that your faith might rest not on human wisdom but on the Power of God

Wig’s Word of God Today 2-6-2011

If you bestow your bread on the hungry and satisfy the afflicted; Then light shall rise for you in the darkness, and the gloom shall become for you like midday; Isaiah 58:10

that your faith might rest not on human wisdom but on the Power of God. 1 Corinthians 2:5

Isaiah 58:7-10, Psalm 112:4-5, 6-7, 8-9, 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 & Matthew 5:13-16

My heart is aching for the lost souls who wonder around in the night seeking Satan’s potion of choice wanting to know God but without anyone to share with them the Gospel of Christ Jesus. Are you “Sharing your bread with the hungry, sheltering the oppressed and the homeless; Clothing the naked when you see them, and not turning your back on your own?” Isaiah 58:7 How many “Golden Voices” are walking the streets dying a lonely death without knowing the joys of our Prince of Love?

There is many a story of the man or woman someone saved from living in a tent in the freezing cold. There are many a father, many a brother or a sister and many a family living in the streets of the world who’s story hasn’t been told or will be told. Theirs is a lonely story of begging and stealing to survive. Many are here illegally searching for a better life. Many may be slaves to human traffickers working for survival until they escape. Keep and eye out for them and call the authorities. Somehow we have to reach them with a guiding touch of Christ’s hand delivering Eternal Freedom from sin. Share, share and share some more the Redemption of Jesus Christ. It is our pursuit of allowing the homeless, the naked and the hungry to know His Redemption for an ever peaceful freedom from sin.

I must admit I am searching for the answers too and I feel much as Paul does here in 1 Corinthians 2:3-5; “I came to you in weakness and fear and much trembling, and my message and my proclamation were not with persuasive (words of) wisdom, but with a demonstration of spirit and power, so that your faith might rest not on human wisdom but on the Power of God.” There is a wisdom that lives in a person who loves His love of loving Christ that knows his faith rests only on the Power of God. The Power of God will bring people together to overcome anything; homelessness, disease and even war. Our surrender to sharing His Redemption will allow others to see everything is for the Glory of God. “Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.” Matthew 5:16

So we ask in prayer: MY LORD AND MY GOD, I pray today for Shannon Lord LORD who You know so well. Touch her with Your Healing Hands and bring her home to her family and friends. I call upon the LORD through all my prayer warriors to ask for her healing. I pray today that not just the majority but all citizens of the United States will always protect the Constitution and believe You LORD are the reason for all blessings. In Your Son’s Precious Name we pray. Amen

Salt Can Be the Flavor’s Source

Bread will nourish the hungry
A home shelter the poor
Clothes will cover the naked
Christ’s Redemption to implore

Sin’s wounds quickly healing
Triumph over sin released
Void of cruelty, lies and vulgarity
Hunger fed by His Light of Peace

Wisdom filled words cannot create
The joys of the Spirit to inoculate
Your heart and soul with His love
Mighty and graceful is the Power of God

Salt can be the flavor’s source
Words of God guiding force
The Light will always shine
To Glorify the King at all times

The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want

Wig’s Word of God Today 2-5-2011

May the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the Great Shepherd of the sheep by the Blood of the Eternal Covenant, Jesus our Lord, furnish you with all that is good, that you may do His Will. May He carry out in you what is pleasing to Him through Jesus Christ, to Whom be glory forever (and ever). Amen. Hebrews 13: 20-21

The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want. Psalm 23:1

Hebrews 13:15-17, 20-21, Psalm 23:1-3a, 3b-4, 5, 6 & Mark 6:30-34

I pray many of you are hearing the phrase “pay it forward” a lot now-a-days allowing you to by your giving or receiving God’s Graces to experience the type of charity God is concerned with. The type of charity that moves mountains by just a smile to a complete stranger or a good bellow with a neighbor next door. Seeking the heart beat of life by allowing God to provide every grace He has ever promised by Your Sweet Fruitful Confession of Faith in Christ Jesus. Amen. He is the first mention of your lips in the morning and your last before retiring at night. Without Him you would be nothing but He gives you everything even to those who are wondering amously in a vast sea of sin and selfishness. “Pay it forward” to accomplish the charity God commissions and seeks Humanity to experience for life.

