For to me life is Christ, and death is gain

Wig’s Word of God Today 10-30-2010

For to me life is Christ, and death is gain. Philippians 1:21

Philippians, Psalm 42:2, 3, 5cdef & Luke 14:1, 7-11

Paul’s message continues of his hope in the progress of the Gospel whether he is imprisoned or not. He writes how some are using the Gospel as an act of selfish envy and rivalry to increase his punishment in prison. But Paul knows the Truth stating, “What difference does it make, as long as in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is being proclaimed? And in that I rejoice. Indeed I shall continue to rejoice, for I know that this will result in deliverance for me through your prayers and support from the Spirit of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:18-19 Try and relate this to your own life. Know that when people talk about your spirituality, they are proclaiming the Gospel in pretense or in Truth but either way, “Christ is being proclaimed.” When I proclaim to strangers the Truth of Christ Jesus, people around us may say “oh whatever” but in Truth they are experiencing the Gospel allowing them to think about God’s Divine Providence.

Sometimes we have to learn to go the lowest place of honor in respect of those around us. For many years I would seek a limelight that I thought was my calling. I was the loudest. I was the craziest. I wanted to be noticed. But in Christ, we must learn to humble ourselves. We must seek the lowest of the low while proclaiming the Highest of the High. In our witness, He will become the place of honor people will see and hear by our actions in His love. God takes notice of this and He will exalt you to higher places because of your commitment to the less fortunate than you. Share what you have to people less fortunate than you or even people who have more than you. By your actions, Christ is proclaimed in silence and in speech. “For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.” Luke 14:11 Yesterday, I shared a meal with a man behind me in line as I said to the cashier in a Subway, “I’m paying for the man next to me. Please tell him I said ‘God Bless you’.” I walked out without turning around as I heard the words, “Wow.” What would happen in the world if we all practiced random acts of love in the Name of Christ Jesus? In loving your love of Christ, we share with anyone to advance the Gospel everywhere in the world.

And so we pray: Dearest Lord, I pray to humble myself in public to accomplish Your Will of peace on earth. Teach me to live in You and proclaim Your Truth with confidence. Guide me to the seat of humility while speaking the joys of knowing Your Son’s Redemption. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen

Known Salvation He Cannot Fake

Witness in pretense
Witness in Truth
One way or another
His Love is in use

The Spirit of Jesus Christ
Lives in hope or in shame
In boldness I do deliver
His message of love to gain

He lives in my body
Not hidden but alive
Sins of the world He conquered
Proof in the tears I do cry

In life and in death
His Spirit moves me so
I seek to accomplish His Will
To share His Gospel to the unknown

Be proud of your faith in Him
Be boastful of the Son
Humanity must know His Love
To relinquish sins undone

Aren’t you thirsty for the Lord?
Your soul aches for Him day and night
Be not afraid of His Simpleness
Share His festival of right

Some people will observe you carefully
Watch every step you take
In His honor dine in silence
Known Salvation He cannot fake

to discern what is of value, so that you may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ

Wig’s Word of God Today 10-29-2010

And this is my prayer: that your love may increase ever more and more in knowledge and every kind of perception, to discern what is of value, so that you may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ for the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1: 9-11

Philippians 1:1-11, Psalm 111:1-2, 3-4, 5-6 & Luke 14:1-6

It’s hard to fathom what Paul must have experienced back in the days when he was imprisoned because he loved God so much by his belief in Christ Jesus. The conditions must have been hell on earth: no air conditioning, earth floors and barely enough to eat. Yet, in all this he trusted the Lord’s Will in his life. He was steadfast in his prayers. He was focused on writing the truth. He was proclaiming the Gospel! Hallelujah! He reminded his friends to keep the faith and prayed their love of God would increase. As I have written before, loving your love of Christ in good times and bad times celebrates your complete surrender to a life of Christ. Your love of God can increase each and every day by practicing the three P’s of Christianity: Practice (read your bible), Pray unceasingly over everything you live and Proclaim with confidence the Gospel of Humanity.

In Chapter 14 of Luke, Jesus prepares us to understand what must happen to become His Disciple by adhering to true humility when taking up seats of honor around the dinner table. His teachings point out that it is more important to heal on the Sabbath than to adhere to a practice of not healing because even a Pharisee or a scholar of the law would save his own son or ox from drowning on a Sabbath day. He then healed a man with dropsy and sent him on his way. Dropsy is a condition where your body holds water and you become bloated. Seek the Redemptive One every day of the week and be healed by His Love no matter what day it is. Your love of Him will carry you through any type of illness by accepting His Will and asking for healing and truth. Share His joy. Share His peace. Share His Truth of Love.

