Then someone said to me, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-19-2010

Then someone said to me, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.”  Revelation 10:11

Revelation 10:8-11, Psalm 119:14, 24, 72, 103, 111, 131 & Luke 19:45-48

The Angel tells John to eat the small scroll saying, “Take and swallow it. It will turn your stomach sour, but in your mouth it will taste as sweet as honey.”  Everything I have read on this statement points to “The Father of Judaism” in Ezekiel 3:1-3, “He said to me: Son of man, eat what is before you; eat this scroll, then go, speak to the house of Israel. So I opened my mouth and he gave me the scroll to eat. Son of man, he then said to me, feed your belly and fill your stomach with this scroll I am giving you. I ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth.” The prophet foretold troubling events but the Word of God is as sweet as honey to those who accept it and act upon it. Here in Revelation it is told to represent the final victory of God’s people and I believe we will experience this here in the United States as model for the world.

The House of the Lord is “a house of prayer, (not) a den of thieves” as Jesus tells the people who have turned the Temple into a Flea Market. His point drives home the message of how imperative it is to keep the House of God “Holy Ground.” How many of you feel this when you are at your church of choice? Do the surroundings feel special and lifted by the Spirit? Do the people around you seem to walk in the Spirit bringing with them a feeling of faith, hope, charity and love? Does the Word of God enter your mind, depart from your lips and reside in your heart there? As you sit back and take it all in, can you look over your community and see the Holy Spirit affecting the people? Well my friends if you do, then you understand what Jesus meant by saying: “My house shall be a house of prayer!” Amen.

And so we pray: Heavenly Father, we continue our nine day prayer of peace and healing for Christ Santello. Today I pray especially for my mother whom I am praying she has a very special 70th birthday. May you keep her safe and full of Your love. Thank you Lord for Your Word which is as sweet as honey and our places of prayer and instruction. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

If this day you only knew what makes for peace–but now it is hidden from your eyes

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-18-2010

If this day you only knew what makes for peace–but now it is hidden from your eyes. Luke 19:42

Revelation 5:1-10, Psalm 149:1b-2, 3-4, 5-6a and 9b & Luke 19:41-44

There comes a time in all of our lives we must either accept or deny God Who came to the earth in the form of a man to share His New Covenant by becoming sinless in all ways and proving His love for all humanity by allowing to be nailed to a Cross for the sins of the world. Here in Revelation 5 John describes a scroll held by God which details the Divine Plan for all mankind and there is only One Who can carry out this divine plan; Christ Jesus, the Lamb of God! Hallelujah! “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him might not perish but might have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. Whoever believes in Him will not be condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the Name of the only Son of God.” John 3:16-18

There is only one Who mediates peace in the world and that’s Jesus Christ. Christ’s ultimate death on the Cross would not and could not be understood by the Apostles who thought they would do anything to protect Him. We learned different in the denying of Christ by Peter and we have to remember that if we deny Christ, He will also deny us. “This saying is trustworthy: If we have died with Him we shall also live with Him; if we persevere we shall also reign with Him. But if we deny Him He will deny us. If we are unfaithful He remains faithful, for He cannot deny himself.” 2 Timothy 11-13 Hidden from their eyes was a Mystery before His Death and Resurrection that seemed so complex to understand. A Truth the Apostles would share with the world that would change Humanity forever.

And so we pray: My Lord and My God, we continue our 9-day of prayers of healing and peace for Chris Santello. We pray today for all those seeking employment that they may find work by their love of You. We pray for all those who asked us to pray for them and anyone who we said we would pray for.  We have continued prayers to accomplish Your Will in our lives and we ask this in Jesus Name. Amen.