We have to promise ourselves as red-blooded Americans that we are going to stand up and pray for our leaders as Hebrews reminds us: “Obey your leaders and defer to them, for they keep watch over you and will have to give an account.” Hebrews 13:17a Hebrews close with blessings through the Resurrection of the LORD allowing you to live the Redemption He gave from His Precious Holy Blood. “May the God of peace, Who brought up from the dead the Great Shepherd of the sheep by the Blood of the Eternal Covenant, Jesus our Lord, furnish you with all that is good, that you may do His Will. May He carry out in you what is pleasing to Him through Jesus Christ, to Whom be glory forever (and ever). Amen.” Hebrews 13:20-21 May the God of Mercy Who was moved for pity of the vast crowds teach you to always love your love of His Truth.

So we ask in prayer: Dear Merciful God, we pray today for our leaders that they may carry out the wish of the majority for the compassion Your Word teaches us. We pray today for our need to be more giving and less concerned with self and sin. We ask this through Christ our LORD. Amen.

Humanity Will Share in His Pity Today

Is giving a sacrifice for you?
Can you give without wanting too
It seem hard to fathom life lived thin
Fruitful allowances give Christ His win

Defer to the leaders of the world
Give obedience as in God’s Word
There’s is accountable prayer to vast award
Agreeance to accomplish His Will in truthful implore

Pleasing to carry out is His love accord
We live to accomplish His Will in peace galore
The beauty of our LORD Jesus Christ to be
Living vast surrender to His loving faithfully

Waters of stillness guide my soul
A dark valley giving Light’s reward
Courageous love from foes defeat
Dwelling in His House forever retreat

Apostle’s gathering to tell of His Will
Lifting spirits and satan’s spells
Even in a deserted place to pray
Humanity will share in His Pity today

Let mutual love continue. Do not neglect hospitality, for through it some have unknowingly entertained angels

Wig’s Word of God Today 2-4-2011

Let mutual love continue. Do not neglect hospitality, for through it some have unknowingly entertained angels. Hebrews 13:1-2

Let your life be free from love of money but be content with what you have, for he has said, I will never forsake you or abandon you. Hebrews 13:5

Hebrews 13:1-8, Psalm 27:1, 3, 5, 8b-9abc & Mark 6:14-29

There are times you will be walking along and encounter people you used to cross the street to avoid. Now you are afforded courage in the LORD that takes you right to them. Many of you may still be afraid (“What can anyone do to me?”) but I ask you to consider what God has given us in His Son’s Redemption and look this brother or sister in the eye and say hello. There are people everywhere who are homeless, wondering lonely and afraid who you can see Christ in their eyes by your courage when you pray with them or console them by just talking to them. Not all of these “Angels” are seeking money or handouts. Many are seeking faith, hope and compassion. Many need someone to acknowledge them for who they are and not be afraid of them. When you see someone in need, “Let mutual love continue. Do not neglect hospitality, for through it some have unknowingly entertained angels.”

How many of you call you spouse your “Soul-Mate in Christ?” I remember asking God to send me someone who was “fervent” in the LORD. Someone who loved Jesus. Amen. And like a miracle there she was asking God to send her someone too who loved Jesus. My wife Toni is the blessing God afforded me because of my commitment to His Word and living His Truth. She is the Light of Christ I need every day of my life and I cherish her by my words, my actions and my faith in Christ Jesus. I purposely tell her every day of her life she is the most beautiful woman in the world. I leave her a flower on her car door handle every day because I want her to know I’m madly in love with her. She’s a joy to love and my prayer warrior. We are as One in Christ and the reason why I changed my name to reflect our love of Jesus. We love our love of Jesus together. Pray to God to keep your marriage “honored among all” and filled with the Will of God.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today for all people t receive the mutual love of Truth. We pray for all marriages that they are ruled by the love of Christ and not the love of money. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