And so we pray: My Lord and My God, how beautiful Your love is in everything we do. Increase our knowledge of You and allow us to discern what is of value so we may one day be pure and blameless when we go before You in Heaven. Be our hands, be our feet, be our eyes and be our words to bring Your Love to Humanity. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Redemptive Blood Covers All

Slaves we are
At least I am in He
Seeking His Love
Sharing His Truth to see

In God I thank
His love of you
Prayers of deep thoughts
Christ’s love so true

I partner in the Gospel
His vision complete
I work for nothing
My pay is His love I seek

Grace as a partner
Imprisoned by Truth
Witness of God
Aspirations from my youth

My prayer is everlasting
I am blameless in Him
Righteousness of purity
Void of shame and sin

Look for the delight in the Lord
Guided by the Gospel of Christ
Teach the love of God
Gladness of an endless right

Heal by your faith in Him
No matter what day of the week
By your walk in faith to see
By the words you learn to speak

Answer His question
Do not be afraid
His Redemptive Blood covers all
As the Nail entered His hand He sprayed

In those days He departed to the mountain to pray, and He spent the night in prayer to God

Wig’s Word of God Today 10-28-2010

In those days He departed to the mountain to pray, and He spent the night in prayer to God. Luke 6:12

Ephesians 2:19-22, Psalm 19:2-3, 4-5 & Luke 6:12-16

You are a member of the household of God by your faith in Christ Jesus. You have become an exclusive member of a right given to us by the death of our Savior Jesus Christ Who as Paul puts it is the “capstone” of the foundation of all Christian followers. I spoke to a friend last night who recently attended a retreat called “A Walk to Emmaus” where she described a peace had settled over her after experiencing the weekend. I believe this peace she felt was a relationship she developed with Christ Himself and is the reason why we read our bible, pray unceasingly and proclaim with confidence. Everyone is growing “into a temple sacred in the Lord; in Him you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.” Ephesians 2:21-22 Trust in the Lord with everything and experience the Spirit of the Lord’s grace. Loving your love of Christ gives you the right to become an exclusive member of His House of Faith, Hope, Charity and Love where all sin has been wiped clean from the Blood of the Lamb.

Luke describes the naming of the Apostles after Christ proclaims He is the Lord of the Sabbath and healing the man with a deformed hand before going to pray on the mountain. One by one He called each for a predestined purpose including Judas Iscariot who would betray Him by handing Him over for mere silver. I try to remind people Jesus is God Who knew before hand Judas would betray Him and He used Him as a part of His Plan for Humanity’s saving grace. How do you fit in the world of apostleship? We are all called by God to not become boastful in ourselves but to boast in the Lord. In 1 Corinthians 1:27-31, Paul explains we should “consider y(our) own calling, brothers. Not many of you were wise by human standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. Rather, God chose the foolish of the world to shame the wise, and God chose the weak of the world to shame the strong, and God chose the lowly and despised of the world, those who count for nothing, to reduce to nothing those who are something, so that no human being might boast before God. It is due to Him that you are in Christ Jesus, Who became for us wisdom from God, as well as righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Whoever boasts, should boast in the Lord.”

And so we pray: Dear Heavenly Father, we accept Your calling from us to be Apostles of Your Son’s Truth. Help us to see His Love in everything we do. Teach us to be faithful never to boast but in the Lord’s love. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

God Bless,

Sins of the World He did Sacrifice

Strangers no more
Sojourning on your own
His Peace you now have
God’s grace to be grown

A relationship to enjoy
His love to embrace
Seek not your own will
Seek only to share His Face

The Foundation has been set
A Capstone securely in place
A Temple to experience within
God’s Spirit in your sacred space

Everyone’s message is heard
Not a place you can’t confide
His Word pours out by day
In the night there’s no place to hide

Seek your own mountain to pray
Come down as an Apostle in Christ
His Gospel you will preach

For behold, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last

Wig’s Word of God Today 10-27-2010

For behold, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last Luke 13:30

Ephesians 6:1-9, Psalm 145:10-11, 12-13ab, 13cd-14 & Luke 13:22-30

Paul describes a Truth God wants us all to adhere to: obeying your Elders! I think it is important to point out that obeying your elders gives you favor to God and is pleasing to Him. Why else would He have listed it as one of the commandments? As long as what you are obeying is not jeopardizing your health or safety, obeying your parents who give you solid Biblical Instruction are teaching you the ways of the Lord. As a teacher, I have learned that to get respect you must give respect and not force your instruction onto children with anger or disrespect but with reverence for the child’s inner self. By sharing your feelings and needs with children and adults alike, you relay a desire of teaching in love showing by example in your voice, your body movement and your actions. Share His Truth with compassion, respect and love.