Worthy are you, Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things; because of your will they came to be and were created

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-17-2010

“Worthy are you, Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things; because of your will they came to be and were created.” Revelation 4:11

Revelation 4:1-11, Psalm 150:1b-2, 3-4, 5-6, & Luke 19:11-28

John’s vision continues in Chapter 4 of Revelation as he is swept up in a spirit and enters the doors of Heaven. There he encounters the Throne of God where an image of majestic wonders surround His heavenly seat including gold and emeralds all which suggest the majesty of God. Sitting amongst Him are the 24 Elders who represent the 24 Tribes of Israel constantly giving praise to our God. I believe many of us want to constantly praise God in the same way but we haven’t figured out how to do this. How can we praise God all time? I mean, we have a family, a career and bills to pay, right? But the Book of Revelation gives us this imagery to accomplish the Will of God here on earth and by our lives; we can praise God continually in everything we do. What’s the first breath from your mouth when you get up in the morning? My wife and I say together, “in the Name of the Father Who created me, in the Name of Son Who Redeemed me and in the Name of the Holy Spirit Who sanctifies me, we offer You this day we are about to take on. You can praise God in all you do. There is nothing holding you back from talking to God all the time offering everything you are doing in His Name. Call on the Lord for everything. Give Him His due praise. And you too will see the Glory of the Lord! Hallelujah!

Luke 19 gives us the Parable with two themes: the Parable of the Productive Servant and the Parable of the Rejected King. Both allow us to understand even today the needs of being productive for Christ all the time while recognizing even He was rejected by many while establishing the New Covenant here on earth. Take each day as an opportunity to do more for the Lord. Look for ways to share the Kingdom of Heaven proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus to bring Eternal Salvation for those who choose. Just as Christ was rejected, He explains to us that we will be pitted against even our own families in sharing the Good News of Christ Jesus. But do not dismay, be ever diligent for the Lord and seek not to accomplish your own will but seek to accomplish the Will of God. Only through His love and guidance can we become all God intends for us to be. By loving your love of Christ, you are a productive servant even when people put you down and are judgmental towards you.

And so we pray: Dear Lord, we continue our nine days of prayers of peace and healing for Chris Santello. We pray today for the Fort Myers Emmaus Team and candidates this weekend. I offer a prayer of thanksgiving for prayers answered for a friend and I ask Lord to use everyone who reads my study to be productive servants for Your Glory. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Those whom I love, I reprove and chastise. Be earnest, therefore, and repent

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-16-2010

Those whom I love, I reprove and chastise. Be earnest, therefore, and repent. Revelation 3:19

Revelation 3:1-6, 14-22, Psalm 15:2-3a, 3bc-4ab, 5 & Luke 19:1-10

When you read the book of Revelation, you experience an enormous amount of symbolism. From white garments representing the people who live an upright life to eye ointment removing spiritual blindness, the message was always clear that those who remain faithful will share in the everlasting life of Christ Jesus. We are reminded that God knows everything we do by the written facts in Revelation 3:1-3, “I know your works, that you have the reputation of being alive, but you are dead. Be watchful and strengthen what is left, which is going to die, for I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God. Remember then how you accepted and heard; keep it, and repent. If you are not watchful, I will come like a thief, and you will never know at what hour I will come upon you.”

Psalm 15 speaks of such joy in loving our own as ourselves. Within our families, our neighbors/co-workers and our friends, we all want to be loved and treated with respect. If you make your life a model of Psalm 15:2-5, and walk in a complete surrender to in loving your love of Christ, you too will inherit Eternal Life. “Whoever walks without blame, doing what is right, speaking truth from the heart; Who does not slander a neighbor, does no harm to another, never defames a friend; Who disdains the wicked, but honors those who fear the LORD; Who keeps an oath despite the cost, lends no money at interest, accepts no bribe against the innocent. Whoever acts like this shall never be shaken.”  Christ came to find what was lost and give to those in need.

And so we pray: Heavenly Father, we continue our nine day prayers of healing and peace for Chris Santello. We pray for those lost in the world by the Evil One’s grip of addictions. We pray for the hungry, those seeking abortions, those seeking employment and those who are homeless and cold. May Your Love warm their souls and keep them safe. I pray today for my brother Colen Christopher Wiggins who celebrates his 47th birthday today. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Giving All No Matter the Cost

The Lord is saying to me
Your works I enjoy to see
Stay alive in My Son to be
Repenting for Salvation’s glee

He may come in the night like a thief
Your life will end without being complete
Seek not your will by the Will of Him
Ever ready for the hour to join your kin

