the lost fatherhood of this poor innocent baby I allowed to be killed for selfish reasons. Time-and-time again I ask God to forgive me. Time-and-time again I feel the pain of this lost breath of the world. Time-and-time again I pray at an abortion clinic in tears because I know there are babies losing their lives inside and I can only pray God will grant the babies, their parents and yes the abortionist pardon and peace. When will this senseless act of killing stop?

“You formed my inmost being; You knit me in my mother’s womb. I praise You, so wonderfully You made me; wonderful are Your works! My very self you knew; my bones were not hidden from You, When I was being made in secret, fashioned as in the depths of the earth. Your eyes foresaw my actions; in Your book all are written down; my days were shaped, before one came to be.” Psalm 139:13-16

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today the people of the world will one day realize abortion goes against Your Decrees. We pray for forgiveness of anyone involved in abortions in one way or another. We pray for Christ’s Peace. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Only the one who does the Will of My Father in Heaven

Wig’s Word of God Today 6-23-2011

Hallelujah! Give thanks to the LORD, Who is good, whose love endures forever. Psalm 106:1

Only the one who does the Will of My Father in Heaven. Matthew 7:21d

Genesis 16:1-12, 15-16, Psalm 106 & Matthew 7:21-29

Sometimes there is a need to put up with people or situations to accomplish the Will of God while enduring hardships or insults to be fruitful for His Truth.  The Egyptian maidservant named Hagar had to put up with Sarai after she became pregnant with Abram’s child even though she was subjected to insults and beatings after the LORD’s messenger explained she would bear a son.

I know, many of us are unwilling to bear hardships for His Truth for the temptations of the Secular world of excess are tantalizing to the eyes, nose, tongue and hands as well as the soothing sounds of Satan’s evil messengers encouraging you or lifting you up with complements and/or rewards. It may seem easier to accept this life than endure the life of God’s Truth but your reward is great when the hardships of life are accomplished to accomplish the Will of God.

The Son’s of God reminds us today in Matthew 7 that not everyone who does works in His Name will enter the Kingdom of Heaven for you must always do the Will of the Father to enter the Narrow Gate. Here He is reminding us that we cannot live in two worlds of self and God’s Truth to warrant the Father’s automatic entry into His House of Truth. You must live each and every day in absolute surrender to a life of loving your love of Christ to have the door opened for you. As Jesus said, “No one can serve two masters. He will either hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:24

So we ask in prayer: Dear Heavenly King, we pray today to always live in Your Will always giving thanks for the goodness You LORD bring to mankind by the Redemption of Your Son, Christ Jesus. Amen.

The LORD is our God who rules the whole earth. Psalm 105:7

Wig’s Word of God Today 6-21-2011

The LORD is our God who rules the whole earth. Psalm 105:7

So by their fruits you will know them. Matthew 7:15

Genesis 15:1-12, 17-18, Psalm 105 & Matthew 7:15-20

“Look up at the sky and count the stars, if you can. Just so,” He added, “shall your descendants be.” Abram put his faith in the LORD, who credited it to him as an act of righteousness.” Genesis 15: 5-6 You can look back on the LORD’s words to Abram and see the fruition in His Promised Covenant more so today than any other time in history. Abram was worried he would continue to be childless but after he was reassured by the LORD’s Promise, his trust in God became his walk, his righteousness.

Toady we are experiencing the same need in our walk with the LORD. It may be we are worried about employment issues. It may be we are worried about family issues. It may be we are worried about health issues. All of these things as well as any other part of your life should be given over to the LORD. Abram consecrated his life to God by His Trust in His Word to accomplish great things for his life. You too can have God’s great reward in everything you do by consecrating your life to His Purpose. Just as the LORD said to Abram that you too must put into practice; “Fear not, Abram! I am your shield; I will make your reward very great.” Genesis 15:1

This reflection on Abram beings us to what Jesus was saying to His Disciples about false prophets because you will be able to know them by their fruits; their labor in the LORD. Abram gave all to the LORD; his fruit was plentiful and delicious so to speak. So too will be the one who walks the walk and talks the talk of the LORD’s Truth. There will be nothing added. Just plain Truth. Something you can see a mile away as the old saying goes. By your practice of reading your Bible. By your praying unceasingly over everything. And by your proclamation will the charity you produce bring souls to know the Redemption of Christ Jesus. Your fruits will be fruits of His faith, charity and love. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we thank you and praise You for Your love of us and we ray today to always be fruitful for the conversion of souls by our walk and out talk. May we learn b y Your Light of Truth to give fruits of Your Word to accomplish Your Will. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

How narrow the gate and constricted the road that leads to life. And those who find it are few

Wig’s Word of God Today 6-21-2011

How narrow the gate and constricted the road that leads to life. And those who find it are few. Matthew 7:14

Genesis 13:2, 5-18, Psalm 15 & Matthew 7:6, 12-14

Some may say that the earth is just a chemical compound thrown together by some sort of explosion allowing the dust to settle into mounds watered by rain turning into organisms that became man over time. But I beg to differ because man was made in the likeness of the LORD giving forth intelligence to live according to a free will He bestowed on us to be fruitful and multiply as He said to Abram in Genesis 13.