The sound of wailing and grinding of teeth makes me shudder with fear of the Lord. There is something important here to recognize: Jesus says you are entering the Narrow Gate of Heaven by your strength in the Lord! “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I tell you, will attempt to enter but will not be strong enough.” Luke 13:24 You can knock and knock and knock but the Lord will not recognize you by your deeds here on earth for your strength in following God’s Commandments weren’t faithful enough for you to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. He will say, “‘I do not know where (you) are from. Depart from me, all you evildoers!'” Luke 13:27 When you are loving your love of Christ, you have repented from your sins, you read you bible daily, you seek His constant protection and guidance in prayers and you proclaim His Good News to all you meet. Your strength to enter the Kingdom of Heaven will be displayed here on earth by your good deeds of faith, hope, charity and love.

And so we pray: My Lord and My God, we pray today for strength to finish the race here on earth and to accomplish Your Promise of Eternal Life with Christ Jesus as our Guide. Allow us to learn from our parents, our Elders and our children to grow in you Lord by day and by night. Remind us whether we are first or last, we do everything for Your Glory. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

If They are First or Last

My child obey the Lord’s Teaching
In parents Divine principle each day
The first commandment of Promise
A long life on earth to pray

To be obedient in deed and in word
Seek not your own guidance
Allowing His Word to obtain
A faithful walk in His Light to sustain

His Will in your heart
Christ’s love will never part
Gaining freedom from sin
Glowing with love from within

By your works give thanks
Your might in His Word
A Glorious Kingdom to Proclaim
His Dominion forever to endure

The strength needed to open
The door of Heaven you’ll see
Some will knock to get in
But evildoers He will send to flee

To the depths of hell to grind
Their teeth to sharp little nubs
Your waling will be heard from below
By God’s instruction you did snub

From the North and South they will come
By a life they have lead to be
No matter if they are first or last
The Lord knows all from Heaven to see

What is the Kingdom of God like? To what can I compare it?

Wig’s Word of God Today 10-26-2010

What is the Kingdom of God like? To what can I compare it? Luke 13:18

Ephesians 5:21-33, Psalm 128:1-2, 3, 4-5 & Luke 13:18-21

Paul calls on us to be subordinate to one another out of reverence for Christ. You must do what it takes to become in your surrender to a life of Christ by being like Him in all His ways as He was to humanity when He walked the earth healing and teaching by love’s example. Christ did not come to the world as person full of conceit rather He lowered Himself to be the meek of the meek. He became subordinate even to the point of death to save the world from sin. We too should be subordinate to our wives or husbands as Paul describes to place God first in everything we do. Present yourself to your spouse as God desires you to present yourself to Him: loving God as you do your own body with joy and God-like care.

Compare the Kingdom of God to your own body as His Temple of Divine Providence. You want to be one with Christ so you must keep yourself undefiled seeking only His Love to accomplish everything His Will asks you to do. By your repentance to practice, pray and preach, you too can become the branches of the mustard plant that will lift new souls to a Heavenly Kingdom joining ‘the birds of the sky dwelt(ing) in its branches.” Luke 13:19d Loving your love of Christ takes courage, blind faith and great effort to compare your life to a life in the Kingdom of God. Heaven on earth can only be achieved by your faith, hope, charity and love to all mankind in your surroundings. Each of us is responsible to create heaven on earth for those less fortunate than us as well as those in our personal lives. We do this by acting with honor. We do this by acting with compassion. We do this by giving everything about us to God Almighty where only His Glory is our most important aspect of Creating Heaven here on earth.