Dressed in white from living life right
Giving and not taking to be fruitful in sight
Rejoicing in the Lord and seeking the Light
Admonishing evil and ugliness of plight

Stand at the door and knock to get in
Victorious and joyful with a heavenly grin
Arm-n-arm with Christ on the Throne
God’s chosen Son forever sown

In your heart think with Truth
No one slandered as Christ-like proof
Harm not your fellow man
Neighborly love lived doing all you can

Give all you have to the person in need
Life’s expectations are not sin and greed
He wants you to find those who are lost
Giving all no matter the cost

Realize how far you have fallen. Repent, and do the works you did at first

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-15-2010

Realize how far you have fallen. Repent, and do the works you did at first. Revelation 2:5a

Revelation 1:1-4; 2:1-5, Psalm 1:1-2, 3, 4 and 6 & Luke 18:35-43

Many would agree that the Book of Revelation has many symbolic messages that are hard to understand. This much we do know: God sent an angel to John “who gives witness to the Word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ by reporting what he saw.” Revelation 1:2  This book’s message is just as important today as it was when it was written by John to express to the world’s churches that we should hold fast to the promise of Christ Jesus Who is the Beginning and the End allowing our fears, our worries and our sins to be shouldered by Him. Remember, no matter how far you fallen a way from His love in sin, He will always forgive you and welcome you into His arms of love.

Time and time again through the Gospels you will hear Jesus say: “your faith has saved you go in peace.” Not once can you find the words my power has saved you hence by faith we are afforded the Salvation Jesus Christ gives all humanity by His death on the Cross. The blind man from Jericho believed that Jesus Christ could give him sight and through his faith he was healed. The Will of God must be celebrated through all things by faith, hope, charity and love. There are those times when someone close to us is not healed and go through terrible instances of medical problems that we cannot understand and no matter how much we pray they succumb to the illness. It is precisely during these times that we must celebrate the Will of God as the destiny for this person.

Last Saturday my wife and I visited a very close friend who checked himself into the hospital after experiencing dizziness and weakness from the end results of chemotherapy. He was recently told that his chemotherapy has now saturated his system and he cannot receive any more to heal his cancer. He told us he was given a new drug for cancer therapy that would make him feel as if he was going through menopause. He would be sweaty one moment; he would cry uncontrollably the next and his emotions were up and down during our visit. He asked if I would relay to my prayer warriors that they pray for the Lord’s Will to be done for Chris Santello. He feels the Lord is calling him home soon. This is the same man I recently wrote about who shared Christ’s love with a cashier in a Home Depot affecting her life forever. In loving your love of Christ, you accept all things as the Will of the Lord and you celebrate this Love no matter what you are experiencing in your life. Please pray for Chris Santello.

And so we pray: Heavenly Father, today we pray Your Will be done in the life of Chris Santello. We pray especially for You to give him peace and eliminate his fear Lord. We pray for those today who have fallen away from the church that someone somewhere may touch their heart and allow them to return to the bosom of Christ. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen

Weary and tired of sin
Repentance of ugliness needed
Salvation from the Lamb to win

A life to lead in Truth
Fed by waters of Salvation

All people gave praise to prove

You will be hated by all because of My name, but not a hair on your head will be destroyed. By your perseverance you will secure your lives.

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-14-2010

You will be hated by all because of My name, but not a hair on your head will be destroyed. By your perseverance you will secure your lives. Luke 21:17-19

Malachi 3:19-20a, Psalm 98:5-6, 7-8, 9, 2 Thessalonians 3:7-12 & Luke 21:5-19

A Hebrew writer wishing to conceal his identity because of his sharp criticisms of the rulers and people of the time coined the phrase from a Hebrew expression ” Malachi” translating to “my messenger”
detailed the day when the Lord will come and “all the proud and all evildoers will be stubble, And the day that is coming will set them on fire, leaving them neither root nor branch, says the LORD of hosts. But for you who fear My Name, there will arise the sun of justice with its healing rays.” Malachi 3:19