Our intelligence allows us to be fruitful in many ways giving forth abundance in life, food, goods and yes, good deeds. Jesus was telling His Disciples that this road of life His Father has given us is very narrow because many of the world will succumb to the selfish acts of lust, greed and sin preventing them from entering the Gates of Heaven where Judgment Day will fall upon those who lived their lives in selfishness.

Likewise, the LORD has promised those who follow the ways of His Son’s Truth will have everlasting life garnished upon them from living a life in faith, charity and love. A life of abundant in joy where the worries of greed are replaced with abundant giving to accomplish the Will of God. The LORD will multiply your abilities by letting go and letting God serve your every need. The few who will find the Gate of Heaven will live a life of loving their love of Christ Jesus. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dar God, we pray today our paths of life will be the path You LORD illuminate with Your Son’s Truth guiding us to be a people of faith, charity and love. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Stop judging, that you may not be judged

Wig’s Word of God Today 6-20-2011

Stop judging, that you may not be judged. Matthew 7:1

Genesis 12:1-9, Psalm 33 & Matthew 7:1-5

Father’s Day has come and gone but how many of us will stop honoring our Father just because the day has passed? This feeling is a daily event in the lives of countless people who worship the Father of all in thanksgiving, love and action. Now is the time in your life to become vividly aware of the amount of time you spend giving praise and worship to the LORD to accomplish living in His Will each moment for the rest of your life. Jesus tells us to stop judging and it is fitting that we recognize this as we seek to fulfill our destiny of surrendering all to the Father for a daily life of faith, charity and love.

Many of you will say when you read this: How can I give EVERYTHING to the LORD knowing people around me will think that I’m some sort of Jesus Freak. Again, here’s your chance to put into practice what Jesus said today in Matthew about judging because obviously you are judging yourself by thinking this way. It is such a cop out by turning to the world of material selfish desires to label your life as an excuse to seek more pleasures of self than to live a life dedicated to the Decrees and Word of the Father of all.

Seek and you shall find it is not a cliché’ to read about, it is God’s Word directing you to live in accordance with His Commandments to accomplish living in faith, charity and love. Loving your love of Christ will give you faith to live for His Work and to stop judging those around you as anything but Children of God who need guidance to accomplish hope for all mankind. There is only One person who I am concerned with when it comes to judging me and that’s God when my life is over. How will He judge you?

So we ask in prayer: Dar God, we pray today to never judge but to instill the hope Your Word promises to anyone we meet. We pray for sound discernment when we read Your Word. We pray we can be examples of Your Son’s Truth. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Pardon our wickedness and sins, and receive us as Your own. Exodus 34:9f

Wig’s Word of God Today 6-19-2011

Pardon our wickedness and sins, and receive us as Your own. Exodus 34:9f

Blessed are you, O Lord, the God of our fathers, praiseworthy and exalted above all forever. Daniel 3:52

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you. 2 Corinthians 13:13

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him might not perish but might have Eternal Life. John 3:16

Exodus 34:4b-6, 8-9, Daniel 3, 2 Corinthians 13:11-13 & John 3:16-18

There will be many a father today who will be forgotten by their children because of one reason or another of not forgiving his past behaviors or indulgements in a secular world of Satan’s demise. I for one know the Truth in my heart of His Love is more important than any other “Atta boy or nice job dad” but I do dream of a day where I will be forgiven completely of my past life led in sin. My joy resides in His Word of accomplished living in Truth which for years I shunned because of the flash and flair of Satan’s trickery of selfishness. While I may never get to go back to the days of my children’s youth, I embrace forgiveness afforded to me by the death of The Father’s Son Who grants me Eternal Life to share with many a child, family and stranger alike.

I pray for all fathers today but I pray especially for the One Who I turn to each and every moment of every day to live in His guidance and Truth to accomplish His Will forever more. I walk in His Light guided by His Spirit to live as a Child of God hoping to share His love with all Humanity. His forgiveness is real children. By His Blood we are washed clean of a life we did not intentionally lead to hurt any of you. Please forgive them as they are forgiven by Your Heavenly Father to live in harmony for a better world.

I for one was raised by a dad who succumbed to this life of sin where he would come home a many a night intoxicated yielding a drunken hand against my mother, my brother, my sister and me. The smell of alcohol still lives fresh in my mind today and his harshness ached my heart and soul for the longest time long after I was a father myself. I can still remember the sting of a belt or the sting of an insult by a drunk who knew not what he was doing. There would be times he wouldn’t even remember what he did to us the next day but not me, the memories rode in me like a burning fire raging to consume my soul to retreat into a life of selfish acts of sin.

Nothing I could do would take away his ugliness until the day I truly surrendered my life to living for Christ’s love through God’s Word. I gave in to the Father of all because I began to understand what His Sacrifice meant to my life and the lives of all mankind. He sacrificed His Only Son. None of the hurt I received from my own father would ever match what He endured for all Humanity. Today is a day to recognize the Father of all as you should each day of our lives.