And so we pray: Heavenly Father, we pray today for all those who are sick and dying. We pray today for all those who need work. We pray today for those who are hungry. We pray today we can become warriors of faith, hope, charity and love as a witness to Your Promise. We pray we are examples of Christ’s love in our families, our jobs and our decisions to accomplish more for Your Name. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Humanity’s Savior, God’s Only Son

Be subordinate to His Truth
Seek only His Way
Living a life of giving
Sharing your treasures each day

Christ is our Leader
The Head of all the Church
Live in His Promise
Sins forgiven at your baptized birth

Love your wives and husbands as yourself
Share His Glory in prayer to help
We each have a mission to accomplish for Him
Be His hands and feet to eliminate sin

Nourish your body as He empowers you
A Temple to purify through God Who knew
A life of excess and self will dim
Any chance of entering His Kingdom with Him

You are blessed by your fear of God
Life of love can give you the nod
A beautiful wife and joy to boot
The grape of His vine as edible fruit

Compare the Kingdom to a Seed of Truth
The Gospels cry out to give us proof
He died and rose for each and everyone
Humanity’s Savior, God’s Only Son

So be imitators of God, as beloved children, and live in love, as Christ loved us

Wig’s Word of God Today 10-25-2010

So be imitators of God, as beloved children, and live in love, as Christ loved us Ephesians 5:1-2a

Ephesians 4:32–5:8, Psalm 1:1-2, 3, 4 and 6 & Luke 13:10-17

The word kind has never left anyone’s language. We are all called by God to give and receive kindness, compassion, charity and love. It only makes sense to me that talking ugly about anyone or anything doesn’t fit right in Godly language from the heart. With my students I teach a method of nonviolent communication everyday by showing them how to speak from the heart. I began using this daily as a way to communicate my needs and feelings to the students and to root out bullying in my classroom.

Dr. Marshall B. Rosenberg who created A Center for Nonviolent Communication states “the process of nonviolent communication encourages us to focus on what we and others are observing separate from our interpretations and judgments, to connect our thoughts and feelings to underlying human needs/values (e.g. protection, support, love), and to be clear about what we would like towards meeting those needs. These skills give the ability to translate from a language of criticism, blame, and demand into a language of human needs — a language of life that consciously connects us to the universal qualities “alive in us” that sustain and enrich our well being, and focuses our attention on what actions we could take to manifest these qualities.”1A  I believe nonviolent communication is the exact language of love God meant us to express to each other by our love of His Son to Glorify Him.

Jesus heals on the Sabbath to prove a point by showing it is more important to heal the woman from Satan’s grip than to allow her to go one more day in this state of affliction. He compares the work it takes to water their animals on the Sabbath as indeed work being accomplished on the day of rest. “But the leader of the synagogue, indignant that Jesus had cured on the Sabbath, said to the crowd in reply, “There are six days when work should be done. Come on those days to be cured, not on the Sabbath day.” The Lord said to him in reply, “Hypocrites! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his ass from the manger and lead it out for watering? This daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound for eighteen years now, ought she not to have been set free on the Sabbath day from this bondage?” When He said this, all His adversaries were humiliated; and the whole crowd rejoiced at all the splendid deeds done by Him.” Luke 13:14-17 I often wonder what the Pharisees would have said if the person being healed was their own family.

And so we pray: Heavenly Father, we pray today we always speak the language of love when we talk about anyone, anything or anyplace. Guide us to be a people who Glorify You in everything we do. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Pass along all forgiveness
As Abba has given all
By Christ you witness

Such a sweet sweet smell
The love that covers all

Faith in a world of gall

Greedy ones find the end
Empty of dreams of self
God’s forgiveness covers them
Repent of Satan’s blazing shelf

Darkness may have once covered
The steps of a lifeless journey
In Christ you will see life in Light to be
The Light shinning for Redemption of thee

Walk not in the ways of sinners
Walk not in the way of deceit

for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and the one who humbles himself will be exalted

Wig’s Word of God Today 10-24-2010

“For He is a God of justice, who knows no favorites.” Sirach 35:12 “for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and the one who humbles himself will be exalted.” Luke 18:14b

Sirach 35:12-14, 16-18, Psalm 34:2-3, 17-18, 19, 23, 2 Timothy 4:6-8, 16-18 & Luke 18:9-14

All servants of God must be humble at heart yet confident in their knowledge of God’s Promise through practice, prayer and proclamation. The lowly of the low in Saints mingled with the lowest of the low in the populations be it homeless dying people to diseased people in the streets who had no one to care for them, they were embraced by the Saints who believed Jesus Christ saved the world from sin. They modeled Christ’s compassion, His Strength and His Love. They lived a life of humble devotion to the less fortunate yet were confident in their apostleship because of Christ Jesus. Not a favorite of God, a humble servant who chose to live each moment in a relationship with the Savior of the World. Do you serve the less fortunate with confidence by your relationship with Jesus?

