At the name of Jesus every knee should bend, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:10-11

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. John 3:17

Numbers 21:4b-9, Psalm 78, Philippians 2:6-11 & John 3:13-17

Remember, while I write in brevity what the Spirit of the LORD leads me to say each and every day, I admit a complete surrender to the LORD’s Truth is not a small task or minor feeling to carry around but a complete enlightenment to live in every aspect of your life. The LORD sent His Son so we may understand how to live in a world of selfishness and sin allowing our lives to help those who are lost and in need. We do this by example, where our knees bend often throughout the day and providing an example of confessing His Truth by mouth, in study of His Word and in action of deeds to share His Salvation.

While we as Christians experience many different types of retreats to rekindle the Fire of God‘s Love to share with others, many of these retreats are very secretive wishing to provide a compete joyful and unknown Godly experience. One retreat I have found for the less fortunate that I can actually write about beforehand is the Prison Ministry Team of Kairos. I have been blessed in the opportunity to grow with over 30 men as we prepare to enter the prison to minister to guarded and committed of our world.

During the training we not only pray for each other and the unknown prisoners of despair but also we sing songs and carry talks of God’s Truth to practice and fine tune while conducting Spiritual exercises to lift our souls in communion with God desires. We closed our last meeting last night before our weekend this weekend by praying over each of us one-by-one in laying hands on our brothers and sharing prayers of love and encouragement to keep the evil spirits away. Please pray for our team as we prepare to share God’s Truth to those imprisoned.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today that our lives place us on our knees often confessing our love of Your Son’s Truth and Salvation. We pray today for courage to carry Your Truth in everything we do. We pray for the NJ Team of Emmaus and the leadership of Tom Stilley that You LORD may bring the candidates of Your choice. A prayer of thanksgiving for Michael Fusco and John Thorpe’s friendship in Christ. A prayer of healing for my wife’s ear infection and my daughter Alexandra’s peace and healing. We pray for the lost soul of a boy name Shane, his family and the students at Cardinal Gibbons in Cary, NC. We pray all this in the Name of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Undeniably great is the mystery of devotion. 1 Timothy 3:16a

1 Timothy 3:1-16, Psalm 101 & Luke 7:11-17

For the past week I have been praying about a friend who has written me about devotion to Christ’s Will by his study of Romans 14:13 that got him to writing about as he describes the “foundation that cascades into repairing all the malaise of humanity.” Romans 14:13 states, “Then let us no longer judge one another, but rather resolve never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.” From his study of Romans he shared with me a strong insight I find necessary to share with the world. I have asked permission to reprint his thoughts and I shall do so here after considerable prayer.

Paul has moved me to step out in very deep ways as of late, and probably because of everything we have endured (his son fought and beat cancer), but I find myself in quandary with all I see around me particularly in our politics whom shape our daily lives, and all the things that can cause bitterness that we choose to leverage against each other. Rather I feel that the unique nature of Jesus, who was called to insure we focus on helping each other, who by His long suffering and great pain found still greater value to emphasize charity in the world, I Peter 4:8, 2 Tim:

3-10, 1 Cor 13:1.

I cannot explain why Thomas, but it pierces my heart when I seek lately and hear not enough on the deeper meaning of the ‘stumbling block’ we all carry but that can only be tightly woven with charity, Rom 14:13.  There is something going on here when the emphasis of a simple principle escapes the testament of many and the work of few.  I do not hear God’s people talking about it loudly, mainly, and primarily as what it would appear to be a finer tool to change men’s hearts away from fear and faithlessness but toward the Cross, Charity hence build Faith…and it so seems as the gateway to faith but a building not entered, a line not met to me, that I must share it with someone who can appreciate my journey.

Furthermore, I have been reminded constantly by Paul’s deep heartfelt words that God has forgiven all of our iniquities Col 3:11 where “Christ is all, and in all”.  That we should not be bound by our iniquities, never to be rehashed, and drive the doubtful of what Jesus lay upon the cross but that our path is cleansed, our sins forgiven, and our duty to faith and charity is underscored.  I am yelling a crescendo never before known to me that somehow humanity must know the basis of all success for us, lay in our ability to develop charity and subsequent faith in others; without fear, without condition, without leading the Holy Spirit for it knows what to do.