When I read two Thessalonians verse 3:7-12, I am reminded of something my grandfather and grandmother on my father’s side said to my brother and sister and I one summer when we went to visit them on their farm where there was no running water or inside plumbing. They said, “when you’re in public you must make sure that you act with total respect of your elders. This means no horseplay or messing around as to make sure you show no disrespect. In our house you work for everything you get. Each one of you will have chores to do that will earn your keep while you are here the summer.” The sounds and smells of my grandparents farm are so vivid in my mind even to this day. Fresh bacon frying before sunrise with the aroma of fresh homemade biscuits baking in the oven. Pigs grunting and roosters crowing. My grandfather and my grandmother were a model of American citizens who worked hard each and every day to accomplish the Will of God. God-fearing reading us the bible often during our stay.

Just as Paul explains in 2 Thessalonians 3:7-12 “For you know how one must imitate us. For we did not act in a disorderly way among you, nor did we eat food received free from anyone. On the contrary, in toil and drudgery, night and day we worked, so as not to burden any of you. Not that we do not have the right. Rather, we wanted to present ourselves as a model for you, so that you might imitate us. In fact, when we were with you, we instructed you that if anyone was unwilling to work, neither should that one eat. We hear that some are conducting themselves among you in a disorderly way, by not keeping busy but minding the business of others. Such people we instruct and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to work quietly and to eat their own food.”

To many people in today’s world are acting in total disrespect believing that everything should be just given it to them by the sweat and tears of everyday hard-working Americans. Each and every day I pray that I am a model of Christian behavior to imitate and seek advice from. I want to give more than I receive but I believe everyone who has a strong mind and body can find work somewhere to accomplish the Will of God of living. I’d give the shirt off my back to people who need clothes. I’d give the food that I have to people who are hungry. But I believe the people of America need to stand up and stop demanding our government give them everything and instead come together to create blood, sweat and tears to make a better America. The values our country was created on have not changed and these God-fearing values need to be reintroduced to society. This will only happen by each of us living a life Paul explains throughout his writings in the New Testament. I beg of you not to just read your Bible but to live your Bible each day sharing the Good News of Christ Jesus.

Jesus is warning us in the Luke 21:8 not to follow the people who come in His Name stating the time has come. “See that you not be deceived, for many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he,’ and ‘The time has come.’ Do not follow them!” He reminds us not to be afraid when people seize us because of our love of Him and our belief of His Gospel stating not to worry about what we are to say when presented to you the testimony. “Remember, you are not to prepare your defense beforehand, for I myself shall give you a wisdom in speaking that all your adversaries will be powerless to resist or refute.” Luke 21-14-15 When you are loving your love of Christ, your ability to share His Truth will be undeniable in your manner of speaking all for the Glory of God. Hallelujah!

And so we pray: Dear God, we pray today to be model citizens and our great country by working hard and sharing the Truth of Christ Jesus. We fill our mind, our voice, our hearts and souls with the Truth of Your love. Give us the desire to share hope, faith, charity and love in the Name of Your Son Jesus Christ. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

God bless,

All Wisdom You Will Speak

Coming is the day
Evildoers will say
My soul is on fire to pay
For life I led astray

The world is ruled in Justice
No man can escape this Truth
Humanity that dwells within it
Must seek the Gospel as proof

Disorderly conduct is unbecoming
Imitate the Christ-like man to choose
Where all sins are truly forgiven
The Blood of the Lamb is for me and you

Do not be a burden
Work hard for all you do
No handouts for the unwilling
To accept work in His Name to prove

Believe not in the false prophets
Who come saying he is the Messiah of truth
He hides behind the walls of Satan
To steal your soul for his use

Because of His Name they will hate you
Not to worry His love will prove
All wisdom you will speak
Will be impossible for them to refute

Will not God then secure the rights of His chosen ones who call out to Him day and night? Will He be slow to answer them?