The race for Paul wasn’t finished yet. He was full of disgust because people weren’t rallying around him for God like he expected. He urged Timothy to protect The Word against false teachers and be mindful of God’s Plan for Humanity. He was confident yet humble. When the things of this world become less important than your love of God, the glory of the Lord is your only concern. It’s when He reveals Himself to you that you become like mist in the air, floating with the Holy Spirit as He gives you His Eternal embrace. I always tell the children in my class to take ownership of themselves and not to worry about what other kids are doing to show how they can model good behavior. Do you model good behavior in serving the Lord by caring for your own self and not worrying or gossiping about others? We all can show such a love for loving Christ by our acts of faith, hope, charity and love. Be Good for the Good Sheppard Who brought humanity the Good News.

And so we pray: Heavenly Father, I pray this day is filled with Your Glory. Teach us to be humble yet confident in our proclamation of You. Our joy is to exalt You Lord. I ask nothing in return because You provide all that I need. We pray for continued hope, faith, charity and love. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Brokenness can worship too
His Glory we will worship
Surrender to His Plan Eternal to do

I long to hold the arms of God
My revelation has been told
I was made to seek His Glory
Of same I proclaim so bold

living the Truth in love, we should grow in every way into Him Who is the Head, Christ

Wig’s Word of God Today 10-23-2010

“living the Truth in love, we should grow in every way into Him Who is the Head, Christ” Ephesians 4:15

Ephesians 4:7-16, Psalm 122:1-2, 3-4ab, 4cd-5 & Luke 13:1-9

Humanity is joined together by the Grace of God in His joy and desires linked to us by the Words we study everyday. From this Grace we are given certain “natural gifts” as Paul describes our job is to “work the ministry;” to build up the “Body of Christ.” “From whom the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, with the proper functioning of each part, brings about the body’s growth and builds itself up in love.” Ephesians 4:16 Don’t you just love Ephesians? Building up the Church to make Salvation known throughout the universe is purpose. We, the church, should grow together in Christ as One Body remaining in Unity to accomplish the Will of God. When we loose perspective of life by allowing the “flash of media” to rule our desires, we become disconnected to God’s Divine Plan.

A Plan we have to choose to embrace and build up by our faith, sweat, tears, pain and love of vocation to seek and share the Gospel of Christ Jesus. We study His Word every day to accomplish same. As One Body in Christ we can fulfill God’s design of humanity working in harmony and joy in the Lord. Don’t be fooled by the lies and trickery of those scheming to steal your soul. We are One Church in each Community of God by our belief He lived for 33 years, hung on a Cross for our sins and Rose in three days. Jesus Christ is Risen! Without a moment of hesitation I reply, “He IS Risen Indeed” as my arms swell into God-bumps my body tingles and tears of Christ roll down my cheeks. I am His; the Holy Spirit lifting me to His Teachings.

The Parable of the Barren Fig Tree is told by Jesus after He instills in us the need for repentance to live a life of faith, hope, charity and love. God’s Patience is known from the parable for those who have not repented but is also known as an example of the end times. We live a life of needs: We need water and nutrients. We need love and affection. We need community and friends. We need to worship and glorify the Lord. We need to give and live in love. Paul recognized humanity has to grow in every way to the Lord as Christ describes in a fig tree needing cultivation. He knows we have to be cultivated in Him by our Practice, our Praying and our Proclamation of His Truth. We can’t love our love of Christ unless we give our own bodies the cultivation of His love to seek and accomplish His Will. Try and remember when you talk to the next person about Christ that it is more important to lift them up in Christ than to exalt your own faith over them. Let’s bring us all together to Glorify the Lord in the Liberty he afforded all by the Blood of His Son and become “One Body in Christ.”

And so we pray: Father of Heaven, In every way Lord, we want to grow unto You. Allow me to be cultivated by You. Allow me to seek only what is Your Will. Allow all those who find You through me Glorify You forever. Give us understanding how to become One Body in Christ. Teach us to share Your Purpose to anyone we meet. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace

Wig’s Word of God Today 10-22-2010

eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:3
Ephesians 4:1-6, Psalm 24:1-6 & Luke 12:54-59

I praise God this morning in sickness and in health. A teacher’s burden to carry his student’s coughs, drips and sore throats around hoping the fever stays aground. My soul aches for Truth to be told. My burden is heavy and my joy foretold. Through Christ I am a prisoner bonded by chains of love. I want to feed the poor in spirit with God’s Holy Ghost Dove. There is unity of God’s Grace that is felt in the Spirit of Love. We cannot change our free will but accept His Calling from above. You have received only one baptism from only One God of Love.