As we all know too well our darkness and in so lose our charity toward each other, but that by only by removing those stumbling blocks and beginning with charity can we reach the dark heart 1 Cor 13:2. I know how much I must fail at this discovery, and it seems too simple that we should be seeking the good in each other no matter how small the seed be, but to bring a brighter light and shine it even brighter on that still small voice that lay within waiting, listening, harking on the hearts knowing…it is then when the quality of our service changes.

The question then becomes, how do we sprout forward the tiniest light of our goodness that is “in all”?  How do we watch for each other and seek it out? It is a door that must be opened for each other to then let the light overtake the darkness that each step of Christ’s struggle to the cross illuminated.  What else could it be then that enables so much evil in our world if we know not what we do?

So, my heart tells me over and over that we must find ways to focus on illuminating the road to charity that grips the heart to faith.

Thus my simple and first efforts I attempt.

I truly believe that this principle is represented in every act of Jesus while on earth, and feels like one of those obvious things that we have over complicated with knowledge and have somehow stopped hearing in our hearts, knowing as always that the tough business of finding methods to plant these seeds remains the challenge.”

So whatever this inspiration is I don’t know, but I am looking.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today for strong devotion to Your Son’s Truth. We pray to share His Truth with absolute obedience to His Word. It is my wish, then, that in every place the men should pray, lifting up holy hands, without anger or argument. 1 Timothy 2:8

1 Timothy 2:1-8, Psalm 28 & Luke 7:1-10

Paul asks us today to pray for our leaders and people of authority so “we may lead a quiet and tranquil life in all devotion and dignity.” There should come a time in our prayer life where we specifically ask God to protect and guide our leaders giving us peace and tranquility of faith, hope and love of God the Father. In today’s world, we are experiencing a lot less peace and tranquility of prayer because we are bombarded with a secular world of excess in lustful desires of sin. If it were up to this ungodly movement, we’d be relished to praying in the dark instead of openly proclaiming our love and thanksgiving of God the Father. They’d remove our Christian heritage from our history books and teach open sexuality destroying our youth’s desire to know God everywhere.

The time is now that we must lift our hands high in praise to our LORD giving our youth an example to embrace for future generations. For some reason the evangelical Christian people of America were silent during the separation of Church and State over 50 years ago and sat back allowing the Truth to be excluded from our schools, our communities and our lives. America was founded on the Christian/Judeo principals of divine origin by the Word of God and we should be openly discussing a movement of prayer and action by the majority of Americans who are God-fearing. Our Founding Fathers came to America to find freedom of religion allowing us all to embrace any and all forms of worship. We have to re-instill this Truth into the minds of our majority and take our country back. A revival of prayer anywhere, anytime with everyone. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today You LORD share the need for prayer in the hearts of humanity. We pray we are an active beacon of hope instilling effort in praying for our nation, our citizens and our children to know Your Truth by prayer. We pray for Prayer Points to be established soon. We pray for my daughter Alexandra’s peace and healing. We pray for this in the Name of Christ Jesus. Amen.

Jesus answered, “I say to you, not seven times but seventy-seven times. Matthew 18:22

Sirach 27:30-28:7, Psalm 104, Romans 14:7-9 & Matthew 18:21-35

I walked amongst the charredness of a sight so grim. Even three weeks or so after a piece of American history came burning down, I found myself in a complete confusion of why? A stillness of death permeated my being. The souls of humanity crying out in disbelief and constant agony. My body tingled and my soul ached sensing the presence of angels lifting soul after soul to their Eternal Rest. A cool October morning shadowed in fear. Fear of the unknown as America and the world learned to live post- 9-11-2001.

My visit was short yet centered around the tragedy. Even ten years later there is confusion and pain. It seems so long ago but yet so near. A day of confusion. A day of pain. Maybe family were lost. Maybe friends. Maybe a friend of a friend of a friend. Maybe no one but fellow Americans. But all Americans young and old felt a call of duty that day. We pulled together in Spirit and rage. American Flags flew everywhere; businesses, homes and cars. Big flags flying from the rear of pickups whipping in the wind of Patriotism. Old Glory where ever you turned. You could almost see God on the lips of everyone- yes, even the disbelievers asking why LORD, why.