So we ask in prayer: Dear Father God, we pray today for all fathers’ especially You LORD Who is Father of all. We pray for forgiveness and we thank You LORD for giving us Your Only Son to die for us and relieve our sins for all Eternity. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Therefore, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and constraints, for the sake of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong

Wig’s Word of God Today 6-8-2011

Therefore, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and constraints, for the sake of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10

But seek first the kingdom (of God) and His righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides. Matthew 6:33

2 Corinthians 12:1-10, Psalm 34 & Matthew 6:24-34

I often sit and wonder how people can go through their life not wanting to thank God in some sort of way. When I am given discord by someone concerning my joy in loving my love of Christ Jesus, I simply smile and reply, “God’s Free Will allows you the opportunity to embrace or deny Him. I pray for the sake of your soul you learn to accept Jesus as your personal Savior and repent from your sins to live in peace.”

I met a lady on the campaign trail this week who struck out at me when I handed her my information card because it says at the top of my card I believe in strong Biblical Teachings by saying, “I don’t believe in this #@$%, our country is screwed up the way it is because of people like you.” Smiling I replied, “Our country is where it’s at because God was taken out of our schools, our history books and our homes. With God America prospered, without God America is doomed. Our Great Country allows you to believe in what you want to believe and I honor your free will as a God-given right.” As I turned to leave, I looked back at her and said, “God Bless you.”

We must as Jesus tells us in Matthew, “seek first the kingdom (of God) and His righteousness,” when we meet and talk to people who are confused or misguided about the joy of knowing and accepting Christ as their guide to their Eternal Home. Too many times we become slaves to the needs of the world instead obeying the needs of God by being an active God-fearing person in every aspect our lives. We can’t be part-time Christians. No, we must give more to humanity for His Glory every moment of every day. The worries of life have a natural God-given answer if we just learn to Trust in the LORD with everything being conscious of His Presence at home, at work and at play.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to live up to the persecutions, insults and hardships for the Glory of You the Father of all to accomplish Your Will. We say a special prayer today for Raquel who seeks You LORD to help her in deed and in thought. We pray today we can always seek Your Kingdom first to live by example and not by life-altering requests. We ask this in Jesus Name. Amen.

If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness

Wig’s Word of God Today 6-17-2011

If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness. 2 Corinthians 11:30

For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be. Matthew 6:21

2 Corinthians 11:18, 21-30, Psalm 34 & Matthew 6: 19-23

Paul speaks about a tolerance he sees in the Corinthians when he regards his perception of their possible demonic attention to living a life according the false witnesses of Christ. I can almost hear him laugh as he states his boasting is similar to theirs in foolishness yet unmistakably incorrect to boast but anything in moderation of the LORD’s Truth. “If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness.” 2 Corinthians 11:30 I feel this now as I exude the need to boast about my weakness in loving the LORD’s Word as I sit in a McDonalds in the Keys listening to God’s music singing aloud holding my hands up high singing “to Glorify His Name” as I type my Spirit led discernment of His Truth. Yes, I’m guilty of boasting in the LORD as he leads my life to accomplish His Will. My weakness; His Truth.

So where is your treasure at? In the yard collecting leaves craving the waves of an ocean? Sitting in the driveway with rims that cost thousands of dollars? Or maybe mounted on the wall projecting the secular’s world of flesh, greed and sin in high definition spanning from one wall to another? Jesus warns us we cannot serve two masters; “No one can serve two masters. He will either hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:24 How can you let go of the secular world’s grip on your soul?

First, I suggest learn to Practice His Truth by studying His Word each and every day. Second, learn to Pray over everything you do; Wake up in prayer. Work in prayer. Relax in prayer. Eat with prayer. Enjoy life in prayer! Lastly, learn to Proclaim the Gospel with confidence anytime, anywhere with anyone. Stored up treasures can’t be taken to Heaven. Treasures of Heaven can only be stored up from deeds of faith, charity and love. To love your love of Christ we let go of treasures on earth and seek only His Truth in practice, prayer and proclamation for treasures of heaven. Amen!

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to always boast in our weakness for Your Truth. We pray we can always seek treasures in Heaven by our love of loving Your Son’s Redemption. I ask for prayers of safety as I continue my Walk along the overseas highway in the Florida Keys. I pray the people who visit my website at www.cruz-wiggins.com will know Your love for all eternity. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

Romans 8:28
“Spirit led God inspired Christ fed”

No Darkness is Found in the Light of Christ’s Mind

Jesus knew their conceived need
Treasures gained from greed
Seek not the treasures of earth
They will decay your Heavenly worth

Treasures for heaven can’t be bought
Where thieves will steal them for not
Only earned in deed and in Truth
By your faith, charity and love to boot

Your eye is the lamp of a body sound
Filled with His might guided and bound
To live void of darkness from eye that is blind
No darkness is found in the Light of Christ’s mind