The Trinity is One for Humanity to seek from above. Christ instructs us to love our love of Him above all acts of sin. Through repentance and faith will we see Eternal Life to win. Settle your debts and be free of the sinner’s prison of hell. God sent His Only Son to release you through your surrender to tell. Eternal Life is yours and it is free of charge. Read your Bible, practice and pray, proclaim the Truth where we live to say: Jesus Christ is Risen- He is Risen Indeed this day!

And so we pray: Dear God, while sickness can bring my strength down and the sounds of coughing linger within, my soul aches for Your Truth to always begin. Anew in me I seek through You. Guide me to accomplish Your Will so true. I celebrate all as Your abiding Truth. In Your Word I will always be able to prove. His Risen Truth. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen

Only Hypocrites Will Pout

I am held prisoner
Chained in time
My Captor is Christ
I led an unworthy mind

Seeking the ills of sin
Patience I had not
Pleasures of body I lived
Not knowing my soul would rot

I became one with Him
My surrender was complete
Each and every moment
Lowliness I learned to seek

Glue fashioned from peace
My call was concrete
I lavish a life in the Father
With the Son and Spirit I am complete

A fullness of love
A world of Truth
He Who opened the seas
My hands clean as proof

In His Holy Place I will stand
From mountaintops I will shout
“Vindication is the Lord’s Will
Only hypocrites will pout”

Selah in your stillness
Teach all generations to hear
The Word of God did instruct
His decrees to adhere

Watch the cloud rising
A shower of love to feel
Seek what is right in life
Through faith, hope and charity’s meal

There is a baptism with which I must be baptized, and how great is My anguish until it is accomplished!

Wig’s Word of God Today 10-21-2010

There is a baptism with which I must be baptized, and how great is My anguish until it is accomplished! Luke 12:50

Ephesians 3:14-21, Psalm 33:1-2, 4-5, 11-12, 18-19 & Luke 12:49-53

Before I became a Montessori Teacher I went for a job interview at a Catholic School for a third grade teacher position and during the my observed lesson the Principal who was a Nun was watching me teach, I talked about the importance of prayer in all of our lives and asked the children if they prayed when they got up, before each meal during the day, over tough daily decisions and before they go to bed. Getting down on my knees in front of the class clasping my hands together I prayed my prayer before going to bed as an example. Paul tells us how he gets down on his knees to pray before the Father explaining his hope for all is “that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Teach your children to pray on their knees giving them a guide to give all thanks and glory to God the Father for His Son’s Salvation of the world. Teach yourselves to pray on your knees always being thankful for all you have for you too are afforded Eternal Salvation.

Christ was well aware of the day and hour of His impeding death. How great His anguish was as He approached the days of His Crucifixion. Many around were in dismay He could be speaking of His Death as a need for all mankind. The Apostles did not understand why His statement of division among families was foretold by Him because their faith had not been baptized by the Holy Spirit. The division of families sometimes can’t be avoided because no matter what you do, their desire to understand what a belief in Christ Jesus will provide them is still not accepted by many today. Our country experiences this everyday where the joy of selfish acts of sin is more important than giving thanks to God the Father for all our country has and will be given. No matter what division you experience by loving your love of Christ, the Truth you carry in your soul will bring you Everlasting Life. A surrender to this love is more important than any other love or desires you might have. Give every moment to Him and you too will find peace among division.

And so we pray: Heavenly Father, I pray today for those who have not yet found Your Will to be their comfort and strength each day. On my knees I praise Your Name and ask You to forgive those who have not yet found Your Truth. Be it families or friends, my love of Your Son may cause division and I accept this as necessary for my Salvation. May I be an example that brings Unity instead of separation. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

God Bless,

Romans 8:28

Not Worried of Division

Seek to kneel
Praising His Name
Seek to share
Life Everlasting I dare

Gain power by His Spirit
In your heart He will dwell
Accomplish more in admission
Sins relinquished death spell

Power to imagine
Truth at all cost
Glory in His Church
Knowledge never to scoff

Goodness of God is around us
All the earth can see and feel
Repent of ugliness and division
Eternal Life you will relish to reel

Be not worried of division
His love may confuse some
Your surrender always giving
A life of Truth in the Son