People called out to God asking for guidance- asking for peace. In brevity every day I write of His love and forgiveness penning poems of His Word in Spirit-led psalm of praises and surrender to share the conversion of heart God instilled in my soul a short seven years ago. To offer some of God’s guidance in the madness of the unknown helping people turn to His help. I purposely want to reach out to the people who are expecting miracles while living a life led in self. To promote conversion in receiving the gift of God’s grace.

Our job as Christians is to instill His Son’s forgiveness in their hearts to weather the days of turmoil for as long as they may come. Any day of pain. God will expunge the fear from you. All you have to do is say yes to forgiveness and repent from your selfish pleasures of lust and sin. Say yes to His love and feel His forgiveness. We all know it’s hard to forgive, especially something as tragic as terror filled unknown death, the exact reason why we must all be prepared to accept life’s circumstances before His day of judgment comes upon us all. God has asked us to forgive our killers. He knows we’ll never forget.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God we pray today and every day we feel true forgiveness living in a state of Your grace. We pray today for continued healing for the senseless acts of terror that occurred 10 years ago today. We pray for my Kairos Prison Ministry Team. We pray for my daughter Alexandra’s peace and healing. We pray LORD to always be prepared in our hearts to be judged by You. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I was mercifully treated, so that in me, as the foremost, Christ Jesus might display all His patience as an example for those who would come to believe in Him for Everlasting Life. 1 Timothy 1:16

I will show you what someone is like who comes to Me, listens to My Words, and acts on them. Luke 6:47

1 Timothy 1:15-17, Psalm 113 & Luke 6:43-49

I think many of us lack the knowledge or desire to reflect of the true humiliation Christ exhibited while living a life free of sin. He lived meagerly amongst our sinfulness of self giving Himself freely without judgments or condemnations to share the real love of our Father. A forgiving and merciful love we should live thankful for each and every step of our lives opening our hearts so we can serve Him to our fullest. Share His Word even if we are walked on by a secular movement that disregards the Truth. As Paul puts it in 1 Timothy 1:12: “I am grateful to Him who has strengthened me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because He considered me trustworthy in appointing me to the ministry.”

The strength of God that calls you to action in sharing His Truth by mouth, in your heart and your good deeds calls humanity to know His Absolute Redemption by His Absolute Power. This act of service will guide you to live a life of surrender to the call of the ministry in each of us. We each are predestined by His Plan to live as an example in practice, prayer and preaching to share His Salvation with the world. Somehow, someway God will give you the nerve to talk about Him anywhere, anyplace and anytime without exception. I pray we all come to believe you can share His Promise of Everlasting Life with a smile and the sweat of your brow by listening to His Word and acting on them for the Glory of God. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today Your Son will show His patience in us to accomplish Your Will Father. We pray our actions speak where silence resides in the hearts of the lost, lonely and confused. We pray for my Kairos Prison Ministry Team preparing for their upcoming weekend. Guide us LORD to be Your Will. We pray for my daughter Alexandra’s peace and healing. We pray for Kelly’s continued recovery and we say a prayer of thanksgiving for prayers answered in our friend finding a car. Thank You LORD. We pray for Prayer Points to call Your people together for continued prayers of faith, charity and love of America. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

This saying is trustworthy and deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Of these I am the foremost.

1 Timothy 1:15

No disciple is superior to the Teacher; but when fully trained, every disciple will be like his Teacher. Luke 6:40

1 Timothy 1:1-2, 12-15, Psalm 16 & Luke 6:39-42

There comes a time in everyone’s life when we accept the Grace of God by acknowledging their sins and repent to work Truth into our lives our die from the Truth of God within us. Working Truth into your life can be painful in a lot of ways because you face demons that have driven your soul for too long and in many cases avert a certain death if you had not of accepted Christ’s Truth and His Redemption. It’s kind of like waving a white flag from a distance and pinning a “I surrender” tag to your shirt at all times. For almost seven complete years my surrender has pinned a Holy Spirit Cross on my collar to be an outer obvious sign of my love for God as well as shirts, ties and the like showing my love of Jesus as the obvious sign stating “I’m a sinner.” As Paul states in One Timothy, “Of these I am foremost.”