God Bless,
Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins
Romans 8:28

His Truth Came From God’s Only Seed

Love of all people for humanity’s sake
Hospitality the key to show them His Way
Angels may be many you courageously say
Jesus Christ has called me to stop and to pray

Think of those who are imprisoned for hate
Garnish prayers for the love they negate
Lift them up and pray for them in Truth
Many will seek the understanding to prove

Marriage is to be One in Christ
God’s Only Son seeks Your love’s right
No desire of money or sensual lust
Undefiled and free to completely Trust

“The Lord is my helper,
and I will not be afraid.
What can anyone do to me?”
Sharing Christ in my life’s parade.

Leaders pray to act in Truth
Do not be fooled by Satan’s noose
Seek the justice lead by God’s Word
He is yesterday, today and tomorrow heard

Christ was more than a Prophet indeed
His Truth came from God’s only seed
Herod was jealous of the man in cloth
Beheading John was a dreadful loss

God the judge of all, and the spirits of the just made perfect, and Jesus, the mediator of a New Covenant

Wig’s Word of God Today 2-3-2011

God the judge of all, and the spirits of the just made perfect, and Jesus, the mediator of a New Covenant, and the sprinkled Blood that speaks more eloquently than that of Abel. Hebrews 12:23c-24

Hebrews 12:18-19, 21-24, Psalm 48:2-3ab, 3cd-4, 9, 10-11 & Mark 6:7-13

The writer of Hebrews offers a comparison of the two covenants announced by God; Moses and Jesus. The first covenant of Moses is described as a covenant of fear where God punishes those who do not comply with the teachings of Moses. The second covenant supersedes the first and gives us Jesus allowing us direct access to God by His proclamation of love described as God’s children to live in harmony in a Christina community. The author describes that it is a graver sin not to abide by the Words of Christ than to heed the words of Moses. The author reminds us the Kingdom of Christ will always be with us for our God lives forever but if Christians fall away from the church God’s justice will ultimately punish those who reject the teachings of Christ.

The Apostolate Walk of Twelve should remind all people that the love of God will protect you where ever you may go giving you the ability to share the Christ’s love with anyone to accomplish healing and life-changing Redemption to those you meet. We are all on our own Walk with Jesus where we either choose to surrender to His Teachings or become a closet Christian. God wants us all to practice our faith with friends and strangers alike to share the Redemption His Son’s Blood gave to all Humanity. There’s more to learn in this Walk of Christ by your practice than you may realize and until you completely empty your soul of selfish needs, your surrender will not be complete. Guide your love of loving Christ to read your Bible daily, share your prayers with strangers and proclaim the Gospel with joy in your heart.

And so we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray our walk in life is an example of Christ’s Apostles teaching the love He commanded us to share. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

God Bless,
Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins

Why DO I

Why do I love to wonder?
Why do I seek Your face?
Why do I return to honor?
Why do I enjoy my fate?

I watch you grow amongst a wonder
I watch you seek to know this Truth
I watch you grasp His forever knowledge
I watch you love His Redemptive proof

Why do I love to honor?
Why do I love Your Truth?
Why do I love his promise?
Why do I love to choose?

I surrender all for a love abundant
I surrender all for Salvation’ due
I surrender all to see Your Kingdom
I surrender all for the glory of Truth

The child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom; and the favor of God was upon Him

Wig’s Word of God Today 2-2-2011

The child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom; and the favor of God was upon Him.  Luke 22:40

Malachi 3:1-4, Psalm 24:7, 8, 9, 10, Hebrews 2:14-18 & Luke 2:22-40 or 2:22-32

I can only imagine what it must of been like to be a childhood friend of Jesus. Watching Him grow and becoming filled with wisdom studying the Jewish writings of the day. It must have been hard to keep up with Him. Our spiritual walk with Jesus is much in the same way; slow cookin’ if you will. It takes time to get to know the One only True God by living the Gospel of Christ Jesus. As you grow with God, your self reliance becomes less and less until one day you realize that everything you do is for the LORD.