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-13-2010

Will not God then secure the rights of his chosen ones who call out to him day and night? Will he be slow to answer them? Luke 18:7

3 John 5-8, Psalm 112:1-2, 3-4, 5-6 & Luke 18:1-8

The Presbyter writes the Third Letter of John to a specific person named Gaius who was hospitable to missionaries in the past. His letter reminds me of hospitable followers of Christ everywhere who go beyond the call of duty as many people may say. But I beg to differ: Beyond the call is not over the top. There is doing as much as you can in the Name of all Names to accomplish the Will of God in your life. There is nothing we can do to stop a person from choosing his own free will God so rightly gave us to accomplish the necessary items of survival and pleasure. Our God will rightly judge you and it is not our place to pass judgment on anyone. When you can be “faithful in all you do for the brothers (and Sisters), especially for strangers,” you are testifying of your love of God without expectation of rewards or praise. You are guiding the love Christ by sharing the Truth His love can do to anyone for anything.

The Parable of the Persistent Widow is such an important aspect of living daily life in prayer. I tell people they should practice the Three P’s of Christian Life: Practice (read your bible daily, Pray unceasingly over everything you do and Proclaim the Gospel with confidence. Jesus reminds us in this parable to pray constantly being ever aware of God in your life as you accomplish His Will for living. God’s graces flow in abundance for those who seek His Pleasure of living and there is nothing you can’t do when you call upon the Name of Jesus. Amen. Hallelujah! Many of you read about the man I hit on his bicycle in my study one month ago yesterday. I believe God protected both of us and as I have mentioned, the bicyclist was unhurt. But now he has decided to allow “the system” to file a claim against my insurance company for an accident that wasn’t my fault. His blame written in the report explains how he was negligent for not wearing the safety items necessary to be seen in the dark. So I call on the Lord to guide me and I ask all of you to pray for this man and me. In loving your love of Christ, we must learn to forgive and forget those who trespass against us and pray unceasingly for protection and God’s judgment.

And so we pray: Heavenly Father, use my life as Your witness to Truth afforded to us by the Blood of Your Son. Guide our free will to accomplish faith, hope, charity and love. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

God Bless,

Anyone who is so “progressive” as not to remain in the teaching of the Christ does not have God; whoever remains in the teaching has the Father and the Son

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-12-2010

Anyone who is so “progressive” as not to remain in the teaching of the Christ does not have God; whoever remains in the teaching has the Father and the Son. 2 John 9

2 John 4-9, Psalm 119:1, 2, 10, 11, 17, 18 & Luke 17:26-37

People who remain in Christ’s teachings, Christ will remain in them. Seems so simple doesn’t it? But our world is full of the Evil One’s tricks and flashy colors creating false desires of the heart which are acted upon creating a life of demise and shame. There are those who act on God’s commandments living a life of faith, hope, charity and love giving witness to the Father’s Truth in sharing by being the feet and hands of God Almighty. Yesterday, I wrote about a friend who has called out in desperation after losing his car, his home and his teeth in sin being lived. His need is more than just help to get his car back to start a job, it’s his need of soul-repair by surrendering to a life of Christ. He needs one-on-one with Godly people who carry the Cross proudly and speak of His Truth with love and affection. One of these people came forward last night to help him get his car back and hopefully turn his life around. I know this person has no regret in serving the Lord for their happiness resides in God the Father by acting on His Son’s Gospel. The unknown Presbyter who wrote 2 John describes the Truth that dwells in us, “because of the Truth that dwells in us and will be with us forever.”  This Truth is everlasting and will guide the human race for all eternity. The person who came forward to help my friend came forward as the writer did in 2 John, unknown but living in the Truth of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Do you live this Truth? or Do you live a life of lies?

Christ finished His discussion with the disciples by sharing what happened to those who did not believe in God’s Truth. People not accepting Noah’s Ark as God’s plan to save them were washed away in the flood. The day Lot left Sodom, fire and brimstone rained down on them while they were eating and drinking and buying and selling destroying them all. Christ reminds us, “Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses it will save it. I tell you, on that night there will be two people in one bed; one will be taken, the other left. And there will be two women grinding meal together; one will be taken, the other left.” They said to Him in reply, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where the body is, there also the vultures will gather.” Luke 17: 33-37  Christ’s message is clear: be patient and always forthcoming in the Lord so you too will be ready when called for the Kingdom of Heaven and not taken where the vultures will be to devour your unfaithful and sinful body. In loving your love of Christ, you become ever vigilant in practice of reading your bible, in praying unceasingly and proclaiming the Gospel of Salvation to always be ready to give, to hope and to love.