Often my Scripture study will cause people to write me and express gratitude or stories of faith I like to share because it gives us all an opportunity to see the different ways one can be proactive to share the Gospel of Christ Jesus. We can never forget the Cross and what it means to our Salvation for without His Death we cannot live free of guilt and shame of past, present or future lives of sinful mistakes. Jesus reminds us today we must seek ways to become fully trained in the Gospel He shared with His Disciples to become like Him for the Salvation of Souls. To learn about His love from people who are knowledgeable of the Word of God to give us direction and courage in sharing Christ’s Salvation. When you lead someone to know Christ and then see their conversion before your very eyes, it has an amazing way of fueling your soul to do more for His Father’s Glory. We seek to learn His Truth to surrender our life to His Way of living in peace. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today people will learn to admit their sins and repent seeking Your Son’s Way of living. We pray for Paula in Africa serving Your people in need. We pray for my cousin’s recovery and her brother’s heart test today. We pray for my daughter’s peace and healing. We pray this in the Name of Christ Jesus. Amen.

We know that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

Romans 8:28-30, Isaiah 13 & Matthew 1:1-16, 18-23

Do you believe in destiny? Do you believe you are destined for a higher purpose in the LORD’s work? Stop and think about everything that you’ve ever encountered; adolescence, teenage years, early adulthood and wherever you are now. Did you allow God to use you each and every day or did His Purpose come to you like a flash of light in the night after experiencing a life full of self? The life of us all whether we want to believe it or not is ordained by God. There is no such thing as chance in the life of God’s Providence. We each are predestined to accomplish incredible acts of faith that we may not understand but the Spirit of God understands.

There was a reason why you’ve been through each and every thing you ever encountered. God has had your back and He is control of every circumstance you’ve ever experienced. There’s a saying, “let go and let God” provide for everything you need but how can we do this? It’s not easy to allow something you can’t touch or feel guide your life, right? Remember Isaiah 55:8, “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways—sayeth the LORD.” Your faith is guided by the ever-living presence God’s Spirit in your heart where His love will open your soul to new beginnings and amazing breaths of fresh air and  you will know God and only God could have accomplished something so dear to your heart. His Will is your purpose guided by His Word. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today we always live for Your Purpose. We pray for my cousin in Georgia recovering from surgery. We pray for my Kairos Prison Ministry Team who will be conducting our weekend in one week. We pray for my daughter Alexandra’s healing and peace. We pray this in the Name of Jesus our LORD. Amen.

Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude and insult you. Luke 6:22a

Colossians 3:1-11, Psalm 145 & Luke 6:20-26

Paul explains to us today to stop our vices allowing the life of Christ to become completely alive in you centering your life around His Word to live in your resurrected life for the Glory of God. He warns us if you are disobedient in your behavior you surely will experience the wrath of God somewhere in your life because of your evil desires of greed and self. Once you find God’s Spirit dwelling in you each moment of every day you will find the mundane tasks for God will seem so joyous. You will seek this joy of His love constantly putting to death what once was a selfish passion of lust, greed and self.

Many times in your life of living for God, you will find people will try excluding you from certain events or conversation by the Grace of God working in you. People who are fearful of God’s Truth are fearful of you entering upon their landscape in more ways than you can imagine. You are a threat to their selfish ways of life and they will do whatever it takes to exclude you and your righteousness. Once you become righteous in the LORD, you take on a different persona that selfish people will fear but it is our duty as Disciples in Christ to share His Truth without hesitation. One or two at a time can we make a difference until many come to know the passion you feel for Christ’s Salvation and His Everlasting Promise.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today for all vices in our life to disappear and for us to become completely in communion with Your Truth. We pray for those who exclude us, even those in our ministries who seek preference over Purpose in choosing their likes and dislikes of life’s leaderships. We pray for my daughter Alexandra’s peace and healing. We pray for my cousins in Georgia having a serious surgery today and a stress test later this week. We pray for my Prison Ministry Team of Kairos as we prepare to minister to the imprisoned next weekend. We pray this in the Name of Christ Jesus. Amen.