This loss of self you experience becomes a time for true celebration for now you truly know that only God’s Will is what you live for. A life of Christ comes into focus and your complete surrender and dependence on His Truth gives you strength and power through the Holy Spirit. You might not truly see His Strength by His Spirit until then and it may take years to accomplish but your love of loving Christ will come into clear focus by practice, prayer and proclamation. Stay patient with others and remember how God has dealt with you over the years; with compassion and patience.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray we may always walk in patience of growing in wisdom with You. Teach us to be humble filled with faith, hope, charity and love. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

God Bless,
Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins

Redemption Favor For All to Be

A Messenger of love has come
A New Covenant for all to see
To the Temple did He go
Proclaiming Redemption for you and me

Sharing His Blood and Flesh for all
Sins dying a complete death in thee
No longer a slave to demonic passions
Angels to guide you to see

The wisdom of God growing
From a sinless life indeed
Glory for all the people
Redemption favor for all to be

Jesus said to the synagogue official, “Do not be afraid; just have faith.”

Wig’s Word of God Today 2-1-2011

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us rid ourselves of every burden and sin that clings to us and persevere in running the race that lies before us while keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the leader and perfecter of faith. Hebrews 12:1-2a

Jesus said to the synagogue official, “Do not be afraid; just have faith.” Mark 5:36b

Hebrews 12:1-4, Psalm 22:26b-27, 28 and 30, 31-32 & Mark 5:21-43

We have been given a Leader Who perfected the faith by sharing His Blood of a New Covenant love with all Humanity. We are reminded today that we are a vast number of people described as a “cloud of witnesses” that should “rid ourselves of every burden and sin that clings to us and persevere in running the race that lies before us while keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus.” Amen! Today we are up against an onslaught of Satan’s evil spirits on every corner in the world. So many people are continuing to live for their own selfish pleasures instead of seeking the Way and the Truth to accomplish faith, hope, charity and love. Today I am thanking God for allowing me to meet a woman who created the website called “Keep God in America” for the purpose of reintroducing America to our Creator Who authored the Constitution through Divine Guidance of our Founding Fathers. It is with much pleasure and humble servitude that I have accepted an opportunity to write about the most important topic in the United States today; Keeping God in America.

I am reminded today as I study Hebrews that the “great cloud of witnesses” needs to come together for the Glory of God being thankful for His Word which guided our Founding Fathers to create the first Free Nation in the world. Our Free Nation must remember the words of Psalm 115:3, ” “Our God is in heaven; whatever God wills is done.” He Willed the creation of our country to have a land where we can be free to worship and praise our LORD. James Madison once wrote, “”Whilst we assert for ourselves a freedom to embrace, to profess, and to observe the religion which we believe to be of divine origin, we cannot deny an equal freedom to those whose minds have not yet yielded to the evidence which has convinced us. If this freedom be abused, it is an offence against God, not against man: To God therefore, not to men, must an account of it be rendered.” To God is the Glory for ever and ever. Amen. You can learn more about their site at www.KeepGodinAmerica.com and will see my writing there soon.

