What profit is there for one to gain the whole world yet lose or forfeit himself? Luke 9:25
Deuteronomy 30:15-20, Psalm 1 & Luke 9:22-25
As described in Deuteronomy 30:16-20 by Moses says it all for humanity even today to follow and find favor with God is very simple:
“If you obey the commandments of the LORD, your God, which I am giving you today, loving the LORD, your God, and walking in His ways, and keeping His commandments, statutes and ordinances, you will live and grow numerous, and the LORD, your God, will bless you in the land you are entering to possess. If, however, your heart turns away and you do not obey, but are led astray and bow down to other gods and serve them, I tell you today that you will certainly perish; you will not have a long life.
I call heaven and earth today to witness against you I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Choose life, then, that you and your descendants may live, by loving the LORD, your God, obeying His voice, and holding fast to Him. For that will mean life for you, a long life for you to live on the land which the LORD swore to your ancestors.”
So I ask you: “What profit is there for one to gain the whole world yet lose or forfeit himself?”
In the Holy Trinity we pray to seek You LORD as Truth to live and abide by in thought, word and deed. We pray for the soul of Pam Bishop. We pray for the healing of Joe Montalbano. We pray for “40 Days of Life” to close abortion clinics. We pray for the Emmaus Team in NJ. We pray for LIFE FM. We pray for all people. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Losing his whole world to compare
By saving your life from forfeit