Everyone in the crowd sought to touch Him because Power came forth from Him and healed them all. Luke 6:19

Colossians 2:6-15, Psalm 145 & Luke 6:12-19

Paul does some fancy explaining how the Cross wiped out all our transgressions but as importantly took a supposed Roman victory in a public spectacle and proved He (Christ) conquered all by allowing himself to be tortured and killed only to be raised on the Third Day by the Father to fulfill all prophesy. Jesus conquered all principalities and powers by coming down from the Cross freeing Humanity from sin while turning the Romans show into a spectacle of deliverance from earthly kings.

When you surrender your life to Christ, you intentionally will see afflictions as going the extra mile for God. Did Jesus call His killers names? Did Jesus walk about after being raised from the dead and say “look at Me?” No, He asks of us to accomplish these same works of mercy by not retaliating but offering prayer and mercy instead. You learn to take personal insults and exhibit Christ-like responses. You begin to realize it’s not your own honor at stake but that of the One Who healed the very sin you walk free of each and every day.

So we ask in prayer: Heavenly Father, we pray today to see inflictions as going the extra mile for Your Glory. We pray we will seek to share Your Truth in all adversity. We pray for my daughter Alexandra’s healing and peace. We pray all of this in the Name above all names Christ Jesus. Amen.

For this I labor and struggle, in accord with the exercise of his power working within me. Colossians 1:29

Then Jesus said to them, “I ask you, is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath rather than to do evil, to save life rather than to destroy it?” Luke 6:9

Colossians 1:24:2:3, Psalm 62 & Luke 6:6-11

We celebrate the worker today while many people are searching for the answer to revive America as One in God to prove our country was and always will be God-fearing. For generations upon generation has been praying before meals in public, before any football game or sporting event and work force meetings at a job seeking the American Dream, right? Of course we have but we as Americans have always strayed from absolute statements that our nation is a Christian Nation. It is nowhere in the Constitution, the law abiding document that doesn’t even mention the word God.

Our Founding Fathers told King George III of England we are all created equal by a Creator in the Declaration of Independence; “we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator,” but nothing about God in our laws because America wanted “Freedom of Religion.” Moreover, that is what we have, Freedom of Religion where anyone can practice anything they want anywhere they want.

We are free to pray in public as long as it is not at a state and federally supported event. We are free to pray in silent anywhere at anytime with anyone. Paul tells us in Colossians we must rejoice in these sufferings on behalf of Christ, “Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am filling up what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ on behalf of His Body, which is the Church. Colossians 1:24 We are searching to revive an America that has stood by and allowed God to be separated by many who feel are the minority in America. So I propose we as the majority exercise our every right to pray and demonstrate in public the desire to pray for our nation’s faith, forgiveness and future.

I labor on as His Power is working in me to provide a place of faith for America to experience forgiveness providing for a brighter future for all. God has blessed our nation because we were always a God-fearing nation even if we didn’t put God in our laws or make an absolute statement of such. We have mixed words with wisdom allowing a secular world to separate our need to thank our God establishing the desire for an immediate revival. We have to pray for our nation’s faith, forgiveness and future. We have to use our own laws to create a state of revival where we begin to pray for everyone we meet while establishing “Prayer Points” across our cities, nations and the world.

In your neighborhood begin by asking the people who are prayerful if they’d come to a weekly outside prayer somewhere in the neighborhood to pray for a short few minutes for our nation’s faith, forgiveness and future. Look for ways to tell other people to do the same thing in their neighborhoods. Most of us go to church once a week but our nation needs prayer in abundance where there is no limit on how much we share with each other. Pray for our nation’s faith, forgiveness and future. Please pray.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today Your Hand will guide our labor and struggle to bring our nation back to faith. LORD, show us the Way of Your Son’s Truth. We pray for my daughter Alexandra’s peace and healing. We pray for Paula Heidorn leaving Orlando today for her Mission Trip to Uganda. We pray this in the Jesus Name. Amen.