And so we pray: My Lord and My God, I pray today for the unknown love you guide us to give by Your Son’s description of of giving by stating in Matthew 6:3-4, “do not let your left hand know what your right is doing, so that your almsgiving may be secret. And your Father who sees in secret will repay you.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

No Vultures Will Gather Within

Truth in a walk
Seen with a smile
Children of God playing
No Evil One’s vile

Each other to love
His Commandment did state
A walk in His Truth
No sins to associate

Progressive is a lie
Satan’s colorful demise
Knowing not Christ as your guide
To hell you will reside

Christ’s teaching will stand
For all eternity to see
His Salvation everlasting
Remaining forever in thee

My heart does seek You Lord
My feet walk in Your Ways
My eyes see the love of You
Guiding each and every phase

Noah prepared the Ark for Him
Some laughed and wondered by
When it set sail without them
They surely drowned in screams of cries

Fire and brimstone will rain upon
The sinful and liars cry
No vultures will gather within
Those accepting Christ’s Salvation He tied

The coming of the Kingdom of God cannot be observed, and no one will announce, ‘Look, here it is,’ or, ‘There it is.’ For behold, the Kingdom of God is among you

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-11-10

“The coming of the Kingdom of God cannot be observed, and no one will announce, ‘Look, here it is,’ or, ‘There it is.’ For behold, the Kingdom of God is among you.” Luke 17: 20-21

Philemon 7-20, Psalm 146:7, 8-9a, 9bc-10 & Luke 17:20-25

The conversion of a slave troubles Paul when he writes the slave’s master Philemon asking him to accept his slave back as not just a slave but a Brother in Christ. In many ways the letter to Philemon asks if he can use the slave as someone who can teach the Gospel of Christ Jesus but did not want to just keep the slave without proper consent. Paul expresses that even though his slave has run away from him, this was necessary to convert him to Christianity and now he can be useful to share the Truth of being a slave to Christ Jesus.

Yesterday, I received a call from a life-long friend who has battled drug, sex and alcohol addictions for years. He was sobbing after having his car reprocessed on the same day he was finally offered a job after almost 18 months of unemployment. His home of 25 years is being foreclosed and he’s in total desperation. In his tears I heard a man who is willing to let go and let God take over his life. He has been a slave to the Evil One for almost 15 years and I know in my heart he can be a witness to the Gospel of Christ Jesus. As I sat in a school parking lot allowing the Holy Spirit to lead me in what I was saying to him, my professor walked by unbeknownst to me and listened to me speak to my friend. When I got inside the class, she said, “when I was walking in I heard a voice I recognized but was somehow different. When I noticed it was coming from your car Thomas I heard you speaking in a way of hope and faith directing someone to seek help in the Lord. I was touched immensely by your way of speaking. I hope whoever you were talking to listens to you.”  “I cannot let him sink,” I explained to my professor, “Christ won’t allow me to.” I’m seeking ways to help this man to get his car back so he can start his job. If anyone is willing to help with anything, please let me know.

Christ tells the Pharisees “the coming of the Kingdom of God cannot be observed, and no one will announce, ‘Look, here it is,’ or, ‘There it is.’ For behold, the Kingdom of God is among you” describes what we feel each and every day as we seek to accomplish His Will in our lives. The Kingdom of God is already present in us by sharing the Gospel and healing lost souls by the power of the Holy Spirit in the Name of Christ Jesus. As Jesus continues His discussion about the Kingdom, he explains that those who are not diligent in His Truth can expect swift and unexpected judgment from the Father and be taken without warning. “Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses it will save it. I tell you, on that night there will be two people in one bed; one will be taken, the other left.” Luke 17:33-34 When you give up a life of self and truly learn to give hope, faith, charity and love, your display your love of loving Christ Jesus. Are you willing to “let go and let God” direct your life 100%?

