Wig’s Word of God Today 6-27-2011
The LORD’S kindness is forever, toward the faithful from age to age. He favors the children’s children of those who keep his covenant, who take care to fulfill its precepts. Psalm 103:17-18
Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go. Matthew 8:19b
Genesis 18:16-33, Psalm 103 & Matthew 8:18-22
Many will say; “If only I could speak to the LORD as Abraham did in Genesis so I can have all the answers of life and therefore live according to His Will.” But yet He lives in all of us who have accepted His Divine Teachings of Truth through His Word where our surrender is a part of everything we do. Does this mean that the one who wishes to talk to God does not know He dwells in his heart and soul and is as close as the breath you breathe? Many people I have learned want to know God but have yet to accept His Son’s Truth of love that dwells in the heart every believer. So, therefore many a person who claims to believe has yet to completely grasp His Word to live according to His Call in their life as a true disciple of Christ Jesus.
Hence, when the Scribe said in Matthew 8:19b, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go,” shows how in his heart he had fully surrendered to God to live in communion with His Son by faith, charity and love to give all to receive all in Everlasting Life. The next disciple said to him, “Lord, let me go first and bury my father.” But Jesus answered him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their dead.” Matthew 8:21-22 Jesus was reminding them that to follow Him one must let go of all to accomplish the Will of God and in matters of death He was referring to the spiritually dead (those who do not follow) to bury their physically dead.
In our love of loving Christ Jesus, we surrender all to His Truth to accomplish The Father’s Will and to Glorify His Name forever more. We speak to God every moment of every day by our thoughts, by our words and by our actions. If only we recognized that every time we think, speak or act, we are speaking directly to God knowing He’s listening and acting too, then we’d live more in harmony with His Purpose for faith, charity and love. Amen.
So we ask in prayer: Heavenly Father, today we pray we will follow Your Son wherever we go being ever conscious that You are listening to our every thought, every word and every deed. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen

Listen, Can You Hear Him?
Listen, He’s dwelling within
Listen, He’s upon your chin
Listen, He’s calling upon rain
Listen, He’s healing your pain
Listen, He’s seeking to show
Listen, He’s falling in the snow
Listen, He’s the smell in the air
Listen, His Truth is Divinely fair
Listen, He’s waiting with open arms
Listen, He’s growing corn on a farm
Listen, He’s here in your soul’s rim
Listen, can you hear Him?
