Wig’s Word of God Today 10-30-2012
Soul-Mates in Christ cherishing and nourishing our minds, bodies and souls.
Husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one hates his own flesh but rather nourishes and cherishes it, even as Christ does the church, because we are members of His body. Ephesians 5:28-30
Ephesians 5:21-33, Psalm 128 & Luke 13:18-21
Paul brings about the true meaning of marriage as the loyalty of love between Christ and the Church as it should be from husband to his wife. Here we see a clear reflection of what God instilled in the world by faith, hope and love to live in forgiveness as we should when we care for our spouses. Paul explains that marriage is a very intimate relationship of love just as Christ’s relationship with the Church is very intimate indeed.
We must always celebrate marriage as a Divine Institution created by God to Pro Create as described in Genesis 2:24, “That is why a man leaves his father and mother and clings to his wife, and the two of them become one body.” This very Scripture verse is the reason my wife and I joined names as Cruz-Wiggins to celebrate God in all we do as “one body” in Christ Jesus. We affectionately call each other “Soul-Mates in Christ” to live as God commanded cherishing and nourishing our minds, bodies and souls as Christ does the Church. Amen.
Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray we live as husbands and wives as One Body in Christ. We pray for Carmen of the Capri. We pray in Christ’s Risen Name indeed. Amen.

A Mystery so great we can’t divide– Ephesians 5:21-33
Subordination true
Reverence through-n-through
Christ will always do
What husbands should relish too
Husband is the head
Of a family of Truth
Keeping his family fed
Living in Christ as proof
Dependent on Christ
The Church must suffice
He is LORD over lies
They sparkle by His Light
His love of Church obliged
To sanctify Her ties
Cleansing water of Word
Two-edged sword to observe
Love your wife as yourself
Nourish and cherish Truth felt
Members of His Body eternally dwelt
Leaving the family to become One he knelt
A Mystery so great we can’t divide
Christ and the Church rally can’t hide
Loving your wife as himself to abide
As Christ is our Savior we can’t deny