I think of a man daily as I write because of a DVD of Hillsong Live he lent us called “Faith + Hope + Love” which had a sticker I placed on my desk above my keyboard. This man is Chris Santello and we have been praying for his healing for the last year and a half. Today is his memorial and I will always remember the last time we saw him at his home where we prayed with him often and read Scripture to him because my wife and I laid hands on him praying over him as the song “I will exalt You” from Hillsong played. All three of us called out to the LORD together as tears streamed down our faces being thankful to Worship the One and Only True God. Chris was a peaceful soul fervent in the LORD and his love of God impacted our lives. I am singing the song now, “Because You are with me, I will not fail. My hiding place, my safe refuge. My treasured LORD You are. My Prince and King, Anointed One. Most Holy.” Rest in peace as Christ cradles you my friend Chris Santello. “I will Exalt You, you are my God Sing Hallelujah for the King has carried the Cross and Risen from the grave.”

So we ask in prayer: My LORD and My God, today we pray Chris Santello enjoys the joys of heaven’s songs LORD. We pray we come together as a cloud of people to give You all the Glory for everything we have. Rid us of self LORD to only worship Your Son’s Truth. We ask this through Christ our LORD Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God forever and ever. Amen.

God Bless,
Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins

Truth Healed by the Lamb

It is Your love LORD
Bringing peace to Humanity
Cloud of burden lifted
Christ’s love of joy to see

He endured the Cross
Blood for me and for you
Grow weary not
His Truth presided its due

A daughter of death
Rose by His hands
Someone touched His cloak
Truth healed by the Lamb

God had foreseen something better for us, so that without us they should not be made perfect

Wig’s Word of God Today 1-31-2011

God had foreseen something better for us, so that without us they should not be made perfect. Hebrews 11:40

Hebrews 11:32-40, Psalm 31:20, 21, 22, 23, 24 & Mark 5:1-20

The prophets, who by faith conquered kingdoms, did what was righteous, obtained the promises; they closed the mouths of lions, put out raging fires, escaped the devouring sword; out of weakness they were made powerful, became strong in battle, and turned back foreign invaders.” Hebrews 11:33-34 By faith the prophets of old were able to conquer all in their path by their belief in the One and Only True God. It wasn’t until Christ came that they were made perfect through His Redemptive Death on a Cross. They enjoy every aspect of Redemption in Heaven by the fullness of Christ’s death even though many people today still do not know the Redemption they possess by the Blood of Christ Jesus.

If you have a desire to accomplish your own holiness in the LORD, then Redemption is not your pure focus of living. By centering your life on His Redemption you allow yourself to be made useful in the Spirit of God to accomplish the abandonment of self and thus being totally surrendered to the Will of God. You seek to share the Gospel of Christ in everything you do. You have to live in a reality of the Gospel to provide everyone you encounter the opportunity to know Christ’s Redemption. By loving your love of Christ you live in the reality of Redemption to practice, pray and proclaim the Gospel.

In prayer we ask: Dear LORD, we pray for Margaret Anderson under going surgery today. Keep her safe LORD. We pray we live a life centered on the Redemption Your Son brought to humanity. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

God Bless,
Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins

Faith foresees Truth to expel

Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you (falsely) because of Me

Wig’s Word of God Today 1-30-2011

Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you (falsely) because of Me. Matthew 5:11

As it is written, “Whoever boasts, should boast in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:31

Zephaniah 2:3; 3:12-13, Psalm 146:6-7, 8-9, 9-10, 1 Corinthians 1:26-31 & Matthew 5:1-12a

There is a great need to shelter yourself from evil by listening to the Prophets of old. Zephaniah was a prophet during the reign of Josiah occurring during 640-609 B.C. describing a warning to those who worshipped false idols that by their observance of the law they will hopefully be sheltered by the life they lead in God. False idols surround us today on every corner driving millions to satisfy their own selfish desires to love not the LORD but the worship of money and success. As an Apostle of Jesus Christ I beg you all to “seek the LORD, all you humble of the earth, who have observed his law; Seek justice, seek humility; perhaps you may be sheltered on the day of the LORD’S anger.” Zephaniah 2:3 Do you seek justice and humility in your life?