And so we pray: Heavenly Father, today I pray for my friend Bruce who has finally fallen to his knees in need of You. I ask you keep him there Lord allowing him to seek Your guidance to overcome his slavery to the Dark One and become a slave to Your Son’s Truth. Allow him to become a witness and share the Gospel of love for years to come. We pray today for all people who are gripped with Satan’s ugliness in every kind of addiction and that You Lord will heal them and bring our world back to a world of faith, hope, charity and love. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Romans 8:28

Arms Stretched Over the Cross

Joy to experience
The heart of the Holy
Full right in Christ
Given to the lowly

A slave you may be
Gripped by Satan’s demise
Allow Truth to set you free
Christ to be your guide

Become useful in life to see
Sharing the Gospel voluntarily
Paid in full with blood to rinse clean
The sins of humanity

Give food to the hungry
Be Christ’s arms and feet
The oppressed need help
In the Truth they eagerly seek

The Kingdom is at hand
Residing in each of you
Study His Word to learn
Son of Man was rejected to prove

Sins of the world garnished
Shouldered for mankind so true
Arms stretched over the Cross
Salvation for those who choose

For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, deluded, slaves to various desires and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful ourselves and hating one another

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-10-2010

For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, deluded, slaves to various desires and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful ourselves and hating one another. Titus 3:3

Titus 3:1-7, Psalm 23:1b-3a, 3bc-4, 5, 6 & Luke 17:11-19

When did you allow yourselves the opportunity to surrender your life to Christ? Many people can remember where they were during certain events in their life but how many of us can say “I remember when I gave my life to Jesus.” For Paul it was on the road to Damascus being struck by the Light of Christ blinding him for three days. He was “foolish, disobedient, deluded, slaves to various desires and pleasures, living in malice and envy.” He despised “so-called Christians” seeking to eliminate them and their faith. Christ captured his soul and made him a Saint. A Saint who instructs us today 2000 years later with strong words of Divine Nature allowing us to live a Life of Christ. Be obedient to authority. Pray for our leaders whether we like them or not. Share the Truth with others. Be kind. Be patient. Be filled with hope. Give to those less fortunate than you. Have faith. And remember, “when the kindness and generous love of God our Savior appeared, not because of any righteous deeds we had done but because of His mercy, He saved us through the bath of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, Whom He richly poured out on us through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that we might be justified by His grace and become heirs in hope of eternal life.” Titus 1:4-7

Psalm 23 is such a comforting Psalm. Have you ever sung the Psalm out loud to yourself? Try it. There’s no way you can’t smile and be filled with the Spirit of God as you dance and sing His praises. Luke 17-13 describes the cleansing of the 10 lepers as they walked along coming across Jesus and saying, “Jesus, Master! Have pity on us!” Jesus responding with “Go show yourselves to the priests.” When you sing to yourself Psalm 23 think of the one leper after “realizing he had been healed, returned, glorifying God in a loud voice,” and drop to your knees and be thankful to God for all the amazing things you have in your life. Be thankful for the trials and tribulations as well as the fruits and gifts of grace. Allow all you live to be the Will of God and follow Him to share faith, hope, charity and love.  Be thankful in loving your love of Christ and rid yourself of slavery to sin.

And so we pray: My Lord and My God, on my knees I pray for all who read these words of my love of You. May my poetry always Glorify You Lord and may my life be an example of Your Son’s Truth where I share a life of hope, faith, charity and love for each and every person I meet. Guide us Your people back to You just as the one leper who was cleansed ran back Jesus Glorifying His Love forever more. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Romans 8:28

My Faith in Him I Pray

On your knees
As you seek
To sing His praise
Enjoying life’s peak

Be under control
Obedient to authority
Living in His Grace
No slander from your face

Rid yourself of foolishness
Void your life of slavery
No longer look to sinful pleasures
Find joy replacing malice and envy

Love of generosity appeared
Not from our abilities
Mercy from God Almighty cleared
Heirs justified by Christ’s abilities

Want nothing in return
Be safe from Satan’s churn
Courage in daily chores
Dwelling in the House of the Lord

Pity on Humanity He gave
Not all return to give praise
Be thankful to God to say
My faith in Him I pray