How many of us really live the calling of the LORD? Paul describes not the proud but the lowly to obtain greatness from God by not boasting in one’s self but rather the One Who gave us life in Christ Jesus. We must all seek humility and boast in Christ as Paul states “It is due to Him that you are in Christ Jesus, Who became for us wisdom from God, as well as righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Whoever boasts, should boast in the LORD.” 1 Corinthians 1:30-31 Jesus teaches us in Matthew 5 the principles we should live our life by helping the poor in spirit, comforting those who mourn, giving a hand to the meek, feeding the hungry, applauding the merciful and showing mercy ourselves, living a clean life free of sin, being a peacemaker (the true Children of God), and defending the one who is righteous in the name of the LORD. Christ has promised us; “blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you (falsely) because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven.” Matthew 5:11-12a You live all these principles by loving your love of Christ Jesus! Amen.

In prayer we ask: Dear Abba Father, we pray today for the healing of Alba Diaz who ministers to the imprisoned. We pray for those who persecute us because of our love of loving You LORD. May we always boast in You for the Salvation we receive by Your Son’s Truth and Blood. We pray this in the Name above all Names, Jesus Christ. Amen.

God Bless,
Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins

The Life Lived in a Clean Heart

Humble earth dwellers
The law should be observed
Seek not false idols of self
Seek the Truth in God’s Word

A remnant will dwell amongst you
Lies will never cross their tongue
Living in harmony of God the Father
His Will they will live to be done

A calling all should consider
One boasting in not one’s self
But living the life of the meek
The Wisdom of God to be felt

Blessed are you who seek His Ways
Comforting the hope of all who afford
The life lived in a clean heart
Obtaining true joy in Heaven’s reward

Faith is the realization of what is hoped for and evidence of things not seen

Wig’s Wortd of God Today 1-29-2011

Faith is the realization of what is hoped for and evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

Then he asked them, “Why are you terrified? Do you not yet have faith?”  Mark 4:40

Hebrews 11:1-2, 8-19, Luke 1:69-70, 71-72, 73-75 & Mark 4:35-41

When you capture the faith of Christ, you can take on the world! Amen! There comes a time in everyone’s walk with God that your faith comes into clear focus and your spirituality and honor become real in His purpose for your life. You put away worldly things and focus on the Glory of God by giving faith, hope charity and love back to those who ask for it and those who need it the most. You’ll come to this point that fright leaves you to accomplish the unknown by trusting God with everything. Many a Biblical Scholar has argued who wrote the letter to the Hebrews but one thing is for sure, it brings about a chronological order from Genesis to the life of Christ displaying the meaning of what living for God accomplishes to persevere for the Promise of Everlasting Life.

Our faith rests only on the Redemption of Christ’s death. His life draws on every aspect of living in challenges to overcome by His faith our Father would Redeem Him in His Resurrection. God became Man to accomplish the New Covenant of love and give us an example of how to live in a real joy of loving life by His example of faith, hope, and love of the LORD. God teaches us by example in the life Christ lead while he was here. Humanity must know that God is concerned with our conduct and therefore gave us instructions to live by in His Word and life of His Son Christ Jesus. By living in great awe of the LORD, you are living a life of faith in His Promise of Everlasting Life and can accomplish His Will by this love of loving Jesus’ Truth.

In prayer we ask: Dear LORD, we pray for faith to sustain a walk confident in living Your Will. Keep us grounded in You by our practice, our prayer and our proclamation. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

God Bless,
Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins
Romans 8:28

The Souls of the Faithful Promise is Near

Realize His call for you
Faith in His promise so true
Hope of joys not seen
Evidence lived in a life pristine

An inheritance awaits for you
Abraham’s promise came true
Fruitful powerful faith at an old age
Sarah delivered Truth in history’s page

Count the stars in the sky
His descendants equal and abide
By the Promise God made to rely
Seashores sands could never hide

Asleep in a boat was God’s Only Son
Awaken in fear by the Apostles tongue
His power calmed the wind to cheer
The souls of the faithful Promise is near
